I hate halloween, who's with me?

I like Halloween. I don't celebrate it becouse I am not from US but I like the decorations and the art that hits the internet in that time of year. Jack-o-laterns, skeletons and scary monters are all things I quite enjoy. (one of my most fav. movies is "The Nightmare Before Christmas" )

I honestly dislike Halloween, mainly because I think it's a way for children to get free candy as they're spoiled enough already. No offense to anyone who does it.

Saw a person my age doing halloween, which is 23 years old. Still, I enjoy eating the leftover candy in our bowl that we hand out.

I'm abivalent toward it's existence. I don't like it, I don't dislike it. I would probably go more down the 'dislike' track if people actually came to our house, but they don't. I think people know we don't do squat for it. Same with carollers

Lol I don't get why any of you would actually hate it. Pretty sure the majority of you have gone trick-or-treating as kids. I haven't gone since probably middle school. The only people that go past that age probably do pranks, which is always fun.

Groundhog day is amazing. Best time of the year; no idea what you're talking about.

Like all holidays it's grossly over-comercialised; me and my friends usually organise big fancy dress parties anyway, Halloween just happens to be a convenient time for one most years. I kind of like the style of it all, but it's just often way too tacky.

To me its kinda a "meh"
I like seeing all te neat costumes. I was forced to stop "trick or treating" the holoween after i turned 13. It fucking sucked because ALL my friends went on doing it untill they where at least 15, and i do meen all.
Now i just enjoy sitting out, handing out candy, then enjoying a few dozen mini boxes of "Dots" man i fucking love Dots...

I enjoy halloween it's a bit of harmless fun as for giving children free sweets... just don't give it them if that's what bugs you.

It's not really something you can hate really. if you don't care about it you don't do anything for it... To hate it you'd need to have an actual reason beyond "I dislike kids wanting free candy" when i'm positive the only reason to hate it is because you are too old to go trick or treatying or weren't allowed to do it as kids so ended up resenting the holiday. I personally only give out candy to those that have at least put some sort of effort in, besides it's there for fun.

The only thing I hate about Halloween is having to answer the door, when I could be dueling my friend! (With cards, not guns). Last Halloween, I had to answer the door 99% of the time.

I'm not a huge fan of it...I wouldn't say I hate it, I guess I'm indifferent to it...I feel like it's just been too watered down over the ages...It used to be a night of terror and mischief...now it's just a night of spoiled brats (No kids, you're not Edward from Twilight, now go away before you get a butterfinger in your eye) and half naked girls...which is cool, until the half naked 13 year old girls come around >.<' (If you're not at the VERY least 18, cover your ass)
