Saw it the night it came out,
I have a whole mouthful to say about it, I'll post it when I have easy access to facebook (so I can copy pasta).

Personally i only found out about this today and well sorta got chased away by a video that basically said agree with it or else your a sick human being.

From what i understand this would be true but I hate some one that dare say they are right just because they are right. Anyways plan to watch it later when i'm at home.

Wow, after 1 day, the views are now up to 56.6 million!

Their are several claims that Kony has been dead for 6 years and the LRA has fallen from power 9 years ago. I am still trying to confirm this but try not to believe everything you hear. I believe even Anonymous has denounced the video but I'm not completely sure they weren't arrested for unlawfully hacking into several government sites so that might just be a counter cover-up by the government. the problem with digital media is that it is so easy to make fakes and scams so I'm going to be searching around to see whether or not it is a scam. Check youtube dates for what looks like legit videos and make sure they wouldn't be influenced by propaganda so that they aren't just copy cats. I'm probably going to look for things posted about Kony before this was brought up in 2012/2011. even if the videos might have been real at one time there is a possibility that they were withheld and then later edited to be used as a scam.

P.S. I still think Kony's a bastard dead or alive but I'm not about to let soft words sway me without better facts.

(possibly more to come, please note the dates on each source which is usually at the top. Every thing that is present tense in the artical was BELIEVED true at THAT time and does not show present tense for THIS time)

From what a large amount of people are saying, Kony might still be at large (at least until after 2010) but has been greatly diminished in power with various people hunting him down.
Needless to say, the KONY2012 video is looking very shady at the moment.

Why the f*** didn't they do anything about it? Anyways the strange thing about this Kony video is I am likely one of those logical people/zombies that would support it if you got me to watch it. Personally i didn't after people started trying to force me to watch.

1. Posting his name somewhere is literally the least you can do.
2. Apparently the charity or w/e accepting donations keeps so much of the money that its ridiculous.
3. Kony might be dead already, whats the point of having this shit?

So its just like advertising a scam to your friends basically. I did an interview for a "job" that was like that... thought it was a legit job but it turns out its just selling shit to your friends that they dont need. just walked out of the interview and told them to fuck off

Saying they keep most doesn't really tell us anything. How much is most so i can at least make a if statement in a computer.

This is wrong to some degree. Since it's a no-profit charity, it has an open bank account. This means you can see every payment made by them. The other funds are used to further their goal of ending Kony, by paying popular peeps or the like to support their cause, vans to transport wares, campaigns, etc.

But the 2012 Kony has one major flaw; It supports one rotten side out of two equally rotten sides. The government is known to do the same as the rebels; Child soldiers is one of those things. Not only that, but this problem is only one out of many alike in Africa. Finally, it's a quite violent solution too; A lot of children are going to die. This can be seen as a necessary sacrifice, of course.

So it doesn't really end the problem. Just one small part of the problem.

money better spent feeding some children or something... i think at least 80% of the proceeds go where theyre supposed to with some of these christian charities that feed kids in africa. although im not sure if the other 20% is lining someones pockets or if they just dont include costs of ads etc to the 80%

I think this is one of those "they lied about that, they could be lying about this" Also, they don't like showing this but they are legally known as Invisible Children Inc. I'd have to check but the Inc. part doesn't mean "charity". Name a few Inc. businesses that are full blown charities because I can't think of any.

If it were me, I would apply fire to the base of the problem. Fire is good at removing problems like this. Apply fire to the rebel and goverment leaders, and then no-one will be exploiting child soldiers except the child soldiers themselves
