Question about character in Peach's Untold Story

Hello all. I was hoping someone could answer a question I have about a character in Mario Is Missing: Peach's Untold Story v1.8.7. In level 1-2, toward the end where you go between two sets of pipes, if you go down one of the pipes it takes you to an upper part of the area. If you continue to the right in this upper area, there is a character that looks like he is from Pikmin (onion shaped guy with a flower on his head). Could someone (a) please tell me what series he is from and (b) when I go up to him, the game says "He doesn't want to interact with me yet"... has interaction with this character been implemented yet and if so, how do I do this? I have attached a screen shot for reference. Thank you for your help.

Here are the answers to your questions:
a) That's a Bub-Ulb, he's from Paper Mario. If you wish to know a bit more, you can read it on the Super Mario Wiki. http://www.mariowiki.com/Bub-ulb

b) There is no interaction for it at the moment. Ivan-Aedler (the man who is making the game) has already put the Bub-Ulb in the game, but hasn't created any code for it yet.
The plan is to make a little scene happen where he sniffs Peach's crotch. There might be more later on, but that is to be discussed.
