I dart to the nearest cover, listening carefully for the sound of possible discovery and begin darting from cover to cover, hoping I can make my way to the tents and possible supply area.

You manage to get to the tents with little issues, the centaurs seemingly quite relaxed. They must not expect anyone to infiltrate their camp. Checking the tents you find dozens of sleeping mats laid out in each one, covering almost every available inch. Must be for the lower ranked. There are no provisions for a fire inside, so there must be a place to cook nearby.

Hm, I wonder. I slip into the tent, adding a bit of paralytic venom to each of the coverings, wondering if it'll work well through contact. They are bigger, but I doubt they've got the magical resistance most beasts would have to my venom. Still, I continue to investigate after a brief sting at soaking their beddings in my venom. Note to self, develop more contact poisons.

When you were about half way through, your daughter begins nudging you, hurrying you to leave, and soon enough you hear approaching clopping of horse feet.

I almost panic, not sure exactly what to do, but quickly follow Ruby out the back away from the clopping of hooves.

Ruby quickly leads you into a tent full of crates providing plenty of places to hide as the centaurs pass. Thought after a brief moment you realize it's their ration supplies.

Dammit, and now I have to make a decision. On the one hand, taking them would leave them without food, and force them to hunt more, and leave me a decent surplus to have or sell at my discretion. Poisoning them though, would likely wipe out a large swath of them at once. Hm, my spatial nature tells me to loot them for all they're worth, but my venom makes me want to poison them all. And taking only half would clue them in that something is wrong. I do a rough estimate of how many there are, to see if I could maybe pocket a few and poison the rest. Still, at this juncture, a decrease in the total number of centaurs is probably best, so I'm leaning toward poisoning them all.

Since you don't know exactly how much a centaur eats, you have to make some rough calculations, but there should be enough to feed five hundred for a month if your guesses are right.

Yup, definitely going to take a few boxes and then poison the rest of this. I slip a few into my space, more out of curiosity and my innate desire to store things, before I begin dripping out and contaminating as many of these as possible, making sure to leave as little sign as I can. After that, I return to Ruby, "You don't think they've got any prisoners, do you? If not, let's escape now."

I give her a nod, looking to follow along with her. Hopefully, I can find someone helpful as well to add to my small party, besides my daughter. I suppose we could use a healer if need be, my own version is a little slow.

She pauses outside a large tent with its own guards, about a dozen, stationed outside it. "In there," Ruby announces. Well... that complicates things.

Dammit all, I wish I had some kind of sleep... definitely need to work on some kind of airborne variants of my venoms. None of my magical attacks are what you'd call 'subtle', also something I'll need to work on. I continue to survey the situation, looking to see if there's another way I could enter. I look up as well, recalling my 'newish' air step ability. It's more of a combat oriented ability, for quick maneuvering in air, but I could maybe adapt it? If I have to, I can cause a distraction elsewhere and have Ruby rescue this one, who is most likely going to be an asset of some kind. Focusing internally a bit, I try to shift my ears closer toward the elven standard, hoping that I can maybe pretend to be an elf for a bit.

While your poisons and magic might fail you, and from what you recall of your testing of your airstep ability, you slowly floating up in the middle of the camp would be one of the least subtle things you could do, a distraction would work well. Ruby is happy to remind you that she has powerful fire magic and fire tends to draw crowds in a hurry. You could still delegate her to rescue or attempt to do it yourself.

While I could delegate her to rescue, if I can draw away the guards, I can just put whoever it is in my portal space, which means I don't need to worry about their physical condition at all. Settling on this, I tell Ruby to move to one side, probably near something valuable, say a food store that hasn't been horribly poisoned and start making distractions before escaping, and I'll sneak in, kill anyone present, and then make good my own escape. Yes, this seems like a good plan to me.

She nods, and you swear you see a smirk on her wolf face as she creeps away. After sometime you hear a massive boom and clouds of fiery smoke billowing up in the distance, followed by several smaller explosions.

Roll 10
The guards are slack-jawed at the sight, clearly unable to figure out exactly what happened, before most jumping into action. The seeming leader commands two to stay while the rest book off to help dealing with the fire.

Two soldiers should be doable, I think. I focus on my arms, getting my mana circulating properly before I try to open the battle with a mana bolt from both arms into a single guard, hoping to take one of them out before I charge in, claws bared, and hoping to score a hit with a neurotoxin or paralytic.

Both magic blast struck one directly in the chest and knocked him over as you charge at the other one.

He quickly raises one of those odd weapons at you and a shock hammers your shoulder, knocking you back with a thunderous clap. Fuck! It cracked a scale! What the hell is that weapon!

You know, for being a dragon, even a weak one compared to other dragons, Suku is getting her ass kicked quite often. Dunno if this is going to be the elf or centaur waifu, but I suppose you could always make the centaur waifu dual equipped so her horse half is male and her human half is female with a pussy and everything. Just in case you want to work on those dragon/centaur hybrids without having her beaten by the centaurs.

I almost let out a cheer as I manage to knock over the one. Still, I'm a bit distracted before the strange metal wand is raised and I'm throne of my stride. What the abyss!? I didn't even feel any magical energy dissipate from my scales, some kind of antimage weapon? I summon a glop of my healing gel, slapping it on my shoulder before I return to charge once more before he has a chance to recharge his mana. Of course, if my own abilities come up first, there's no reason to hold back on that front.

I mean, she wasn't really hurt by this. Also the centaur waifu ain't going to be a long time, since you'd need to go to their homelands rather then their war camps for that. You could of course get raunchy with them and poison them, and that'll probably work for quite a few encounters with them.

Roll 11
You close in and tear the offending soldier's arm open, forcing him to drop his weapon with a scream of pain. Unfortunately the other had raised his, not even bothering to get up before, and it strikes you between the shoulder blades. It hurts a lot, but it doesn't knock you down this time, and you scales seem to be holding.
