Hey what ever happened to playshapes anyway? I've never seen him on the forums and he isn't mentioned anywhere unless it has something to do with an outdated version of his games or the original ideas behind them so I don't think he took up other projects (at least not under that user name). The guy who is responsible for the idea that created this forum and helped develop what it started as, is no where to be found! Where is this prodigal internet champion?

PlayShape had little or nothing to do with the forum. When Legend of Krystal came out he set a challenge to the internet. He basically released his game as open source and wanted to see what the internet could do with it.
Ren accepted the challenge and made this forum using a website he wasnt using. To my knowledge PlayShape doesn't even have a account here.

I don't see myself as a furry because I don't really go looking for it anymore. I think it was a phase that while I still find pictures (Like lovely Renamon) still sexy.
So in even shorter, I like furry, but I don't look for it. Merp.

My first furry infatuation was probably Wendy O. Koopa.
This is because I liked the way she was portrayed in the Nintendo Adventure Book "Koopa Capers"
This was long before the derpy Mario 3 cartoon came out, so I could imagine her with a deep and interesting personality.

The first furry character I liked in a sexual way was Sally Acorn from Sonic.
I didn't need fan art to convince me. She already looked very sexy the way she was drawn.
A couple others soon followed.
There was Velvet from some books by Mercer Mayer, titled "LC and the Critter Kids".
What made her appealing to me was her shy yet inviting expression.

And there was also Foxy Roxy from the SNES game, Brutal: Paws of Fury, who I liked for obvious reasons.

I'm chances are odd on this subject matter.

I was first 'drawn' towards furry material more thanks to 'The Secret of NIM', 'Bagi: the Monster of Mighty Nature', and a few other things as it was stuff that my mother was into at the time ( as she was a big importer when she had cash ). I didn't start becoming the outright perv I am today thought till around 1997 or so with Vampire Savior/Darkstalkers 3 and Q-Bee, being my first real 'click' on sexual material. I don't think you can call a half human/half bee girl ( more human with bug features then bug with human features ) a 'furry', but she was 'odd', not of the norm, and it made me seek out stuff more like her. From there you got say Rouge from Sonic Adventure 2 ( Bouching boobs! ), Alice the Rabbit, and Jenny the Bat from Bloody Roar 2, Sally from the Sonic Comics, and then of all things Gatomon from digimon ( yet I did have a thing for Mimi too... ).

My first furry was the High Tail Hall game. It got me hooked on them, about three years ago. Second Life also helped me explore much more into furrys than I would have on my own.

Well, I've always had a great imagination. But, if I had to pick an instead in my life when it happen. I would have to said when I first learn of mythology and all the mythical creatures. You know Minotaurs and fox demon as such.
