Hang on a sec. You make it sound like the PEOPLE are interesting. HAHAHAH. No, the thing that I find interesting about the members, are that we're all members of a forum originating from a porn game. If you look at this from an outsiders view, we're freaks who are interested in nothing more than remaking the thing that brought us all together. LOK. The fact that I'm saying this is because I'm a member, and I love the forums, and occasionally think about how weird it is that we've all been thrown together here.

Not calling you guys freaks or anything, but we're all classified as weird in normal society. Here, it's normal to be gay, bi, lesbian or have strange fetishes. It was sex that brought us here, and sex that keeps the forum alive. Just remember that kids. But also yeah, now that I think about it we're all interesting because of our various reasons for remaining on the forums. :3

Hi, I guess I should introduce myself. I'm Faerie, or at least that's what I've chosen to go by on this site. I like roleplaying, hentai, and other weird shit like that, so this site seemed pretty appropriate. I hope to have alot of fun here and meet alot of cool and interesting people.

Hehe, I disagree.

LOK has all of the basic elements that compose any solid forum. The subject matter may be a little different, but I hardly find 18+ content to be "outlandish" as far as the whole of the internet goes. And really, given how many people use the internet, is there really a common reference for what is "normal" to discuss? True, we have some interesting personalities, but what kind of site doesn't? Everyone here is still ultimately just a normal person. It is not like there aren't other sites on the internet quite like LOK. There is plenty of platonic content and chatter too in General and beyond, so don't mistake yourself into believing is all 18+ content 24/7. Many of the roleplays I am on in the RP board aren't explicitly focused on sex.

Although I still think LOK is one-of-a-kind.

I challenge you on that. It may be because I grew up 30 minutes from San Francisco in a liberal town, but I find gays, bisexuals, and lesbians to be pretty commonplace. As well, sex is something everyone shares, so it's simply something that's "taboo" in society.

I think this forum has evolved from when it was simply about LoK to now. At this point it's not a forum dedicated to LoK, it's a forum where forum members produce games and other content that they share with each other.

Not trying to paint you in a bad light, but I don't think your points are quite on the mark.

Well I've never met anyone who openly claims to be gay, les or bi, so excuse me if I find so many people like that in the forum a bit different from what I'm used to. But of course the forum and forums like it would attract people who have more outgoing sexual desires, it started off as a forum for a porn game! And since it has obviously evolved beyond that, good for the forum and for the members too! But honestly, if you're a member of the forum, you were brought here from sex, and sex is still an integral part of the forum, even if it isn't the sole reason for being here.

I didn't come here for the 18+ content per se. I came here for the roleplaying, personally.

Just as Zeus said, the site is so much more than just the 18+ content so it's a little off the mark to assume that everyone is here for such. I have visited several sites similar to LOK in the past and many of them had lots of activity concentrated in the more platonic areas of the site. Say... discussing video games, or television, because those are things that people will debate those things anywhere. LOK is no exception.

I personally came here after hearing about LOK from ULMF, and also do stay here for the roleplaying, I just can't really think of how anyone could come to a forum like this from something that isn't 18+.

I understand your point. The vast majority of the members on this forum came here for the 18+ content, but there are certainly a few links from SFW sites.
