I used to be an insommiac, I would stay awake for three days at a time, and in some ways it was not at all like being drunk.

I get really gitty when i'm tired. My sense of humor goes out the drain in a bad way. I've also been told that i'd that people think i'd be a gitty drunk.

Also, is my life so boring to force me to troll this thread?

My brain would partially shut off, hallucinate? No. Mistake every shape for something else... yes. I would read for hours, lie in bed for hours staring at the ceiling for hours, listen to music for hours. Now I sleep, and I fucking love it, and never understood how I got by without it for the last 11 years.

Without sleep, I just shut down.

Drunk? No, actually, I get surprisingly hyper the day after no sleep, then crash that night and sleep a good 12 hours. Works well enough for me.

I'm kinda the same, if I don't sleep enough I get hyper, but if I sleep alot i get really calm.

After 24 hours awake, I lose all sense of caring what the hell happens around me, which is similar to being drunk. To steal a hilarious but true statement; "DUDE YOUR CARS ON FIRE!"
me with sleep "HOLY SHIT HOW?!"
me without sleep "good, fuck my car."

Somewhat, because the less sleep I get the more hyper I am.
