Went to a Yule Sabot

I went to a Yule/Winter Solstice Pagan meetup, and it was quite a bit of fun, and I figured I'd share how it went with folks. Now, before I go any further, for any Pagans here who prefer to focus on one set of traditions/practices, I would like to comment that Novices of the Old Ways is an...eclectic or syncretistic group. They do try to theme their events to something central, but their main goal is what works for the group as a whole.
Anyways: It was actually rather fun, and I felt a stirring within and without me at several occasions. We had a bit where the Oak King and Holly King fought each other, with the Oak King winning. We called upon Freyya I believe to speak through a Seeress and answer questions, and over all it was quite enjoyable.
Probably the most interesting bit (and also bothersome, to me anyways) was when we were getting ready to start the first part of the ritual of casting the circle. I felt funny and looked around at everyone and everything in the room...and realized that I had seen it all exactly as it was then before. It was one of my more irritating cases of Deja Vu (or premonition as one of the others present suggested it might have been) that I've had before.
I'm looking forward to the next meetup which is supposed to be in six weeks or so.
