Wow, so many replies. I hadn't expected to see this many posts in such a short time. So, My question to you now is this: What card do you think should be banned? Not because it's broken or something, but rather, because it has no purpose due to the fact that the best use for it is now banned. I think that Thousand Eyes Idol fits this question perfectly. The only real use for it was as fusion for Thousand Eyes Restrict, which should of been banned from the start.
Yes, This is Gorz, the Emissary of Darkness. So what if I play Yu-Gi-Oh? At least I don't smoke, do drugs, drink, or break the law!

well in my opinion every card has its weakness and strength, even thousand eyes idol has more then one use. i have found ways around through most combos, i dont think i can think of a card that should be banned based on uselessness seeing as even useless cards can come in handy like synco (never actually tried them for i have no synco monsters or tuner monster)

actually i have a random thought of somehow pulling off yugioh RP on here not sure how it will work, but it would be interesting none-the-less

Judgement dragon or JD as ppl call him is a 3000/2600 that comes into play special from your hand when u have 4+ Lightsworn monsters on your Graveyard and can pay 1000 lifepoints and destroy anything exept himself, he can b special sumoned with any other cards like monster reborn and the only payback its that u need to send the top 4 cards from your deck at the end of each turn hes face up on your field.
So Black Luster soldier(that can only atack 2 times max btw) is just another normal good card compared to this kind of monsters imo.

Biggest problem I had with the whole permaban trend they officially process is how they do to cards that either have no reason to get banned or they ban cards so there was no point is even publishing them in the first place.

True, although some people collect the cards after they are banned anyway because they either just want the card as a collectible, or they use them in the Traditional Format. I think that one of the cards that I agree with you on is Victory Dragon. It's the only Match Winner that wasn't illegal to use in the first place. However, a player would just simply forfeit the duel if their opponent summoned Victory Dragon, since in tournaments, they fight matches, not single duels. If Victory Dragon reduces your Opponent's life points to 0 with a single attack, you win the match, not the duel. I think that they should release the match winners to the public in a legendary collection, though. Because of her:

Also, I'd like to point out that Tengu is limited to 3. And Tour Guide has been hit by rulings. Example: You can Summon Sangan, but if you detach him for the effect of an XYZ monster, you can't activate his effect.

I used to watch the cartoons and had a deck some years ago. I think my favourite character was Joey. The deck I had was almost dure dragons, damage magic, and summoning preventive traps. Had 4 pieces of Exodia, but never fielded them because without the fifth, they were crap

Oh, and the special ability on that Queen card looks rubbish - if you reduce your opponents life to 0 you win the match? Doesn't that happen anyway?

Not if they have a trap card that revert the damage back to you.

Basically so long as you attack your opponents life points directly before it getting sent back to you and it reaches 0 than you win.'

It's basically a trap of a trap card.

Now for me to show you my trap card named "Never played the game in my life"

I played long ago. Still have the deck laying around, but I have no interest in digging it back out. My deck was built around Guardians, such as Guardian Baou, Guardian Kay'Est. Just play traps to protect Baou while he kills Effect monsters, negate their effects, and grow stronger and stronger, play Grarl to keep an offensive monster on the offensive so I can take their life points, etc. It worked for my friends and I was never interested enough to go to tournys.

Really? I've never seen it. I lost interest in the series about the time the Shadow Games became a regular occurrence and Yugi got his soul stolen.
