This has come up in the RP forum (mostly because of me), so I figured it needs a topic of it's own.

The idea of a meet-up has been aired. Location is up for debate. It was just put forward that, at some point, people from here might like to actually get together and get to know each other in person, rather than as their avatar.

This thread is for thaughts on that subject.

Oh, I wasn't intending it to be a "This is happening next month, so there!" kind of thing. Besides, I'd have to get a passport forst in order to legally leave England, if it was decided it would be going head, and in a different country to the one I am in

Anyways i don't think it works like that. Getting Emancipated is basically saying your under the age of a adult but you are able to take care of your self as if you were one.
I believe having a roof over your head and a job for 6 months are required. (this might be really old like 20 years ago information.)
But from the sounds of it the fact he is adult isn't being taken in to account which is why i say it's a bull shit law.

I believe what is happening is the state or government is trying to make sure foster care kids aren't getting in to a life of crime.
