Since we're talking about games, I made this Modern Warfare 2 montage for anyone to see. Was bored so I had fun making it :). Enjoy.

FABLE III!

My bet is that we're at war with Samarkand, which is where Garth and reaver went :-)
But if Garth's the kind of that crazy place and we have to fight him then :-( Garth is a beast.

All I hope is that Fable 3 isn''t as piss poor as Fable 2 was. I'm kinda hoping they go back to a Fable one kind of style.

What exactly do you mean? the scavenging thing with the dog? having to find the books to teach him? the ending? i mean if you don't choose the "right" ending you cant get the most desired achievements. That is unless you pick up all of the collectible shit ~before~ you reach the ship at the docks ( point of no return ). They said it would be geared more towards action and less rpg...and more story based and a little less free roaming. Oh and all the expressions you'll be using are more realistic and less of a joke. Instead of you being like Silent Bob from Clerks (from the videos I've watched) you actually interact with the people...you know, with your hands, so your no longer run around like a robot trying to impress people....now you can run around touching them as well. I didn't even touch base on the fact that you get to be the King / Queen of Eng....er i mean Albion! Think of all the power you get to wield in the Golden Throne as the God Emperor (WH 40 k ref).

I played the shit out of both their games and will probably be satisfied with whatever the outcome (Lionhead does marginally good work, after all).

I'm meaning that the whole thing just felt...slippery and meh. I watched my friend start up Fable 3 earlier today and I like what I seen. The clothes no longer make you always look fat and the movement is damn crisp. I'll write more when I give it a try.

I played 12.5 hours into the game and fast traveled into one of the wooded areas only to get glitched inside of some rocks and trees...thinking quickly i turned off my 360 and reloading...to no avail though as it had saved after it glitched...at this point i was incredibly pissed off and went tried to go to The Sanctuary but it only went into the Options menu (the old Pause menu with saved / loads and game adjustments) with no way to get out of my predicament. I thought of one last ditch effort, which was to join one of my friends games but the problem with that is that i need to buy gold to even get the chance to attempt my desperate effort to get myself out of this hole. Almost thirteen hours in and a respectable amount of effort is not something that seems like much on the whole but to me its everything.

Ack, bugs are what is keeping me from buying Fallout: New Vegas at the moment, some of them sound quite serious so I'm gonna wait for at least the first patch, maybe the second (because then it might be a bit cheaper too, I have too little money to spend on games lately!).

I haven't had too much trouble with New Vegas yet. The only thing that's really bothering me is how your gun/arms can get misplaced and such. I guess the arms in the FPS view get screwed up when crouching sometimes. Like, they're in the spot they would be as if you were standing but you're crouched. Recrouching usually solves the problem.

Yeah i herd the exact same thing as Ren...if you go to the escapist ( http://www.escapistmagazine.com/ ) and look under Shamus Young & New Vegas ( http://www.escapistmagazine.com/article ... s-it-Again ) one of the editors bashed FO: NV with reports of the game eating all your saves and crashes so bad you have to fight the computer to open up ctrl alt del and hope you can [End Task] on it...and if you look on youtube you will find that the opening video sequence has problems from the get go. Suffice to say i dodged NV like a rabies infested coon and made a bee line for Fable 3...*sigh*

My grandfather gave a real protip for my problem ( my granma remarried so hes not as old as you'd think ) by advising me to use my USB as an external hard drive...and after moving my saved game to the USB take it out and save the game again ( So if the game does indeed does hate my guts... ) i can counter the bug with a previous save. Keep in mind that you can not leave the USB in the port because it might decide to save over the "safe" save too...can never be too safe. If you have this game and feel like your unprotected I'd definitely go buy a USB, if you don't already have one, and totally take advantage of my grandfathers words of wisdom. It doesn't get me back my 13 hours, 15 silver keys, 2 gold keys, my Real Estate empire, and all my goddamn effort...but at least ill be prepared the next time.

Only real problem I've ever had in the game is that the NCR are now pissed off at me for no reason whatsoever. Talked to some guys in the NCR camp at the Southwest of the map and then fast traveled to the correctional facility that the Powder Gangers took over in order to get that new sheriff. Then I warped back to get him the paperwork to clear his name and they were all pissed off at me. I tried loading back to before I fast traveled there and walked to it instead. Still pissed off. I tried seeing if it was just them or all the NCR by going to a different location with the NCR. They were mad with me too. Never did anything to them. Just attacked the Powder Gangers. I was wearing a Sheriff's Duster too. So I wasn't in any kind of disguise they'd be mad with. Bunch of asses. I hate when the game has mental breakdowns. >>

Before my foray into the interwebs and countless strat guides i used to play Starfox 64 until i found out the secret meanings of the rings (you fly through them) and secret bosses they hide...keep in mind i was around 7 or 8 back then lol. Even back then i was a diligent gamer :D

I totally agree that Fox is a most awesome hero...hes one of the most awesome most memorable in game characters from my childhood. Hes right up there with the Super NES side-scrolling Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles beat'em up i used to play Co-Op with my cousin. Leonardo (ninja swords) ftw! Played both of those games to the very end.

**Edit** When i mentioned my grandfathers protip i just found out that my 360 refuses to Copy my game save from the hard-drive to my USB....so you might have to use a third party source, such as a computer.

I'm going to put down the steps to do what I've done to protect my saved games in case anyone else decides to do what i did:

1.) Move the saved game data to your USB storage device and plug it into your computer.
2.) Once you have the file (The game save) up on your computer make a copy of it and put it on your desktop.
3.) Leave the original save on the USB and put it back into the 360 and move it back to the 360's Hard-drive.
4.) Then take the USB back out and put it back into the computer and put the copied save onto the USB.
*5.) You'll have to do this every time ( And delete the previous backed up save game ) you want to properly protect your game saves.

I don't know why but it refused to do it no matter what...what it would do is just "move" the save from the hard-drive to the usb...but wasn't able to "copy" it. I like Lionhead...i really do...but i will not be glitched and fucked over (Only automatic saves, so i cant pick where i want to save my game) because of the inability to protect myself from such things. I will find a way to get around this bullshit and they cant fuckin' stop me. Protecting ones self, in any case, is priority number one.

I know I'm breaking a cardinal rule by double posting like this but i feel that it is needed...

I feel guilty for posting such long messages on here and basically hijacking the thread so ill keep it short. I ran into some more debilitating problems that ~almost~ cost me my game ~again~...but i got very lucky. If you have this game you should definitely heed my words and back it up on a USB or some other storage device. If i can run into so many problems like this, others like me must be out there. I think when they were making this game they made it out of weak glass wrapped in wet toilet paper...because that's about how well it holds up.

Fable III was great fun for me, except the constant glitches in multiplayer. And the glitch where holding someone's hand sometimes makes you walk at a crawling pace. And the absence of Garth >(

But other that that it was great :)

I wish that Lionhead would spend more time stamping out these bugs before releasing their games, it is just getting a bit silly.
