Masanori took his time and carefully followed up behind Naimah. She managed well enough on her own and gave Masanori a fair view of her rear squirming around in those tight pants she was wearing. Upon reaching the top Arashi helped her up then Airi and Masanori if he allowed. "That wasn't so bad, but we have company." He said thumbing over his shoulder. Looking past him Masanori couldn't see anything but the jungle. It took him a second to spot the trio of primate faces staring at him through the brush. They seemed to notice his gaze and abruptly broke off disappearing into the foliage all at once. "I'd keep an eye on your things if I were you, those little things do love to steal..." He commented with a shrug and looked towards the east. "Back on the road I guess...

For the remainder of the day they traveled along the jungles edge and eventually reached an old trail that lead them towards one of the main roads that passed through and would eventually lead them to Zhaogon. As they walked the kitsune eventually wandered up to Masanori while the girls were chatting. "So, we're making good time. Might get there in a day or two... but we do have one little problem." He said running his hand back through his hair and thumbing at one of his fox ears. "I don't always get the best reception in town... and you sort of ruined my last disguise."

Monkeys didn't much matter to Masanori, especially after he had been privy to staring at Naimah's rear for the better part of ten minutes, remembering that he had been robbed not only of a peaceful rest, but a chance to empty his balls into the pretty innkeeper by the earlier raid. He made a note to fix that once they settled down for the night. Making sure to keep his swords close as hand in fact any handsy primates decided to get ideas, the ronin continued onward in relative silence with the rest of his small party.

Of course, he could not remain silent forever, as it seemed the yokai wanted to speak to him. He gave the fox a quizzical look as it declared he was at fault for ruining its disguise.

"You're a yokai, are you not? Simply use your magics to make a new disguise." He was certain that was something they did, wasn't it? All those tales usually involved kitsune taking the shape of comely young women to lead travelers astray. He certainly wished that were the case; he was still quite annoyed with the chatty fox, and having a pretty face attached to it would make the whole affair much more tolerable.

Still, it did present a problem. Thinking back to the inn, Masanori rummaged through his belongings after stopping for a moment to fish out the bolt of cloth that had been left behind by the peasantry during the impromptu 'tax' collection. He handed it to the fox.

"Wrap it around your head and pretend you're a peasant. As for the tail... tuck it, I guess. Unless you'd rather a more permanent solution." He flicked his sword's hilt at the mention.

Arashi blinked as the bolt of cloth was tossed into his hands and he rolled his eyes. "Sorry to break it to you but I can't just change at will like that. It takes a lot of practice and I was never very good at it anyway. Human disguises are a lot easier." He said unfurling a length of cloth and frowning down at it as he attempted to tie it around his head in some way to conceal his ears. When he was done he looked more like a soldier recovering from a head injury than a traveling peasant. Though now that Masanori was staring Arashi might pass as a woman in they had the time to invest in such an outfit. The longer hair would at least hide the ears.... for now though he'd have to make due with that absurd head wrap.

As the day turned into evening Naimah stopped along the road near a clearing. "We're going to have to stop here for the night, I don't think roaming around in the dark is going to be very productive." She said already starting off into the jungle to gather firewood. Airi was trying to help Arashi unwrap the cloth around his eyes which gave Masanori the chance to sneak off and follow the former innkeeper if he wished.

Masanori couldn't tell what was more jarring; the fact the Yokai was proving itself to be distinctly less magical than the myths would have him believe, or that he was thinking that the spirit fox would look rather pretty if they had the appropriate dressings. Certainly not the kind of fox wife he expected out of an exchange with the supernatural, but if nothing else, it would be amusing to see the mouthy vulpine dolled up in a cute little yukata. Maybe if he was pretty enough, Masanori would find another use for that mouth of his. Thankfully, the day's journey was winding to a close before the ronin, his vigor restored by some manner of miracle or another, could ruminate on any more raunchy thoughts. In fact, matters conspired to give him an outlet for that. When Naimah ducked off into the woods to gather wood, he took his opportunity.

"Going to go make sure she stays safe; keep watch and put together some stones for a pit while we're gone." He grunted, before trudging off into the undergrowth after the innkeeper.

He couldn't imagine she could get very far, and so once he found her, he resolved to sneak up on the poor woman. When he was close enough, he would lunge out and wrap his arms around her stomach and pull her up against him.

"Guess who."

Wandering out into the jungle Masanori followed the tracks Naimah had left behind. A broken branch here, a few footsteps in the mud there, she wasn't trying to hide and he caught up soon enough. She had a bundle of deadfall branches in her arms when Masanori grabbed her and she let out a sharp gasp. Pulling her in close he could feel that shapely ass pressing back against his groin and she cleared her throat before speaking. "Is it the horny ronin who tracked bandits into my town?" She asked tersely and let her pile of wood drop away from her. She leaned back against him half turning to smirk up at him. "You've been waiting all day for this haven't you?" She said leaning up to try and kiss him.

Out in the jungle Masanori heard the hooting of one of those monkeys which made Naimah jump and turn to look up at the howling creature a few meters away swinging from his branch. It pulled itself up and jumped a few times bouncing in place before taking off quickly towards the south out towards the beach.

Feeling Naimah's soft body pressing against his own filled Masanori with a rush of euphoria, and he happily traced his hands down along her stomach, tracing lines against her hips as she teased him. The wood clattering to the ground was of little consequence to him; she was right in her assessment of his desires.

"Don't act like you haven't thought about it either." He rumbled playfully as she leaned up to meet his lips. He had only just barely been able to press his own against hers when something above decided to interrupt them. Glaring up at the monkey above, he watched as it quickly darted through the treeline in the direction they had just come from. For whatever reason, that alarmed him. Probably because of the way the three from earlier had been staring at him. Maybe because of that damned nightmare.

"You don't mind sneaking this in later at camp, do you? I don't like how that thing is moving towards camp." He told the innkeeper, placing a hand on the hilt of his sword. "Grab what wood you gathered and follow me." With that, the former samurai set off back in the direction which he came, perhaps too cautious in the face of the tragedy that befell them earlier in the morning.

Naimah glanced over towards the monkey and then to him with a frown. "Its just an ape." She said but did as she was told, gathering up the wood and following his lead back towards camp. The monkey was ahead of them but still in sight leaping through the tree branches. Behind him he heard a flock of birds cawing in alarm and flying upward and the ground began to shake. Naimah glanced over her shoulders a moment then looked to him. "What the hell is that?" She asked, her voice wavering slightly as the sounds grew louder. Eventually a massive beast broke through the foliage and into sight running on all fours behind them. It looked like some kind of great ape but massive in size, scraping its head against the upper branches of the trees. In addition it had one long horn protruding from its forehead and a dozen sharp spines along its limbs. It was clearly some sort of Yokai and it didn't look interested in chatting as it slowly gained ground on the two of them.
