Nero Express 6 not working.

Postby Reapergod36 » Fri Aug 24, 2012 10:31 pm

I try to play .avi files and it just shows a black screen. The files work on my dad's which has the same Nero Express 6. Also if I try to cut the file. Nero Express 6 crashes with the standard send report to microsoft bullcrap. Personally I think its a virus, malware, trojan, worm etc. and my virus (etc.) software is out of date. Because i'm poor as shit. So I am scanning as I type this. But it probably won't find it. Can anyone help me with this problem. I've tried reinstalling and installing Nero Express 6 and don't want to have to wipe my computer. Restarting the computer hasn't helped. Running the norton windoctor doesn't help either.

Media Player Classic's a pretty good free video player too. I use VLC more often, but everyone like's options. And because my brother would kill me if I didn't at least mention it, there's also the BS Player. I don't like it much, but he swears by it.

It's named BS! Nothing more to say.

I use VLC, Real, Windows media player, Sony Vegas 9 HD, and... no waits, that's it.

VLC will play nearly every type of file extension but some people complain about video quality. It's still worth keep around in case of file corruption... you know, when a video has a byte out of place so normal programs throw hissy fits.

Real was nice since i had a stack of home made DVD that i couldn't fast forward in and that was the only program that worked.

Windows i just have around and some times use.

Sony Vegas i use for editing programs and it's going to cost you about $30 if they still sell it.
