I feel the level of math I'm at is the kind of math that I need to get by in my life. I only have high school level math partly memorized and I can figure out some of the math Mr. D put up (despite it being a joke), so it's not difficult to figure out if you know what you are doing. Heck I once considered math to be a subject I know best despite being lazy in the class (and having a habit of working on a story instead of taking notes), but I can still do the math.
It's not like math is an issue to me, since one of my other classes involve measurements and that's math right there, learning about scaling and distance, but that comes with drawing things out as well, so I can enjoy the experience more. Plus I had to learn other things as well, but it's still math and I got to be certified to know that sort of thing.
