I'm trying to Challenge myself slightly and Write New Things and such. (Damn you auto-correct)
So if anyone's got a suggestion, then please do share. Always much appreaciated.

I think being a bit more precise with what you want would be helpful. How long are you willing to write; what, specifically, turns you on that you're willing to write about; possible setting or theme of the plot; etc.

Alright, first off. S.A.O stands for Sword Art Online, an anime where a certain number of People that I can't come up With from the top of my head, gets trapped inside a MMO called just that. I have written some Things, don't know whether they're good or bad, that Depends on each person, go have a read if you feel like it. Secondly, I'm not all that sure about a setting, theme and/or plot. Most of the time, I just Write, using People and Places from where I live and slightly change their personalities for the greater good. And, if I were to Write anything about the S.A.O universe, I'm sure a buddy of mine would litterally kill me. Possibly rape me to Death, I don't know what gets him going... And Third, I actually don't know much about Okami, I want a general idea of what I use and what I kind of universe Things come from.

Okami means wolf in japan but also relates to the word kami which means god but you'd say Kami sama which is very honorific. The sun goddess that brings life to all the world is depicted as a wolf and her name is Amaterasu.
If you play the game named Okami then most of the game is based on japanese lore for i believe shintou.

I got what he was saying... I think people got confused because you called Google a girl when Google is clearly a genderless ameoba.

A suggestion for you: How about gender bending your friends? you seem to have an eye for that, choose two, three, five of your friends, morph them with different animals, put some tentacles in there (Because why not) and go insane. sounds fun?

Genderbending.... already done that. With Three of my friends, and they seemed to find it interesting... Not any time soon I think... And thanks for the enlightenment about Okami, the meaning of the word Kami, and last but not least, the reason I never find any Naruto related stuff when I search for "Amaterasu"

Here's a little more: Kami has no completely accurate translation, some being "spirit", "god", or "divinity". Ōkami (大神 = Ō Kami) translates to "Great God/Spirit" and (狼 = Ōkami) means "wolf". Amaterasu's (the goddess of the sun and universe) full name is Amaterasu-ōmikami which translates to "the great august kami who shines in the heaven", and the Emperor of Japan is said to be a direct descendant of hers.

大神 = Ō Kami

Are you sure that's right? My kanji is a little rusty but that translates to "Big god" from what i remember. The first kanji is big/huge; while the second kanji is god/spirit/divinity.
The point i'm getting at is that the kun for both kanji should be Daikami no ookami.

I'll check if i'm correct but i think it's correct.
