I am not a brony, nor do I care for those who are. However in the interest of being a tolerant moderator, and to continue to foster a welcoming community, I am restarting the brony thread. If you do not like bronies, that is fine, go somewhere else, don't even bother posting in here. If you are a brony, post in here, do your brony things, have your friendships and smiles. Keep ALL MLP stuff in here, I am sick of pruning other threads. I will not tolerate attacks on bronies by haters, nor will I tolerate brony attacks on haters. If you have nothing nice to post, don't post it at all. Everyone could learn a thing about friendship from this show ironically.

I don't get it, why is MLP isolated to one thread, while every other entertainment (Mario, Star Trek, and Minecraft for example) pretty much free to post anywhere? Is it to prevent brony/anti-brony wars?

Probably because despite the fact we promote love and tolerance we cuase the greatest arguements here XD

I log on and three things get flagged always;
1: Spam posts a moderator accidentally approved.
2: Bronies
3: Smackman/Suraru/That_One_Guy/Trunks, in no particular order.

Also I rather have all the pony talk in one thread, as opposed to how it is now, where I can't read two threads in a row without a pony reference. Period. So in an effort to stop fights, promote love and friendship and equality, here is a thread.

I've got another reason. For the only one of those three you mentioned that's had any serious amount of material posted about it (Minecraft), the overwhelming majority of the posts have gone into one thread and one thread alone. As a forum, we're about talking, but MLP:FIM image macros aren't talking.

I still think they work in the "Image wars" thread, though.

I really hate people that do that, if you have a problem with me, tell me what it is so I can stop, or we can come to a compromise. It really makes things worse when you just go reporting shit, for me and for mods.
The only exception to my advice above, is for assholes, and I have not posting anything directly insulting anyone. Not even smackman, I just told him 'what he was doing was wrong because of this', not insulting him back for insulting bronies.

Well, depending on your definition of "resign". If you mean resign as leave the forums, then I'd be a sad panda. If you mean resign as in give up being a mod, then I am skeptical about the number of mods, but supportive of your decision.

Just consider it your embassy to the LoK forums. I'm pretty sure the if flame wars didn't happen every time you guys posted an MLP oriented thing then Thaedael would not have to semi-isolate you in this thread. We realize it's not always your fault and I actually approve of your message but... life's not fair unfortunately. I'm sure if we get invaded by Trekkies and it starts causing problems then he would probably do the same thing there too.

Downloaded 'Desktop Ponies" for my computer.
I activated all of them, and my computer blew up. Btw, those are all fully animated sprites, they move, talk (with popups) and have at least 10 animations each....

no wonder your computer blew up it couldnt handle that level of awesome XD

The worst part is, I keep trying to remove them, but it keeps resting to all ponies after I save and exit the settings window D:

I did, I deleted the files, but it kept running.

Luckily task manager saved the day!

You deleted the files and they where still there?... That doesn't sound good...

Ya, its because the programs were still open and using the RAM.
