So i recently got a file sent to me from Reaver by skype with a SRC extension. I being wary of the file downloaded it and treated it as i would source code.
Well it was not source code but some odd executable. By mistake i double clicked it but according to windows 8, windows 8 blocked it.

The point of this PSA is the fact that i just got the second file like this from Tog, so i think this is a virus that spreads by means of your skype friends list.

Yeah, I suspected this was the case. I think the likely cause is that Reaver's Skype was compromised (probably by someone sending him the file), since he said that he'd be away for a few days not long ago. When he comes back, he'll probably get his account back, but in the meantime I wouldn't advise people to accept files offered to them out of the blue on Skype.

But I mean, I wouldn't advise people to do that anyway.
