This idea popped in my head not 45 seconds ago. Ive been apart, well lurker mostly, of this website for nearly 3 years. I think its finally time we established a yearly celebration in the lok teams name!

annual, flash lok celebration, community give back

user and flash developer support ( prawnz miming )

prizes, or just bragging rights.... Different color name tag? private forum? Steam games and xcom

I`m surprised no one has posted an Idea about this before this is an awesome Idea I`ll get the prawnz :3

Im thinking it would be a day for flash developers to have some sort of contest. Other than bragging rights the lok team would have to come up with prizes if we were to have them. It could also be a good time for donating if we were to incorporate it

Great idea KIX! These forums are some of the better run ones that ive seen in awhile. Why not have a celebratory event for everyone? Theyve been working hard on this for how long? If this goes thru youve got my support! (apparently i CAN use my 3DS to post. pretty cool if you ask me!)

Around this date and time give or take a day and some time between when the entity of Renara was born from the confines of this forum. The anniversary has already passed for this year, a small celebration was had, a contest given, and free cake shipped around the world to vip members in the secret section of the forum.

Ya, the secret agent section, where people like me note down who to eliminate with a stealth-ed banhammer >:3. I think it is a good idea though, the whole contest thing, even if it is something simple. Even to the point where if I have money around january next year I will gladly put up steam games as a reward.

Man, I fucking love those games, they never ever ever get old. Too bad the latest ones sucked major cock'n'balls. I was thinking of like the cool indy packs, the ones that cost only a little bit of money but tend to bring a lot of enjoyment.

The rough amount for a indy packs is 5$ per pack (Don't know about steam packs.) but a steam version of xcom UFO (the first and best) is 5$ with Xcom TFTD(also great since it uses the same engine but maps are to big.) for another 5$. Each Xcom game is 5$ but there is a pack for all the publicly released games for 15$ on steam which is 5 games.

Xcom Terror from the deep
Xcom 3
Xcom interceptor (theres a bug with drones but there has been released a update that might be fan done to fix it.)
Xcom enforced (Yes the name states how bad this game is. I played better kid games.)

Also there are 2 remakes being made
Xcom: by 2k Bastards!
Xcom: Enemy Unknown by Fraxis games with the owner sid meier helping and proving they are gods of gaming yet again.

The remakes aren't in the packages because they aren't out yet and stay away from the 2k one, it looks like a cheap rip off for reason to make a FPS.

Very exciting. I'd join in the festivities if they happened.

Yeah same I signed up the first year before Christmas, this forum feels like its been here for a decade.
