Obsessive logging out

Hey guys, been here for a while, true I tend to stick in the creative section only, I came here seeking help. You see everytime I go to another page, my account auto logs out even after I sign in hitting the "stay signed in thing". But now it logs me out between viewing pages on the forum. I don't mind logging in every day, however doing it 4 times a day while I only on here for 5 mins a day is a bit obsessive...

also, I keep getting this message on a unrealated subject every now and then

So i'll start with the last.
The "Internal Server Error" is a cruel form of punishment design by lurkers...
Okay bull shitting a side basically you will get this error when the: the forums over loaded, You double click a submit and others.
I'm guessing you've already guessed hitting refresh fixes this.


I have no clue what causes the log out but i've had it a few times. I think i had it a few days back but it's rare if ever for me.
I'm normally having more than one tab of LOK up and might have a second window of it up also. I also normally get kicked out when i haven't been active.

So the basic reasoning i have is that the cookie is getting deleted. Do you have any anti virus or system tools that clean's up your PC and is likely to have you use it 4 times a day?
Even clearing your private data could do it.

Also what OS and browser are you using?

I had this problem with my old BB phone, and SPW has it with his galaxy tab.

With my galaxy epic (phone) I don't get logged out constantly like the tab or blackberry does.

I've posted this problem here before, but it was mostly ignored.

I'm not asking for help, just throwing more pieces for people to work with.

Like I said in that post, I do not have the problem with my galaxy epic.

I agree with Bluelight, it definitely sounds like a cookie problem. I'm no administrator of this forum, however, so I can't say much about its programming style.

Another solution, along with checking your anti-virus, would be to clear your cookies completely, including temp. files and the like. It's worth trying if the anti-virus check doesn't give you anything. It may be the cookie that's been downloaded incorrectly or something. Noscript probably couldn't be the cause, but such programs that reminds of it can do the same thing.

I never really delete my cookies, all my other (MANY) websites leave me logged in, and also to blue lights post, I running on a Mac book pro laptop, and yeah, I do all my art for this website on a worn down track pad. Lol
