please help

Okay, here's the deal. A player is wanting me to GM an inuyasha rp and he wants to play ALL the main characters and an added female character. First problem is that I've never been a GM. I don't think that would work out well at all. Second, I'm pretty sure I'd have to play male characters, I'm not good with that for 1 BIG reason. And lastly, how the hell would I even start the thing?!

Most I've ever done is 2 characters per person. Not only that, but I've asked if he could start it off, only because I don't know how and I get it thrown on my that its my rp. I didn't even suggest it. And it wasn't my idea. I'm stressed beyond slamming my head into the wall over it. I can't even get a good discussion going about the darn thing. I'm begging for help! Anything!!!

i'd recommend you just drop it and move on. rp is supposed to be fun, not forced and stressful.

What wrong said, unless of course you can both agree on an RP that isn't fucking insane. Like come on, EVERY SINGLE main character AND an extra? That's WAY too much to keep track of in a 1on1

It definitely seems like way too much to handle for someone who hasn't done any GMing before, and I'm not even sure what is going to happen with all of that. He is controlling all of the males and one female? That seems like going overboard, nor they don't seem to understand that it's better to play as one character instead of the entire cast of a series. A lot less headache to boot, too! So if you are going to take this up, ask for some compromises because they need to know what you're comfortable with and discuss what you are best at.

Or, the best option, is to not take it up at all. Even if I'm working with a world of characters and I know a thing or two about large casts, but I have my limits to everything. Plus wouldn't some of them be dead and have extreme hatred to each other?
