The quest for safe porn

Postby haloman » Wed Aug 17, 2011 3:44 am

Lets face it, we have all been there. your watchin porn, fapping, just watching, enjoying your lesbians, or wathcing a girl being pounded... But anyway... *cough* A while later, you get allthese pop ups, yourpagees close by themselves, your shit wont work, ect. You then realize you have... A VIRUS. From the porn? Possibly...

This thread is all about finding SAFE, FREE,"GOOD" porn websites, ABSOLUTLY NO virus threats, yaddda yada, and of coarse no downloads. So... Shall we begin our quest?

Free porn tends to be subsidized by advertisements, advertisements tend to have viruses. Either pay for porn or invest in anti-virus software, but if you had the money in the first place neither of these would apply to you anyway since you wouldn't be looking for free porn. That being said just look up a trusted list or go to websites friends recommend that are smart.

So i see... Well i do believe nobody clicks those advertisements. Also, clarify this for me: Is it possible to get a virus JUST by visiting a page/website?

So i've been using tube8 and pornhub because they had the best porn and player i could find. They are either partnered or are own by the same people.
Anyways pornhub pops up with a livepornhub window but I haven't gotten any Viruses or warnings.
no clue about tube8 anymore. I think it also has a popup but can't be sure. Last time i went on i got no viruses or warnings.

I've done a full disk scan since being at both sites not to long ago, like days.

The only reason why i go to either is because they are the only ones with porn and a professional look from what i've seen.

There are a bunch of websites with popup(s). The most common one i have seen is "live jasmine" Ive seen it on xvideos, funny-games (the adult section), and i think a few others

I must recommend adblock for Google Chrome, it blocks the vast majority of adverts, even the ones on youtube videos, although somehow the live Jasmine ad gets through it, and the one is everywhere :x

You can get adblock as plugins for most browsers these days, if you prefer not to use Chrome (though it is a good browser). All major browsers are getting rapidly better at protecting against unwanted files, but it's still always a possibility for them to sneak through due to unusual exploits and such, so no matter how remote a chance it seems, anti-virus is a must, even a free one. Microsoft Security Essentials is a very lightweight one, but I've never really put it through its paces, though it does get pretty good reviews.

http://myfreepaysite.com is one of the better sites that I've encountered as it has access to a free video player that has various full-length movies; difficult to sift through if you're looking for anything too specific, but worth trying anyway.
If you have very specific interests, then you should really subscribe to a pay-site that caters to it, to encourage them to keep making it!

All that said, I've mostly lost interest in porn videos, as far too many are focused more on being as dirty and nasty as possible with lots of posing, gimmicks or just half an hour of a man's arse going forward and backward with rubbish sound, rather than being properly sexy. For this reason I prefer well drawn artwork (furry for me :)) to videos or photos; not trying to sound snobbish, especially considering it's about porn, I just think porn videos are pretty rubbish these days.

If you use incognito/in private/etc, and you dont download nothing, you cant get a virus. Flash isn´t also able to contain virus. And the best navigator is chrome, it only blocks pop-up, but it block most of them

1. If you google whatever your fetish is, plus the word "tgp" (eg. "teen tgp", "furry tgp", "hentai tgp", "interracial tgp", "bdsm tgp"), usually the top few links will be safe, because they're frequently used. If they had viruses, people would stop using them, and they'd drop in rankings. And anything affiliated with a well-known producer, like Kink.com, or Naughty America, or Russian Mistress, is safe. The more corporate you get, the safer you get, since corporations want to keep their customers. The more mainstream but less corporate you get, the more likely you are to find viruses, since that's the easy target demographic for independent scammers ("HURR, IMA GOOGLE FER PUSSIES N TITS, YO!"). Also, the more obscure you get (kiddie porn, beastiality, etc), the more likely you'll find viruses, since you're underground and have no community backup (seeing as it's sick shit anyways and you should kill yourself for looking at it).

2. To be completely safe, disable scripting and cookies on your browser. It's probably best if you use a different browser to view porn than you do for regular surfing. That way, your porn browser has max security while your regular browser has max convenience. I like to use Firefox for porn (with the setting to auto-delete history, of course), and Chrome for regular surfing, since Chrome keeps its tabs in separate processes so one misbehaving tab won't bog down the rest of them.

3. I got a virus once, but not from porn. It was embedded in a video game download. I switched from windows to linux after that happened (Ubuntu to be specific). Not that linux is immune to viruses, but you have two things working to your advantage. First, most viruses are made specifically for windows, since it's more popular. Second, on linux you don't by default have admin rights the way you do on windows, so if something needs to modify your system or install a daemon, it will prompt you for an admin password (as part of a sudo command - Ubuntu encrypts the superuser password, but allows you to use your personal password to run sudo commands, assuming you're not an idiot and won't authorize a penis enlargement e-mail to install a bunch of shit). All you have to do to deny a virus in linux is recognize that you don't want something modified, and cancel the prompt. The downside is that linux sucks for gaming, so you're probably best off having two separate computers - one powerful windows machine for playing games, and a cheap linux machine for browsing porn. There's also a windows emulator for linux (WINE), so if you're not sure about something you downloaded, you can run it there first to take the fangs off it. It's not good for gaming, for performance reasons, but it's handy if you want to play one of those RPGMaker hentai games you got off some sketchy jap site, or from MP/RS/whatever.
