Is there any way to enable her as squad member for female shep? I know she is supposed to be the male shep equivalent of Keidan. But i saw this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pmnb2j73s7E which is fem shep gameplay with ashley

Unless you're playing on the PC or 360 with a save import all the way from the first Mass Effect or playing the PS3 version with the Interactive Prologue in Mass Effect 2, no. Ashley will be auto-dead if you're femshep and none of those conditions are fulfilled.

Isnt it possible to mess around with the save file ? To make the game think she is alive?

play mass effect one, save her and kill kaiden. load that save file :3

If you want to play with the save file, be my guest. Unless you know what you're doing (and I sure don't), I don't think it ends well. Better off starting from the beginning
