So where is the Great God of the server? I haven't seen it do anything on the server other than that one day I got on when its voice echoed all around me.

Started to get the mast done, and the rigging, found a splendid use for the trip wire hooks, they make a quick pulley in a pinch for all the rigging. Went with a traditional sloop styled sail, sick of people making square sails that are ugly, and since I stuck to the design this long, might as well go all the way. Not sure how I feel about the double jib right now, wish wool came in half-blocks and stair shapes, this would be 100000x more easier.

Downside of sails, besides being a pain; deflects tnt down into my ship it would seem.





Kudos to my opponent who in the spirit of the competition, is also trying to win at the appearance part as well. He has me outgunned, 8 cannons that shoot 3 tnt's each. (to my 4 firing one each). He has obsidian around his cannons (mine is all wood). And his ship is fuck ton huge (so it will ride higher in the water shooting ONTO my deck. Used to think I would just outright win on the design, but he keeps asking me for help and his enthusiasm to actually make functional ships in design pleases me greatly. We will probably do a live recording of the naval battle in the weeks that follow. I might have a sign up for those that want to be in my crew. I need boarding members if we go that route.

I will make a creeper gun later, actually over the top silly (involved command blocks, lightning, and tnt launcher creepers, by far the scariest shit I ever had to defend on in death-craft.

On a side note, sails are hard to make look like actual sails =/

Greatest of comrades, founders of new weapons of wars, boats, and various other methods of murder that have been designed on our server. I come to you with the worst of news. I had awoken one snowy morning after having hit the virtual bed, to have noticed a visitor logging on to the server. I tracked him hard, but he outran me, his wooden construct out running our primitive plank and stick boats.

We were suddenly and deliberately attacked by a greifer, erecting offensive buildings in our spawn, and leaving hateful messages to all. I tried to stop him, but to no avail, and once I banned him, the damage was already done. I have failed you, and for this, I go on an exodus.

Now that I know the Traitor Maximilianos and his companion XTheGothKidX are trying to sabotage my creations on forum, I have gone to secret location Y to do some building. Every time I make a design, Maxi steals it, improves it, and hands it over to the enemy of the motherland. This time I am not putting up with it, I will not secretly adhere to the rules of 40 blocks long and 15 tall, for my opponenent is easily twice the size of my french boat, and three times as tall, with 4x as many weapons. No, I will not break. Instead, I will make this, a Spanish ship. It will be powerful, with many intricate redstone contraptions with fail-safes. It will be intuitive, teaching my crew to be effective. Most of all, it will be a work of art. Rise my patriots, and fight against the German aggressors. It is time for the spaniards to once more rule the seas....
