Was looking for ones recommended by others, not just random google findings. Thats why I was asking in this thread, and the old one, before things like that were done and forced it to close... So stop following me in every thread, giving unwarranted responses/off-topic banter/trolling responses.

Meh, it's okay. The peeps there are a bit boring and normal, but most of the time, it isn't too bad.

I just got tangled up with this site-wide RP project that was really poorly constructed. When I tried to involve the user-base by upping a poll, some of them threatened that the moderators wouldn't like it, and I bailed out under pressure... I was... Young back then.

Surprise surprise, you won't find a trace of that project on the site anymore. By aristocrats for the common user? I think not.

Also, I once roleplayed with someone that suddenly left. After the person left, I received a spam email from that same person. I deleted it, and I never ever heard from that person again; Not even in form of spam. You could say that the site suffers under the 'Gaiaonline' effect, cus' they receive a lot of traffic.

i use to love Gaia online XD but thanks for the heads up on it. ill steer clear :3

I found one I am quite enjoying. They make you submit a 1,500 word writing sample before you are even considered. I am in a WWII steampunk setting as a french soldier fighting against german walking panzers.

You can go try to RP on the site, the incidents might have been isolated

God the site I used to do on has long since vanished but was 16 years ago... bring a back fond memories.

I know the feeling, a lot of the military sites I used to go to have dried up, the amount of people flooding them has finally stopped, and over time the good players are leaving. Thaedael, do you think you can point me that way? It sounds really fun.

Sadly, Thaedael has left the forum. I don't know where the one he's talking about is.
