Note: I don't know if this is related to this board (or even in this forum). I'm referring to "Sakyubasu no tatakai I". So feel free to move this post to wherever you think it belongs.

My point is simple, I think that there's a big problem with this game.

This game is mostly a sex game, yes, it features roleplaying and that is fine. But there's literally thousands of roleplaying games way better than this but without any h content.

The aim of this sort of games is this:
-Make harder to players to enjoy the sex scenes so they'll enjoy them more
and
-Make players spend more time in the game so the creator (Gorepete) has some appreciation from the players and more income from ads (preventing those damned game-destroying premium features)


Sakyubasu no Tatakai I is very hard. And I mean VERY HARD. That is, that most players won't even FINISH the game and ENJOY ALL THE SCENES just because they can't finish the game.

So, although Sakyubasu no Tatakai I definitely makes their sex scenes more appealing because of the difficulty; it restricts them to the most hardcore or stubborn players.

You see the problem? This is not a GAME, this is a SEX GAME, even more, this is the BEST DAMNED SEX GAME THAT I'VE EVER PLAYED. And most players won't enjoy all its sexual content just because is TOO DAMN HARD.


So, I want to ask for difficulty modes, like Easy (really easy I mean), Normal and Hard (Basically the game as it is but with less hp or something).

If not, at least make it EASIER to cheat because when a player wants to cheat is not because he is an IDIOT who wants to SPOIL your game by enjoying only the best parts and skipping your well made plot-scenes and fights. Maybe he just wants to ENJOY completely YOUR DAMNED GOOD GAME DAMMIT!!!


So, please change your "all cheaters to hell" policy because no matter how good is the roleplaying part, the sex part is the only one that makes the game worth; so let soft players and "cheaters" to finish the game with an easy mode and let hardcore players to beat the game with a hard mode.

If you don't like the game, don't play it. There are guides on how to beat the game, hell you can beat it pretty fast if you notice all the patterns he uses.

At the risk of sounding like an old man, I believe this is the problem with gamers nowadays: They want their rewards easy. If you REALLY want your shit, you should have to work for it, and that means figuring shit out and adapting your game in order to beat it. I agree with Thae in that there are patterns that'll help you beat this real quick, so it's more a matter of actually using your head (The one with your brain in it, not your dick head) instead of "Durr, I'mma piledrive through it. WHY DIDN'T THROWING MYSELF AT IT WORK!?". I would gladly spend 30 hours playing for 5 minutes worth of sex scenes if I had to. Thankfully, I don't have to because this doesn't take anywhere near 30 hours.

Spend 5 minutes killing enemies.

Empower, jump, throw your sword, dash, dash, dash.

I agree, I know about that effect. This is a matter of quality.

Difficulty-->Damned hard-->If there aren't many games, at least you should spend hours and hours playing them

Now that you know the point, please, don't see those games of your youth like the best games ever. They were good, these are better, the ones in the future will be much much better.
If you're accustomed to damned hard games, good for you, play in hardcore.
If you're accustomed to easy games like most of us, good for you, play in easy.

I'd tend to disagree, Useraro. In 2012, the difficulty of mainstream games is ridiculously easy compared to the 1990s, but the Indie games have vastly varying difficulty.

I'm a fan of Indie games because they dare to do different things, such as with Gorepete and this game, and also the rest of the games in this forum. We're different because we dare to believe that porn games don't have to be mindless or awful; the people in this forum have made games that are tough, games with good stories, and games that are all around good. Don't forget it!

With all of the awesome things happening in this forum, I can't help but be optimistic for the future.

Regardless, what he doesn't realize is that it takes as much work as it does, and he is already onto a sequel. Let idiots be idiots.

Yes, maybe I'm abusing of the tab lock. Anyway, the point is that not every user knows how to use a flash decompiler.

Also, it's not as easy as that. If you try to edit the game with a .sol editor, the game gets corrupted.

I don't mean just that it don't works, it is made in purpose. If you change the hp from 330 to 1000000 or something you get the game corrupted. And that's impossible unless it is made in purpose.

So, if the game don't lets you play in easy mode, at least the game should let you hack it. But not.

If you can't handle the difficulty, that's not Gore's fault. He's making a game that's difficult enough that it feels rewarding when you win. I didn't have much trouble with it, except for the classic "my computer's input loop won't respond", but that's not too big a deal.

The problem here isn't with Gorepete, it's with you. You think that "fair" means that everyone gets to see the sex scenes. That's not true. "Fair" means that people have to put in effort to get reward.

If you think it's too hard, if you think that there needs to be an easy mode, go for it. Make an easy mode. You have the power. Gorepete shouldn't have to delay a new and exciting game development to put easy mode in for those who either can't or won't put in the effort required to 100% the game. The very people complaining should be the ones who do so.

OK. Forget "indie games", let's just say "games". The quantity of games has increased from maybe some hundreds in 1990 to thousands and thousands and thousands in 2012.

Let's forget that I said "indie" in the future so nobody will misunderstand it again.

And about Gorepete's style, I agree. Sex games are usually very bad in anything but the sex content, but at least they let every player to enjoy all the sex scenes freely. I think that there's a middle point in this.

I mean, a game that is more than sex, but that is easy enough for players to beat it. At least in easy mode.
