One of your favorite songs

Postby thedude9351 » Mon Nov 07, 2011 11:37 am

This is to show some example of your favorite songs also add your favorite part or line from said song (most of mine will probably be country so be prepared for that.

my first one is There's a tear in my beer

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6BT8oMA-g0

two of my favorite lines are

"I'm gonna keep drinkin'
till I can't move a toe
and then maybe my heart
won't hurt me so."

"I've tried and I've tried
But my tears I can't hide
You are on my lonely mind."

also i'm drunk right now if that helps explains the topic and song choice.

The Beatles - ob-la-di ob-la-da
"ob-la-di ob-la-da life goes on, ra"

Either that or:

Phil Collins - In the Air Tonight
"I can feel it in the air tonight, oh lord"

Weird, I just noticed most of my favorite bands are British. Iron Maiden, Beatles, The Who, etc.

One of the ones I used to sing to myself in the last job role I had:

Break Free - Queen
"I want to break free, I want to break free. I want to break free from you lies you're so, self-satisfied out of me"
One way, or another, I'm going to find you, I'll get you, I'll get you!

"Leg of Time" - Bill Bailey

"See through the eyes of Murgoth's kestrel; Where's the tiny mouse? There it is! A-hahahaha.
Ride a white pig to the edge of Lapland; Why did I do that? Why did I do that?? I do not know!
Who stole, the leg of time?"
One way, or another, I'm going to find you, I'll get you, I'll get you!

My two favorite songs:

Perfect Circle - Weak and Powerless
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s-GsLh6dazI&ob=av2n

Perfect Circle - Judith
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTgKRCXybSM&ob=av2e

I would say Perfect Circle is my favorite band, but they went all crazy and terrible after their second album.

I gotta say that the official song for "Legend of Dragoon" (PS1) is mine b/c its the 1st videogame that really struck me as kick azz. Its called "If you still believe" -By Elsa Raven.
heres the intro:
Lyrics:
Vocals: Elsa Raven
I had a dream that I could fly
I can feel each moment as time goes by
We'd never be too far away,
You would always be here, I heard you say
I never thought
Thought that it would be our last goodbye
(our last goodbye.)
I still can dream
That one day love will fall out from the sky
Do you still remember all the time that has gone by?
(do you believe?)
Do you still believe that love can fall out from the sky?
If from where you're standing, you can see the sky above
I'll be waiting for you, if you still believe in love
(do you still believe?)
Find a way to bring back yesterday
Find a way to love
I hope we stay
When tomorrow becomes today
Love will find a way
I'll be waiting for you, in my heart you are the one
If I cannot find you, I will look up to the sun
(do you believe, do you believe?)
If from where you're standing, you can see the sky above
I'll be waiting for you, if you still believe in love
Do you believe?
Do you believe?
Do you still remember all the time that has gone by?
Do you still believe that love can fall out from the sky?
If from where you're standing, you can see the sky above
(do you believe?)
I'll be waiting for you, if you still believe in love
Do you believe?

Against the darkness by Anna Akana.
"The itsy bitsy spider walked up the water spout

Out came the rain and washed the spider out

But instead of the sun drying up the rain

The spider decided that she couldn't take the pain

So she drowned in the floods that came ahead

And now the itsy bitsy spider's dead

Dead."

chech my signature...
I often find myself thinking that most people are utter shite. I try to be positive and prove myself wrong. So far I've yet to succeed in doing so.
On the otherhand: I know a few of the actually great people out there and that makes me happy enough.

also; I created the sound of madness, wrote the book on pain
Somehow I'm still here to explain
That the darkest hour never comes in the night
You can sleep with a gun
When you gonna wake up and fight for yourself?

I'm so sick of this tombstone mentality
If there's an afterlife then it'll set you free
But I'm not gonna part the seas
You're a self-fulfilling prophecy

who?

If you meant me, then yes i do, but that's just one band among many, like atreyu, shinedown, escape the fate, avenged svenfold, rise against, nickleback etc...

If you DIDN'T mean me, the move along!

Disturbed-Haunted
"Never will I be welcome
Amongst the heartless monsters you surround yourself with
Feeding of the pain and misfortune of others
A manical unit of sub-human parasites
Warped into a feeding frenzy with the smell of fresh blood
Open your eyes and see the creatures for what they are
A swirling mess of hatred and envy
Don't be naive enough to think you are unaffected
The conversion has already begun..."
The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.
