I'm jotting down a lot of different ideas so that I can remember them for the future, and get early feedback.

I realize this is turning into TL:DR; The Motion Picture, but don't worry, each post is mostly unrelated to the others, so if you want to skim over and dive it, go for it.

So I don't know. I like the idea of making original content better than parodies, but at the same time, I see cartoons and think, dude, this would make a hilarious porno.

So the first cartoon porn parody idea is Winnie the Pooh. Don't know why, the brain is a mysterious organ I guess. I remember feeling unsure of what gender a lot of the characters were supposed to be, so I can easily imagine it into a harem situation. The general flow of the show would probably lend itself best to a point-n-click adventure style game.

First is a replacement for Winnie the Pooh. This guy should be named something close but different, like Vinnie the Pud. Vinnie is probably the controlled character in the game and the only male, or primary male. Looking back at the show as a grown-up, I'm amused by how stonery that bear could get, so it might be interesting to play with that idea in the porn parody. Weed or booze would work, but I think weed is funnier. Shrooms could also be fun. I think I've heard that stoners aren't the best lovers, so if Vinnie is a pot-head, it might be funnier for the story if he is actually uninterested by the harem and is just going on adventures for pot, and sexy stuff just happens to him as a side-effect. Vinnie the Pot-head could be another amusing name for the character. The problem with using weed or booze is that I have zero interest in the stuff and anything I write would either require research or get bombarded with comments about how that's not how drugs work. With shrooms, I feel like I have freedom to do whatever I want, since less people use them and different shrooms have different effects anyways.

I remember the Piglet character being a high-strung little thing, with Pooh constantly sharing "sage advice" to help him/her get mellow. That would definitely be a fun angle to explore in a sex game, especially if Vinnie is a stoner. I don't like loli-con stuff, but I'm fine with a petite or just-turned-18 kinda character. I don't see a need to make a big fuss about it in the narrative, but I want to avoid calling her something like "Piglet" since that definitely sounds under aged. Piggy or Peggy could work, or something like Suey. Sus would probably go over too many heads.

Pooh's other best friend, the emo donkey, Eeyore, is a great excuse to bring in a goth chick or emo chick. I honestly can't remember that much about Eeyore, but an obvious plot point is that she seeks out sex and/or drugs to feel less depressed, which Vinnie can provide. Not sure what to name this character either, but perhaps there is an opportunity for ass jokes.

The classic serious character. I imagine this character as a Tsundere type. She dislikes Vinnie's personality and lazy, stonery habits, but at the same time, she is physically attracted to him, possibly because he's the only male character available. She is annoyed and ashamed of her attraction and thus resents Vinnie further. Not sure how to convey this information in a point-n-click adventure, since it would kinda suppose handing the story over to her to express her thoughts, or maybe she lets it slip in conversation. I'm thinking Bunny is a decent name for this character.

The wonderful thing about tiggers, is that tiggers are wonderful things! Probably your classic energetic genki girl or wild girl character. I remember in one of the earlier stories, they were actually afraid that tigger would be dangerous, because you know, man-eating tiger rawrr, but once they meet him, he's just a glomp-happy spazz. It could be fun to play with the idea that the Tigress is way more wild than the others and gives in to primordial instinct more readily. Name is probably Tigress, but I might try and concoct some weird variation, like Tiger-Tigger. Trigger could be a fun name, especially if she's glomping and fucking on a hair-trigger. In another universe, I could see a Tigger parody being the only male instead of Pooh, but tigers are hotter than bears.

Kanga and Roo, the original Milf and Shota. And I mean, original Kanga is just oozing fanfic bait. She's the only definite female, the only character without a crippling personality disorder, there's no dad in the picture, constantly smother-hugging people (or maybe just Roo, but whatever, vicarious smother-hugging milf). She even does the naked-apron thing. So I feel like porn-Kanga can just be Kanga but sex happens. Maybe she's the type that tries to seduce Vinnie so that he'll be a father for the kid. I remember Tigger sort of ends up being a father figure, or at least crazy uncle figure for Roo, so maybe porn-Kanga and Tigress get together in the parody. Or maybe she could be like "let mommy Kanga teach you all about sex!" to all the other female characters. I suppose it depends on how much time they each get. Don't have a name for porn-Kanga yet.

As for Roo, obviously the parody name is going to be Joey or Joe, maybe he calls himself Joe, but his mom calls him Joey. Joe might as well be male, I feel like there's enough female forms by now, and Piggy is already a petite type. Not sure what to do with him. Maybe he could cooperate with Vinnie for some adventures, but I don't remember Pooh and Roo having a lot of chemistry in the original show. A fun angle might be to make Joe kind of a bad boy character, leather jacket and such. I kinda remember him being rebellious. Maybe he hangs out with Vinnie to score drugs and babes, or maybe Vinnie uses him as a decoy to handle the ladies wile Vinnie gets the drugs.

Christopher Robin -> Christina Raven. Boom. Honestly I don't remember what this character is like, except that Pooh goes to him for help. It might be interesting to lean more heavily on the idea that all of this goes on in Chris' imagination, acting things with stuffed animals. Maybe the game ends to Christina masturbating surrounded by stuffed animals. I'm a little more worried about this character coming across as too young, since she's human, so I might try to place some comment about going off to college or complaining about physics professors to make her sound legit.

I remember Gopher and Owl being in the show, but I don't remember what their characters are like. I think there's enough of a harem that they don't need their genders bent, they can just be male NPCs that give you quests or info.

An odd concept, but you've certainly got the characters laid out well. I'm not sure if I've played a porn game focusing on a pot-head and his depressed friend. Also for a name suggestion for Kanga mum, why not something stupidly similar like Kana or Karren?

Alright, second hentai harem parody idea is Star Fox. Let's call it Astro-Vulpus. This is a little more stream-of-consciousness than the last one. Not as much of a solid idea.

Star Fox is more of an action thing, so this game would be more of a shooter. I can easily whip together a scrolling shooter or asteroids-style shooter. An actual Star Fox style shooter would be too complicated, and honestly, I don't think that style added anything great. I might be able to cobble together an Alloy Tengu style shooter, but I don't know if I remember that well enough. I feel like the Frank's Adventure theory of rewarding you with porn for doing normal video game activity works well enough, so the basic premise would be to go through shooter levels, and then get sex scenes afterwards.

Back in the day, I had an idea to make a Macross parody dating game, where your day job would be to protect the city-ship from aliens, and then you date girls in your off-time, much as the characters of Macross do. Now that I'm into anthro-hentai, a Star Fox style version of that appeals to me more. I think for Astro-Vulpus, your various squadron mates would all be females, probably a rabbit, bird, frog and alien fox, maybe other references or head canon, like an all female Star Wolf squadron that joins your team as you defeat them.

As in Star Fox, your mates occasionally show up to help out in battle, and helping them or hurting them causes emotional repercussions later. However, I don't like how scripted Star Fox is, I'd prefer to make Astro-Vulpus more randomly generated so that I can focus on sexy things. I'm not sure how squadron-mates would work in a scrolling shooter setting, although I've seen games like Project Inthri 3 or Agent Wing Defenders Final that have plot-related AI helper ships. Maybe another way to handle it is that they give you missions over the intercom, like "Destroy that big one for me!" and you get friendship+ for completing it. An Alloy Tengu system would be more natural, but again, not sure I remember how to throw that together. An asteroids style seems like a happy medium, but I think it would be too crowded to have 5 friendly ships on the screen at once. Maybe they could appear and leave at random (or scripted) time intervals. They could also maybe follow you around like "bits" or "options" or whatever. Or maybe you can summon your girls, maybe like using a scrolling shooter megabomb.

I think it would be fun if dating gave you access to some kind of shooter upgrades. So for example, let's say that when frog-girl's ship is on screen, it shoots a spread shot. After the third date, she gives you an upgrade that allows you to use spread shot. Or maybe instead, a successful date upgrades her spread shot. So instead of upgrading your own fighter, you are upgrading your allies. To go that route, you definitely need to have some kind of constant influence from your team mates and a strong AI or script or whatever to make it worthwhile.

An important consideration for a game like this is the controls. For example, if asteroid is used, that makes piloting the craft a challenge on its own. But if you're using WASD to move and Mouse to aim and shoot, piloting is pretty easy, so you need to rely on badguys and upgrades for the challenge. So maybe, if it's a scrolling shooter, you could move the ship with the mouse. Shooting could be automatic, and then clicking the mouse does something like uses a power shot or barrel roll. Then the WASD buttons are set to different girls, you summon them onto the field and they follow you around, shooting their guns and whatnot. They stick around for a limited amount of time, so you need to ration them for long missions. Good dates can increase the number of times you can summon them, increase the time they stay around or power up their attacks while summoned. You could also potentially have Q, E, Tab, Shift and Space for extra commands if necessary.

Another thought, a lot of those scrolling shooter games change your weapon by grabbing power-ups. Maybe the girls are summoned by power-ups, like grabbing a purple power-up summons the bird girl, grabbing a green power-up summons the frog girl, etc. Then, like a standard scrolling shooter, if you get hit or grab a different power-up, they go away. Ace Invaders had a system where you could hold two different weapons by grabbing the power up on either your right side or your left side. That could work, so one girl's fighter hangs out on your left side and another one hangs out on your right side, until you get blasted. Or maybe they have their own hitboxes and they can get blasted, so you need to keep your whole squadron out of harm's way if you can.

Man, this seems like a lot of game ideas. I need to think of more anthro-sci-fi series to parody so I can do more. Maybe an anthro-hentai-scrolling-shooter Star Trek parody...

Also, as far as Astro-Vulpus, I've gotten to thinking, does it really need to be a Star Fox parody at this point? Sure, anthros in space, pew-pew-pew, do a barrel roll! but beyond that, should I bother having a rivalry falcon, mechanic frog and ...old(?) rabbit as your squadron harem, or should I do it with animals that I like better, like sharks and lizards and macropods? Heck, I could even combine it with the last thing and make Vinnie the Pilot. That said, it would be easier to use an existing set of personalities as a base, and Star Fox's do fit pretty well. Like, I could see wanting to date a female Falco or female Slippy, but I'm less sure about dating a female LaForge or female Data.

Okay, so I've been thinking it over, I really like the Astro Vulpus scrolling shooter idea. I'm pretty solid on the shooter aspect, less so on the dating aspect.

Basic mechanic is that you have your basic scrolling shooter ship, mouse controls, auto fire, plus you can click to charge up shots and press Shift or Space or something to do a Barrel Roll. (probably more of an R-Type charge shot than a Star Fox charge shot) The fun unique mechanic is that you can press WASD to summon your various squadron mates/harem girls to your side during battle. I'm thinking they will follow your ship around for a while, like options or bits, or honestly the same way your ship follow the mouse, using some kind of better-than-yours attack, like spread shots or cannons or lasers or whatever. By leveling up your relationship with each girl, you can increase the number of times you can summon them, and increase the power of their weapon.

For the dating aspect, I could use your help. I think like most such games, there will be some sort of relationship level for each girl. I think because there is already a shooter system that won't involve sexy-time, I don't want to force you to slog through the usual tedious courtship rituals that would you would have in a normal dating game. So all of the characters will be sex-on-the-first-date types, and improving the relationships will result in more sex scenes available, and allow you to upgrade their combat abilities. I'd also like it if you can improve the relationship level during combat, maybe by getting KOs with a particular squad mate. Or hitting an enemy with a particular girl's weapon could result in a power-up thingy being dropped that increases your relationship once you pick it up. I think that would give you a better feedback than just rolling numbers behind the scenes. You could get money by shooting down enemies (with your own ship, I guess), then spend it on dates, so if you do good on a particular level, you have more money to spend on girls. There was also the idea that the girls can do something to upgrade your ship, so in that case, things you do during dates could improve your combat ability, while things you do on dates can improve your dating ability.

I've been thinking about the squadron girls too. The Star Fox characters do give me a lot to work with, so I'll base it off of them for this game. To limit the learning curve of the game, I think you will only be able to summon Pepper at the beginning, then Harriet and Slick, then Jewelia.

- Renard Nimbus - (in place of Fox McCloud) The male, fox protagonist. Renard and Pepper's fathers created the Astro Nimbus squadron a long time ago. Renard didn't want to join his father's squadron for a long time, but joins at the beginning of the game for reasons I have yet to establish. Possibly boobs. Unlike Fox McCloud, Renard is not the leader of the squadron, Pepper is, but you experience the game from his perspective.

- Pepper the Rabbit - (in place of Peppy O'hare) The leader of Astro Vulpus, she inherited the squadron when her father and Renard's resigned. She grew up with Renard and asks him to think of her as his "Big Sis". She tries to manage the squadron's strong personalities, but they are a handful.

- Harriet the Harrier - (in place of Falco Lombardi) A hotshot ace that wants to be the best in space. She is initially annoyed that Pepper gives him preferential treatment when he is a beginner, but once she realizes that he is a hard worker and has been piloting since he was a child, her frustration gives way to arousal.

- Slick the Frog - (in place of Slippy Toad) Astro Vulpus' technical guru. She loves to tinker and helps all the girls out with their fighter maintenance. She is a true student of life, and pursues Renard as much for the sake of curiosity as attraction.

- Jewelia the Kyuubi - (in place of Krystal) An alien princess with 3 eyes and 9 tails, and doesn't understand clothing. Astro Vulpus receives her distress signal and comes to her rescue. She joins Astro Vulpus in order to get revenge on whatever cosmic evil it is that caused her problems, and to fuck the shit out of Renard and the other girls.

Okay, not changing gears, but I had a funny thought that I wanted to jot down. I was practicing funny voices and thought, hey, what about a Rocky & Bullwinkle hentai harem parody? So you'd have the Moose, Squirrel and Russian spies, maybe an appearance from characters like Peabody and Sherman or that mounty whose girlfriend wants to fuck his horse. Rocky and Natasha are already pretty hot, Bullwinkle has a curvy enough design that I could work with and I can easily change dum-ass to ditz, so Boris might get to be the sole male. I don't really remember what goes on in the show beyond vague spastic action comedy that ends on stupid cliff-hangers every time on channels that don't run the show in sequence. I'm assuming there was some aspect of spy action and state secrets, so that's something to work with if I can't find time to watch the show. I know the spys keep concocting stupid schemes to smash moose & skvirrel, so maybe a hentai version would have more honey pot schemes or damsels in distress. (saying honey pot scheme makes me think of an Archer-Rocky & Bullwinkle crossover)

More harem parody ideas floating around.

I really like the He-Man universe, it would be fun to create a harem parody there, but I've been having a hard time thinking it through. It would probably be a beat 'em up game, which would give me a reason/excuse to improve upon the open brawler engine, although honestly, if I were mimicking the show, a point-n-click adventure would probably be more appropriate since there is usually more puzzle solving than fighting. Maybe a little of both, then we're talking about a major project and is a He-Man clone really worth it? Also, I'm not sure what characters I could try to harem-ize. Variations of Teela and The Sorceress would be obvious. Orco might be cute as a chick, but female Man-at-Arms would be weird, and potentially dating "Teela's" mother. Although I'm sure some people would be amused by a MILF-at-Arms characters. (and I guess also M-a-A is Teela's step-parent, so that's maybe a little less weird...) There's Stratos and Ram-Man. Stratos is unspecific enough that he would be easy to girlify, but Ram-Man, uhhhhhh.....

Then there's She-ra/Adora. I reeeeeally don't want to get into incest, already bothered by the idea of "Teela" and MILF-at-Arms, and she's not really part of the main He-Man universe anyways. But she is hot. Since it's a parody anyways, I could just write her in as something else. Possibly a version of He-Man from an alternate universe that's female instead of male, or they could be Brady-Bunched step-siblings, or just as a childhood friend like Teela, I mean, shit. It would actually probably be easier to do a lesbian harem parody about the She-Ra show, since that is a major clam-fest, but I really didn't enjoy it as much. I might import some of the characters from Etheria as dates for "He-Man", Catra, Frosta and Castaspella being at the top of my list.

Another thought was to do a He-Man parody where you play as a Skeletor type character instead of He-man. Baddies like Beast-Man, Merman and Trap-Jaw are let's face it, pretty fucking ugly, but I could easily put the same villain-power concepts into hot chicks.

Another similar show was Thundarr the Barbarian, and if you've never seen it, holy shit, see it, it's amazing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6JEOM3c6Bo This show only had 3 recurring characters, Thundarr (the barbarian), Ookla (the mok) and Princess (?) Ariel (the sorceress). So in this case, I would at least turn Ookla into a hot cat girl, possibly turn Thundarr into a chick too and make it a sexy adventuring lesbian threesome. In the show, they encounter various mutants and monsters and sorcerers, so there would be ample opportunity to stick dicks in them if I wanted to. Thundarr was a more straightforward show than He-Man, so that could definitely get away with just a beat 'em up system

In the same vein, there was Galtar and the Golden Lance, which came close to being a harem comedy on its own when they introduced the character Rava. The Galtar show got zero love, so nobody would recognize it like the other two, but it's a good source of inspiration for making He-Man-esque adventures.

In also the same vein, I guess there's Golden Axe. Not sure how I would approach girlifying Golden Axe characters. Besides the regular cast, Golden Axe III had a panther anthro that I could turn into a hot black cat girl, and Revenge of Death Adder had a transforming centaur chick and The Duel had a pair of female characters that are different. But with a game like that, I could see you playing as the beefy man/dwarf and fucking women as a reward at the end of each level, and you get a lesbian scene if you play as the chick.

I had also been watching Game Grumps playthroughs of Legend of Zelda, Wind Waker, Wand of Gamelon and Ocarina. I'm torn because I really don't like Nintendo that much, and I don't want to do a bunch of Nintendo parodies, especially since I'm starting with Star Fox, but on the other hand, making a totally awesome Zelda parody would give me a chance to show up Nintendo and make a game that's even better. Making actual Legend of Zelda gameplay is out of the question, it would be difficult and the fact is, I don't care for those games much. Another beat 'em up combat system, maybe more like River City Ransom, would probably be my choice, although I could possibly scrape together something that's kinda like a WASD+Mouse rotating top-down shooter but with a sword, or I kinda liked the idea of Zelda 2 if not the execution.

Girls to parody would include Zelda, Shiek, Tetra, Midna, Saria, Malon, Ruto, Nabooru, Medley, Aryll, Marin, Ilia, Great Fairies, Cuccos, Epona. Due to the shear volume of puss in Link's life, there's not much need to turn any male characters into females. That said, Link makes a rockin' chick, it seems like a waste not to have some kind of female Link in there somewhere. Maybe the character is just always female, maybe he gets turned into a female with some kind of potion, maybe he's got a sister or childhood friend.

Or I could play the Super Villain card and make a He-Man-esque sword & sorcery world with characters based on Legend of Zelda. Kinda like this I guess:

Alright, woke up with another fun harem parody idea in my head: the Super Friends with Benefits. I don't think I want to make a direct parody of DC's Super Friends, like a Super Girl, Bat Girl and Aqua Girl, but there's a lot I could do with the idea of a super hero team. It would also be fun to throw in some Anime tropes, like a magical girl, or a super strong female android.

So, this could either be an all female lesbian hero squad, or it's an actual harem with one male character. If one of the characters is male, it would be interesting to make him unbalanced compared to the female characters, either much more powerful, like Super Man, or much weaker, like Squirrel Girl. The weaker male character would probably be more likeable, since one super powerful male fucking lots of females is a little too fantastic. For an all female lesbo hero squad, I would probably want to avoid making any unbalanced characters like that, though again, for story telling, it might be interesting to have one that is the leader or one that is the inept sidekick, or you might play as a new super hero girl that is rising up in the ranks, perhaps turning all the other super heroes into lesbians as you go.

So, character ideas:

Flying Super Hero - Someone who's main power is flight. Kinda like super man, but I'm not wild about Super Man, and I think most people find him kinda boring or over powered, especially in a team setting. So maybe more like Bird Man or Space Ghost.

Femme Fetale Agent - Someone kinda like Batman, but there's this whole trope of female spy or thief characters that have utility belts like Batman and similar powers of deduction or alertness. So the final character would probably be more like Fujiko Mine. I don't watch enough Marvel to know what Black Widow is like, but probably like her too. Maybe jet packs and rocket launchers and shit like Iron Man too, maybe some spider-man powers as well.

Magical Girl - There's nothing I like more than a Sailor Scout's legs-fo-dayz so something like that is absolutely happening. In the end, might be a bit more like Nanoha, since Nanoha has actual super powers, but it depends on what the game mechanics are.

Android - A super powered female android. Off the top of my head, like KOS-MOS, Android 18, Aigis or even a female Lieutenant Commander Data. I feel like there should be zillions more examples of characters like that, but I can't think of them right now, so if you have a favorite, please let me know.

Avatar - A character that can do elemental magic kung-fu like the characters from Avatar the Last Air Bender. Depending on the scope of game play, it might be all the elements, or just a specific element, especially since Magical Girl or Thunder God might do the same thing. One thought is to actually combine Katara and Aquaman, because honestly (ranting time), Aquaman gets a lot of crap for being a stupid hero idea, but he's a perfectly good hero in his own series where he lives underwater and there's nothing around but fish, you take him out of the water and onto land, yeah, those powers don't help much, but that's not because he's a bad super hero, he's just a fish out of water and suffered from bad or lazy writing, and I would love to give him, or I guess the idea of him, a second chance. Anyways having the ability to manipulate water and a trident and maybe summon ocean animal friends like May from GGX and I think you'd have a solid Aquatic hero. Again, exact powers depend on the game mechanics.

Catgirl Hulk - I was thinking, a character with super-strength, since there's no super man. Best bet would be like The Hulk or The Thing, but I'm not sure those are ideal for porn. But that got me thinking, catgirls are often super-strong, and you could transform into a catgirl like how The Hulk and The Thing transform (yeah, the hanna barbera "thing-ring-do-your-thing" Thing, not the Fantastic Four Thing). This would only if the characters are humans, I might do anthro super heroes instead, in which case, I could probably work with growing stone skin or hulking out.

Thunder God - Kinda like Marvel Thor, but as a Neo-Pagan, I really don't like the way they wrote that character. This thunder god would probably be something like "daughter of the thundergod", "descendant of the thundergod", "heir of the thundergod" "high priestess of the thundergod", etc. Also, a lot of lightning powers would be cool, maybe like Laxis from Fairy Tail. If the super heroes are humans, I will probably make this character black, since Africa has its share of thundergods too, it's not fair that we get to keep white mythology but throw out black mythology, and it's not fair that black super heroes are usually stuck with super strength or guns. If it's anthro super heroes, I don't want to get into equating races of people with types of animals, though I may represent her as some sort of African animal, like a cheetah or gazelle.

Sorceress - Someone like Raven and Starfire.

Amazon - Someone like Red Sonja or She-Ra, which I have always lumped into the super hero genre. Possibly some aspects of Wonder Woman. Also thinking about a wuxia kung-fu girl super hero character, I would probably do this or that, not both.

Alicorn - Like the super powered ponies from MLP, Celestia, Luna or Twilight Sparkle. Probably an anthro version but maybe something like a centaur or a straight-up pony depending on how well it mashes with the other characters.

A Captain America type patriotic hero would be fun, but a stretch and these are too many to begin with. Maybe combine it with something else.



So I mentioned it a couple times, I have not yet thought up a type of game that this would be, though the theme would easily fit into my 3 existing game engines, shooters, brawlers or point-n-click adventure. A WASD & Mouse shooter could interesting, in this case maybe they all fly around like DBZ characters. From the last idea, I was thinking that a simple Legend of Zelda style engine would probably be pretty close to certain kinds of scrolling shooters, so possibly something in between would work. There are a few kinda obscure games like that, such as Gaiapolis, VanDyke, Cybattler, Food Fight, Gain Ground, and some of the run 'n gun games like Ninja Commando and Shock Troopers.

If there are a lot of female characters, doing a lot of lesbian combinations would be a lot of work, for example, if all 11 characters have a scene with each other character, that's 45 scenes, and that's just 1 scene per combination. With 3D, I could easily have multiple characters using the same animations, but assuming I'm still using pre-renders, I would still need to include every combination for every scene in the file, and boy will Flash not like that. So the more likely solution is that you play as one character (either boy or girl at this point) having sex with each other character one at a time. Or the girls get fucked by the villain-of-the-week or in the course of resolving conflict.

I would like a game where you can play as different characters though. Maybe have something like the summoning system from Astro Vulpus, or maybe you can "equip" super girls to your own character.

Had another idea for the future that I'd like to jot down. Farming games. I haven't played any of the real farming games, but I enjoy farming in Dwarf Fortress and The Sims, I really enjoy Pokkoloh, so I feel like I could enjoy working on a farming game.

Direct problem is that a Harvest Moon style farm would require a completely different engine from the scrolling shooter, brawler and point n click engines I already have. Depending on what order I get around to all these games, I might make a Legend of Zelda engine that is somewhere between the existing engines and a Harvest Moon engine and work from there. More likely is that I would base it on the point n click engine, so instead of walking a character up to a plant and watering it, you just click a watering can icon, and click on the plant.

I have a brother who works with plants for a living, so I know that there's more to it than watering your plants and waiting. He enjoys working with plants so I want to ask him more about what sorts of game mechanics might be more realistic or more interesting than the normal fare.

I would definitely like to do a more adventurous take on farming than the normal field-in-the-country image. Here are some ideas:

Next important question is how to work in the sex? I think this will depend on the nature of the adventure. In a Wild West town, you might get to spend your farming cash at the town saloon brothel. On an alien farm, you might play as a female getting fucked by the tentacle plants you grow. An Urban Farm might operate like a normal dating sim, where farming is just your main income.

Given that any farming game will require some extra programming to get off the ground, these ideas are faaaaaaar on back burner.

Okay, well, I guess saying MLP in the last post got me thinking about it, so let's jot that down as well. I have occasionally had that "I could do better" feeling when it comes to MLP world building. To stay off of Hasbro's lawn, let's call mine "horsies" instead of what Hasbro calls them. My idea mainly has to do with more kinds of horsies.

New Types:

Hippocampus, you might think of this as a mer-horse or sea-horse. They sort of did this in one of the earlier versions of MLP.

Long-ma, means "dragon-horse" in chinese.

Nightmare,

Monoceros, a creature thought to be similar to unicorns, but generally thought of as big and dangerous. Possibly a medieval encounter with a rhino, or possibly an elasmotherium.

Vampire, I really liked flutterbat and the bat-winged stallions that pulled Luna's carriage, so some horsies with fangs and bat wings.

Fairy, a horsie with butterfly wings, or possibly dragonfly wings. I'd probably add antennae too to make them stand out more. Maybe a butterfly's drinking straw.

Iron Horsie, an metal horse, possibly like an iron golem, but probably a straight-up robot,

Reindeer, the magical kind that pulls a flying sleigh. Might have other cold/ice related powers.

Kirin, potentially on the table, but I think this is probably too close to the longma. Although potentially a more mythical replacement for reindeer.

Horsetaur, if I decide to fuck with people


The existing Pegasus and Unicorn are fine, but I don't know if I would keep Earth Ponies, since they don't seem mythological enough compared to the rest of this crew.


While making this list, I thought to myself, you know, it would probably be easier and cooler to make a list of different kinds of dragon. But my pizza just arrived, so we can look into that idea later.

Continuing to daydream about horsies, and realizing that I'm daydreaming about the actual horses from the cartoon and not the various sexy forms that people come up with. And if I were to ever decide to do this, how I do it would depend heavily on if, or to what extent, horsies do it for you. So some test graphics are in order:

GOD DAMMIT BRAIN, STOP COMING UP WITH IDEAS, THERE'S TOO MANY

Alright so, the idea here is that there's a race of tiny little fairy girls. One day, one of them discovers that sex is great, and from then on, travels around the tiny world fucking everything she can, but also trying to avoid getting eaten or maimed by various small animals or dangers. They're all super small, so she might find an earthworm and stuff it in her cooch, while a cat or owl might be a gigantic boss monster. The main plot would be to find all your friends and show them how great sex is. I'm thinking there doesn't need to be a whole lot of supernatural stuff, other than the fairies themselves, just explore a very small world.

Variations could include woodland fairies, jungle fairies (like ferngully), urban or suburban fairies. And maybe a few anthros like mouse-people or ant-people. I could see these as initial antagonists that you win over with sexual exploits.

Have you ever seen the comic book "Bondage Fairies" ? This idea sounds sufficiently similar to be worth comparing.

I have seen pictures from Bondage Fairies, actually I was trying to remember the name of the series. I don't think I've ever actually read it, since I'm not usually into bondage stuff. I do like the art style though.

So I think I might as well confirm that the next thing to do after Astro Vulpus will be the all-3D point-n-click haunted mansion adventure. After that, I will probably want to do a relatively simple beat 'em up game, so that I can use it as an example later. If the all-3D graphics goes smoothly, I will use all-3D graphics for the beat 'em up as well, since I know I will need 3D graphics to do beat 'em up animations, but I need data on whether it will be faster/easier/better to use 3D for the sex scenes as well.

I've been thinking that I should use a format similar to the mission-select lobby from Astro Vulpus. I could program in some simple maps to explore, like Fortress of Fantasm without the randomness, so each "mission" is a short dungeon to survive. Within each dungeon would be a few exit portals, so you can go back to the lobby without necessarily fighting the boss. That way there can be some leveling up, which I was always hesitant to include in previous arcadey beat 'em ups.

As for what theme, all-female Thundarr is my current favorite. Main character, Thunddine the Barbarian, will probably look not that different from Thundarr, just female. Instead of the [s]lightsaber[/s] Fabulous Sun Sword, I want to giver her a futuristic pata or katar type weapon (see below) called the Thundergod 4000. Story is that this a relic from the lost technological world, a device used by soldiers and super-police. The first dungeon you play will probably be a quest to find the Thundergod 4000, probably before someone more nefarious does. Thunddine's Thundergod 4000 will probably be able to shoot bolts of lightning or something, like Galtar's Golden Lance, to give her some better fighting abilities.

Ookla the Mok will be replaced with some sort of cat-girl, possibly something more interesting like a lion-anthro or tiger-anthro or something nonspecific. Might give her a body-builder physique to keep up the relative sizes of the characters. I need to think about it. Her weapons will be her fists and claws, so a more short-ranged character with quick hits and lunges compared to Thunddine's sword-gun and not-Ariel's magic.

Ariel the Sorceress I really have to think about, since she's ready for beat 'em up porn without any modifications but I still need to change something. Staff and a ponytail maybe. Which actually sounds like the 2002 remake teela, so maybe she'll look like that. Or I might just take everything overboard, like long hair past the ass, a slingshot bikini instead of a leotard.

I have always enjoyed the narrow scope and episodic nature of Thundarr and most other sword and sorcery things. They are not striving for some distant goal or trying to change the world, they're just living day to day in a fucked up mess of a world. So the plot of the game will be similar.

To the best of my memory, Bondage Fairies is more about xenophilia=rishathra and leather/rubber fetish stuff than actual bondage.

But it's been more than a decade since I last read it.

I did actually give Bondage Fairies a read. I think there are multiple episodes, some that are more about fucking bugs, but I read a little bit of two of them and they were centered around Pfil getting captured and raped senseless, which really takes the fun out of sex for me. So analysis remains the same, I like the art, I really can't stand the bondage stuff.

It might be interesting to do a series where everyone dresses in the sort of leather/rubber/latex stripperwear they use in Bondage Fairies, but not in a fairy world setting. I think Tinkerbell/Ferngully rag-dress is sexy enough, so it would be better combined with a setting that doesn't naturally have stripperific outfits all over the place. I think this would be best used for a comedy effect. Off the top of my head, something like Phoenix Wright: Ace Attourney, but with everyone in latex would be funny, although I doubt I could write a legal-battle plot. Might be able to handle something more like Sherlock Holmes, where the protagonist simply finds the clues and solves the case. Especially if it's like these modern ideas of a modern pugilistic action hero Sherlock Holmes, I could even make a Stripper Sherlock beat 'em up/detective hybrid.

Sigh, okay, here's the plot. The protagonist is a sort of eccentric stripper/pornstar, maybe a bit like Kato Lambert, who plays an act in which she is a female Sherlock Holmes and has a lesbian Watson. In order to nail the role, she reads a lot of mystery novels and real-life crime info. Maybe she at one time aspired to be a "real actress" but decided that she likes having sex for a living and appreciates a steady job. Eventually (or soon, in game time) bad things start happening, (maybe murder, but probably start with something smaller like theft) and our protagonist realizes that she knows what to do, that she has a chance to be a real-life Sherlock Holmes and only she can solve the mystery. Thus, sherlock and watson rampage through the streets in their stripper gear, looking for clues and solving the mystery. The issue with doing that project is that I doubt I could write a decent mystery. It would at least take some research, maybe outright copying the plots from some original mystery novels. There are a lot of classic beat 'em up games which supposedly revolve around solving a mystery or at least a crime, but usually don't amount to any substance other than "your princess is in the next castle". I could do that, but it doesn't seem like it would justify the build-up.

I don't think there's anything necessarily wrong with that ... other than maybe the current context of the other adaptations of Sherlock Holmes.
