UUAAGH! WTF! What happened to peace and tolerance? I found it weird that a little girl's TV show cause this much controversy but there is a MARKET for this shit? PEDOBEAR WOULD BE FREAKED OUT MAN! I try to accept it as people just gathering under a message of acceptance and peace but I would be lying if I didn't say that this made me lose a lot of faith in just how innocent the brony community is.

Pedo Bear is too busy hanging out with the Carebears. But yeah. Grown men can take prety much any kids tv show and put a spin on it, making it less.... wholesome. I mean, I grew up with the G1 transformers. I thaught it was fantastic, and still watch episodes from time to time (early stuff, not the later ones). But even I can see how easy it would be to see gay undertones in it, what with it essentially being about two groups of large male robots, living together in confined spaces. Hell, I was on an RP board for Transformers at one point which started off good, but degenerated into people making characters for the sole purpose of screwing other people's characters (people made both males and females)

But yeah. Like all cherished childhood memories, the events of your childhood should be kept seperate from the predations of adulthood. Otherwise you get things like fanfics about pony sex springing up.
