I'm getting an Alienware M14x soon, until then I have a laptop whose videocard can just barely support Solitaire, so no demos for now. I'm basically searching for games to get when I have a computer that will run them, so i have new games to play instead of games I used to play.

Yeah, Steam doesn't have a great variety or horror games. And I mostly play horror games on consoles as well, there just doesn't seem to be many horror games in general, none that are "revolutionary" anyway. They're mostly creepy puzzle games (Amnesia) or games that try to call themselves "horror" but fail horribly (Resident Evil 5, F.E.A.R., etc.). Call me a fruitful bastard, but I want to find a game with an "Amnesia: The Dark Descent" atmosphere with a sort of "Half-Life" or "Dead Space" gameplay.

Never finished either of the other Mass Effects. I think the layout of the game just wasn't appealing. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was a damn great game, but I think the way Mass Effect plays made me lose interest. The story is still pretty good though, my brother is a diehard Mass Effect fan so I still get to enjoy that much XD
