... Treasure planet... GAH!!!!... oh wait this isn't the horrible movie thread... Well it's so horrible that it's scary to think how they got funding.
The jokes are beyond childish and unfunny and any mood the movie build up is instantly crushed under.... I wouldn't call it attempts at jokes.... Attempts at story telling maybe?
It had some interesting takes on furries but as i said the jokes will kill you. They continue to have running gags that are so annoying and are unfunny to begin with.

They have some humour in them. Sure not a lot but some. That is your opinion however and I am sure their are people who may disagree with your opinions so please reference relevant opinions to the relevant topic.

Its not very scary to me now, but the only movie that really scared me the first time I saw it was Jurassic Park, and for the life of me I can't explain why.

Oddly enough, the first movie that popped up in my mind when i saw the thread is not technically a horror movie, but i'll say it anyway: "Life is Beautiful" (original title: La vita è bella).

As far as horror films go, i'll have to go with Alien. I still hate the damn cat...

Axel Kistuna Wrote:Nothing scares me!...eh.. well i have one movie.. it might be maybe scenes from certain movies that freak me OUT
1.Halloween: when the woman in the bed messes with the microchip and it goes off melting her face (OMG)
2.THE THING: When they try to see whats wrong with the guys stomach, then he eats someone's hand off, swallows him whole and then his head turns into a spider (HOLY SH*T)
3.THE CAVE: the first creepy mutated miner encounter (pretty scary)
4.Zombieland: nothing scary..i just LOVE The movie period
5.THE ORIGINAL EXORCIST: When her head spins around.. (i dropped out of my seat laughing/crying/terrified)

thats about it..

This compilation reminds me of a scene from a totally not horror movie, but i remember the reaction of the entire audience at the cinema along with mine. It's from Cast Away. I'm talking about the scene when Tom Hanks uses the skate to perform "dental work".

I always suggest this when talking about horror movies: Audition.

As a guy who doesn't believe in monogamy, just the premise of Audition scares the fuck out of me. The fact that she'll kill everyone else in your life so you'll love her and only her, then mutilate you to make you dependent on her... my fear of crazy jealous girls might be why I haven't gotten up the nerve to actually see that film yet, but the description of it on TV Tropes was terrifying.

As for the actual scariest movie I've seen... The Grudge is another good Japanese one. Toshio (the little boy ghost, the one who meows like a cat) was probably the last movie monster who kept me up nights. I still can't watch that fucking thing with the lights off.

I haven't really been scared by movies lately (Except for cheep pop up scares) but Marblehornets put me into a terror state that lasted a week. I couldn't look directly through any doorways or windows for fear of slenderman.
