What's your favorite music from a video game? It could be anything - the final boss theme, the credit music, or just the intro music. Mine's "Wanting to find the Truth" from Ace Attorney Investigations 2.

I'm particularly fond of the musical score from Zork Nemesis; it's what I listen to a lot while I'm working as it's good ambient music, though quite haunting, as anything too noisy and/or with words tends to distract me

Recently I'm really liking the score from Batman: Arkham City, note; the score not the soundtrack, as the soundtrack is just vaguely relevant or badly mixed songs cashing in on the game, it's not worth getting.

Dungeon siege has some of the best music ever. And the strange this is that it fits perfectly with the game at times for combat.
Also Dungeon siege 1 is worth picking up if you ever find it.
Dungeon siege 2 is okay but it's not on par with dungeon siege.
Dungeon siege 3 is a piece of crap made by square soft which is quite strange considering the company we're talking about here.

First one is pure epicness, the second one could be used in any James Bond movie. MGS basically was the first series, that ever got to me. And I still haven't been able to play MGS4 because of the missing PS3.

Yeah, I like it pretty much, which results in the fact of me being a history student. For me, it's up on one level with MGS, as the series has created a whole universe in the last 4 years and did a damn good job at that as well. I'm startled on how true to the history books some of the events, that are shown in the game, are, with Assassin's Creed 2 doing the best job on that. The assassination attempt on Lorenzo de Medici through the Pazzi family is described just like that in the sources from that time, only of course without an Ezio Auditore coming in for the rescue. I also like, how the fill up the gaps history has left us, i.e. Leonardo da Vinci never finishing a painting (true fact) because he was too busy helping the assassins, or how they bring modern perceptions of historic events or things into the game, i.e. Leonardo's comment on the Mona Lisa in AC Brotherhood ("badly drawn, the smile overdone and meaningless") is a common view amongst art historians today.

Yeah, I always thought it was interesting that the best music from that series is from the EARLIER games where they didn't really have the technology. The remixes and stuff you hear like this from Dissidia really show off how amazing their composers were back in the old days of nintendo. I think One Winged Angel was like the last really good song to come from the series. And even then because OWA is like the staple end boss/villain music from the series. Nothing since 7 has really impressed me.
