Right, so I'm not sure where the best section to put this was, so we'll go with General because while this is something I'm making, it's not a game, and it's not LOK related. But it is a Let's play/review (kind of) Of a visual novel called Shuffle. And yes there's porn in it. It's a text only kinda thing, and it'll be one hell of a read by the time it's done. I'm also drawing my own reaction faces to go along with whatever my random comments are, instead of just using one Icon, hopping that makes things more interesting. Oooh, quite interesting. I read the first few parts - And I somehow agree with one of your statements. IF you have the time and motivation to do it, I suggest you allow branches. Heck even put choices. XP

Thanks, feedback is always a big encouragement. If I do the other paths I still plan on following one path all the way through, and then just doing the next path, then the next, instead of trying to juggle them all at once. (Not sure if that's what you were suggesting I do or not.) But yeah if I do other paths I'll mostly be showing 'ok i clicked this last time, I'll click on this, this time and here's how the scene changes/doesn't change but sets me on a different girl's course' etc.

There's a lot to get through, and all I've seen of it so far has been really good! Thus far I haven't seen any really ground-breaking commentary about the game, but you manage to mix comedy with intelligent discourse very well.

Do... do you hate me, Trunks? Are you trying to cause me to laugh to death in a very undignified way? Cause it's working. Those expressions and your comments just about kill me. Especially the brick. And cows and ducks. And the hangover. And I'm just rambling now. My only regret is I started reading them in school (it was up to Part 4 when I last read), so I almost had a crowd witness my unsightly demise. I'll be reading from home from here on out. Keep up the good work... even if it is going to be the death of me.

Haha, I'm glad the brick jokes are going over well. Yeah do read them at home because you're about at the part where some NSFW images pop up on occasion.

I'm on part 6, and I'm loving it so far. Your incredulity is great in a dating sim, as the amount of absurdity in the game combined with your faces and comments make for a great experience.

It's also much more of a read than I expected, but well worth the time.

Finally, I decided on a fan club for Xander: Xylogenic, Xanthophthalmic Xander. This means foreign (sadly as in extra-cellular, not international), dry-eyed Xander. Sounds kind of silly, but who can say no to XXX?

About the fan club thing, notice how the first two parts of all the fan clubs just repeat the same word, so you only need one good X word. Asa doesn't have one IN the game, but there are real world counterpart fan clubs. I think her's was 'Ai-Ai-Asa-sempai' or something like that. I'm scared of what primula's might be.

Anyways there's going to be some lag in updates, I'm going to be at one of my conventions for a few days, so just a fair warning. I'll try and get something up before I leave.

Is this game supposed to guilt-trip you into doing the Kaede path first? I feel like it is.

Also, I find it kind of disturbing how with no exceptions the main character is far and away more dense than the player. Maybe if there were a galge with AI that reacted to what you said, it could lead to quite interesting gameplay. As it is now, I feel like there are too many moments when the player is face-palming on account of their character.

Anyway, keep it up!

Ok, so I just posted the last part of Asa's path a few minutes ago. Now that one girl's path is fully completed, I'd love to hear some feedback from you guys. Who kept up with the project, what did you like the most, any suggestions you'd make. And if you lost interest, tell me why, I don't mind.

I was following it up until day 13 or so, then I stopped checking it daily. I'll give you in-depth feedback once I've read it all.

Hey so who remembers this project? Yeah I didn't think so. Well it's not dead. I asked the topic to be unlocked with a bit of an update, The Nerine path is now also finished. Also for anyone afraid Nerine's path would also be like 40 something parts, it's not, it's closer to half that.

See if you toughed the reading out through all of Asa's path, then saw what I did on Nerine's you see I'm not doing every day again if it was already covered once. I just sum up what days occurred that are being skipped over and what happened on those days as a reminder. I'm also showing how some days vary a bit. For example the first day at the pool, or the beach day play out a little differently depending on who you go after.

Happy reading, I hope you all still get a few laughs, although I didn't find my parts as funny this time. I'll try to fix that on the next girl's path. Sia is next.

Edit: Almost forgot, I'm going to be working on adding some stuff to my youtube page to act as a navigation bar of sorts, post a vid with a pic and some music, and annotations that link to each part. It'll be a hell of a lot easier than trying to scroll through my archives on tumblr all the time. Not sure when I'll have it up though.

Okay, got Sia's path going. Hopefully I don't end up putting it off for several months.
