Well, this is a bit of a pickle. Thinking for a moment, I give Yuna a small nod and try to lead them to a private room where I can let us into my space so we can talk privately. I want Elisa to know that I trust her.

You lead the two into your pocket dimension, much to each's displeasure, as they warily look over each other... both not trusting the 'newcomer.' It's going to be annoying to get these two to see eye to eye, isn't it?

"Well, we're going to be in this together, so I'd appreciate a bit of trust between the three of us. Now. Yuna, what is the issue?

Well yes, but her hearing is exceptional, and she's only lost her vision recently so will still 'look' at people she is paying attention to as a habit.

"Maybe but this has to do with job I hired for," Yuna comments, clearly wary of speaking about plans to get the elves to fight Yuna's cause in front of an elf.
"And I am swore to help her, and that includes her work," Elisa insists.

"I... don't think it will be difficult to convince Elisa that elves should go to war with the centaurs, not the way I found her." I mention to Yuna, hoping that's enough. I wouldn't want her to be forcibly reminded of that.

"We already are at war with them," Elisa comments, "Though if you mean taking initiative and show some actual aggression against them, then I would have to agree."
Yuna pauses, eyes scanning Elisa for a moment before sighing, "Alright... fine... I basically wanted to confirm if the plan hasn't changed since you returned way sooner than expected."

"No, the plan hasn't changed. I just had someone I was hoping to drop off. But I guess I'm taking her with me." I tell Yuna, a bit salty but easily able to handle it.

"Alright... let me handle the trade goods. I have a pretty good idea of what will get you the most value with the dwarves... and I can handle the negotiations. I'll have it ready for you tomorrow morning," Yuna nods as Elisa shifts uncomfortably at your bitterness about her tying herself to you.

I sigh, a bit less than amused. "Well, if we're here, it should be fine. I'll just get used to having one more with me at the time, it's not like I don't have room for another pretty face."

She is still uncomfortable though... you feel the reason might have shifted as you see a bit of a blush work into her face. "Alright... uh... is there anything else you need or should we call it a night?"

"If no one has anything else, I think we're good for the night." I suggest, planning on a good nights sleep. That said, I'll need to meditate in the outside world again, hoping to properly saturate my meridians with mana once more.

They nod, and you split up... allowing you to appreciate actually sleeping in friendly territory for once, and being able to meditate without worry about attack.

Appreciating the fact that I can do something safely, I fully charge my mana pool before I turn my attention to my incomplete magics, hoping to pump additional mana into them, allowing them to complete as much as possible.

Despite being fully charged, trying to flood your incomplete rune with magic just leaves them leaking most of it out... You really are going to need to find more of those runes to finish them before you can properly refine them.

Dammit. Ah well, time to move on. Finishing up my meditation and making sure that Ruby is topped off, I head to my space to sleep. On completion, assuming nothing else has come up, I call a morning meeting to ensure we're all on the same page for moving on.

The night passes peacefully... not something you are too use to since your effective exile from home. As you call the meeting, Ruby and Elisa are there immediately but Yuna takes a little bit, arriving carrying several boxes. They wait for you to lay out the plan.

"Hopefully, I can avoid being side tracked again, but the current plan is to head toward the Dwarven kingdoms and hope for the best." I tell them, trying to keep it simple. I've had a bit of education, but not that much, and this seems like it'd be the simplest.

"That is where I come in!" Yuna declares, opening up one of the boxes, "I wrote up several letters explaining my situation and asking them for help, as well as a talisman that should serve as proof. I also collected a variety of things that would be useful to them. Hopefully you can spin that into them willing to use you to open up trade with the elves." She explains, "There are a few more things, namely timber that I couldn't bring here. Had to make a few promises to get this much, in exchange for them getting first crack at whatever trade goods you bring back, so when you return be sure not to sell them before talking to me!"

"Alright, I'll make a note of it. If no one else has any plans besides what Yuna cleverly came up with, I think we should be on our way?" I ask, making sure everyone agrees. "Ruby and I will travel outside, Elisa inside unless there's objections?" I ask, knowing that Yuna is likely to stay and continue working her charms.

Elisa isn't sure but nods. Though Yuna brings up another point, "So the centaurs are a bit agitated by your little raid. The quickest path with be within the area of their heighten patrols. Are you planning on going that way or take a longer route?"
