You're able to easily scale back up the roof, the only things noticing your movements being a few pigeons trying to sleep in their nests who peck a bit at your hands as you haul yourself up and along, before leaping from roof to roof as per usual. The city's easy to navigate with it's slotted together buildings, but it's clear that you're in a more slum like part of town. Unfamiliar honks, beeps and horns sound throughout, and you can see a lot of vehicles belching harsh, black smoke that makes your eyes water and nostrils burn as you pass over it. However, it's not too long before you find something that might be what you're looking for, a squat, fat looking concrete building with a big sign on the front, hanging over the door. It's got a picture of a cartoonish looking bull giving a thumbs up while hold a wad of cash in one hand, with a tagline that says "Mitzi's Buy n' Sell Emporium: Premium deals, with no bull!"

Someone at some point has also drawn a dick and balls on one corner of the sign. Some things never change.

No matter, the lights are open, and you can see someone inside, a tall, tanned, bovine horned woman in ripped jeans and a white t-shirt is hauling things around, the place looks like it's open but still mostly empty at the moment.

I enter Mitzi's, surveying as much as I can. I make sure to note down weapons, raw materials, information and anything else that might be useful. I also keep an eye out for clothes that fit better.

I was originally planning on getting her cock back after a boss fight using something she'd gotten back from them, I wasn't expecting you to just take off with the stuff you'd gotten earlier though so I had to shift some things around. If that's unsatisfactory, I can go ahead and set a timer for it instead.

"Hey, welcome!" The shopkeeper calls out, coming from a back room and rolling her shoulder. She's pretty damn tall, roughly seven feet, with a solid and muscular tanned body and short, messy blonde hair. Her face is somewhat angular, with sharp cheek bones and thinnish lips, giving her an aggressive, confident impression bolstered by the crooked grin and bright amber eyes. She stretches out a little more as she approaches, her breasts giving yours a run for their money and then some as they strain against the white fabric of her shirt, a sky blue bra showing a bit underneath the white cotton fabric.

"So, whatcha wantin?" She asks, gesturing towards several spots. "Over here's clothing, mostly used stuff but a lot of it ain't got too many holes in it, I might have to help ya sort through it a bit though, hard to find shirts to fit certain parts after a certain size, know what I mean?" She jokes, nodding at the shelves and racks of shirts, pants, shorts, jackets and various other items, with socks, shoes and underwear on other shelves nearby. Off in the back, behind the counter and guarded by a thick glass like locked door, you can see a collection of weaponry, some of which are pretty familiar: knives, batons, fisticuffs, and other smaller items mostly used by people looking for a cheap self defense weapon, but above them you can see heavier weaponry, short cleaver and sword like weapons, a few spiked hammers, and even a big firearm about as long as you are tall, with twin barrels. You can sense powerful magic from that, as well as an equally potent price tag. Off to the corner, in an area that's clearly rarely used, you can find books and small, orb like devices about big enough to fill up the palm of your hand, and Mitzi follows your gaze to them. "Oh yeah, you got kids? I think a lot of that stuff's school books and Idiot's Guide type stuff. It's pretty basic, but you know, kids like the flashin' likes and battles. Least I did."

The rest was fairly mundane, tools, toys, the odd bicycle or skateboard, even cheap building materials and pet goods. You get the feeling that this place was mostly where people just offloaded stuff that they wanted to get rid of when they needed some quick cash, and stuff that folks bought when they wanted something cheap. If you wanted something specific, you'd probably have to ask Mitzi herself.

She gives you an inquisitive look, in the event that you want to ask about anything specific.

Up to you, but I think having a 'timer' that will do it would also make sense as she strikes me as vain enough to force it to try and grow back. We can still shoot for a boss event though.

Much of the electrical systems in my Portable Space were wiped out, so the light is coming from the weird transdimensional light emitted by the fog that surrounds anything I place inside. I also control the temperature and almost everything about the space, but it might be worthwhile to get some kind of portable hand generator or something so that I can keep any electrical devices working properly. Maybe some cooking devices as well.

I slip my hand behind me, pulling the various valuable trinkets out to get a bid on it so I know how much money I have to work with. I survey the various cheap weapons, knowing that I'll probably need at least some of them. I'll also probably need magical materials to bring my other golem online, most likely a cook or other specialized servant. I pick up a few of the cheaper self defense weapons, knowing I can imbue them with my rune magic, although with my hobbled magical gathering ability, I doubt I'll get too much out of them. The gun is probably far too expensive for me.

"Yes, thank you. I would like some help picking out new clothing, I lost a great deal of luggage, only saving a bit of my valuables that I had set aside for travel. Hm, I also have some issues getting a hold of proper electrical power supplies, so a portable generator and battery pack should work nicely. And probably some of those kids books and such. Have to keep the little ones distracted you know." I smile at the large woman, happy to be meeting such a helpful woman.

Alrighty, I'll start a counter for ten turns then, starting on your next post. Depending on what happens I might have to throw in some kinda curve ball though, too sleepy to know if or what to do with it then.

"Alrighty, I don't have anything heavy duty in terms of electrical power, but I've got a few batteries and an old crank generator in store..." Mitzi mumbles, as much to herself as to you as she inspects the jewelry you're showing. "Huh, this is pretty neat looking stuff, don't recognize the design much though. Where you from anyway?" she asks idly, the somewhat harder stare she's giving you from the side showing a small trickle of suspicion before she turns to lead you to the clothes section. "It's pretty warm out, but you'll probably want some kinda hoodie as well, just in case. Lotta people out there who get kinda handsy with ya if you go out lookin' too skimpy. You'll probably also want some of these." She says, holding up a matching set of bra and panties, they give off a faint magical residue when you look at them. "These're enchanted to either cool you down or warm you up based on your body's reaction to the environment around you. They won't stand up to an open flame or blizzard, but they can help with regular heat and cold, and we got a few different colors if you wanna try em'."

Once you pick up your choices of clothing (Pick whatever you like), you go to the books.

"You know, if you're moving into town, it's probably not a great idea." she remarks, showing you various books about "The Great, Honorable and Peaceful City State of Katowasa", A history book about what's been going on over the past few hundred years, some basic childrens' math books, and some brochures about the great tourist attractions, and the palace of a figure known as the Great Ruler.

I also pick up the history books and tourist brochures, and anything science or magic related, but leave the math books behind. If I've got enough money left, I also pick up some tools and other odds and ends that should make my life and Portable Space a bit better. Weapons would be nice too, but I doubt I'll need much that they have.

Once you've got all the stuff you're going to purchase, Mitzi helps to carry it over to the counter and moves to calculate the total. Your jewelry should be plenty valuable in regards to making up for the total, with plenty of cash to spare, and as she meets out the bill, she takes a moment to retrieve some money from the back, as she doesn't have enough in the register itself.

"Oh, right. Word of advice since you look like you're new here, don't hang around these streets too much at night, especially around the Eastern side of town." the cowgirl warns, placing a stack of cash adorned with the face of a smiling elephant. Oh good, I'm glad that my body is finally getting its shit in order, only took so long. No, I shouldn't be this upset, I wasn't expecting it to get altered, and I need to rest as well. I take my bags of goodies, taking a bit of time to organize the parts that fit in the backpack, and then carrying the rest out before I duck into an alleyway, flipping to my Portable space. I set the equipment down in my space, bringing over GG and pointing out the games and such for now. I use my storage space for the cash and clothing, but let my prisoners and guest handle the electronics as they desire.

I head toward where I've got my cot set up, bringing the history and other books with me, planning to get in some light reading before I take a little nap. With how early in the morning it is, I should have time for a four or five hour nap after I get some knowledge in me to process. Once my initial studying and nap are finished, I'll begin to head out to the tourist locations, trying to get a feel for the city layout, and keep my eyes and ears open for anything of value.

Mitzi waves goodbye to you as you leave and head back to a cleared alleyway, relatively clear anyway, if you count the rats. Upon entering your pocket realm, you're greeted by GG sitting with Wool Head and Oldilocks. Wool Head is still mad as hell and looks like she's waiting for an opportunity to cut your throat in your sleep, Oldilocks is resigned but defiant, sitting on her knees with her hands on her legs like some sort of samurai in a suit, and GG is, well, still scared but at least cooperative. she thanks you for the stuff and sets about trying to help her friends keep their spirits up. with them. This may or may not be successful.

The books prove to be at least somewhat useful, mentioning a lot of events that appear to be mostly centered around two thousand years ago to relatively close to today's time, some of the events seem familiar to you, mentioning dragons and how many of them disappeared or were slain by great heroes in monstrous, cataclysmic wars and driven into strange, unreachable places. Another mentions a rise of kingdoms and empires in and around the continent, including the states of Katowasa, Vespucia and Trevalia. Vespucia is supposedly to the west, a city located on the sea itself and supported by great migrating turtles, censored by the wizard lords who rule there while Trevalia is described as a warlike, barbaric land to the north, situated on a vast plain and ruled by a race of warlike centaurs, who refuse to allow trespassers into their lands on pain of death, and the invention of star engines has amplified the threats of their raids and assaults many fold, as they now soar through the sky on hooves of fire.

It would appear that in the absence of the dragons, people have even straight up left the planet, using more of these star engines to explore nearby planets and even the moon!

In regards to local areas and points of interest, there are several in the brochures and small booklets you got: In the Red Light District are brothels, gambling halls, bars and Dropium dens to peruse, while towards the center lies the Great Palace, in the southern side of town you read about a dojo, a martial arts school founded by an ancient warrior who is said to have slain multiple dragons in her time, and is open to both new students and challengers, and finally there's the temple of Katowa, the goddess who is said to be the protector of these lands, a deity connected to the earth and river apparently, though there's some notes about it being dangerous to go there as well, at certain times. After reading all this, you find yourself drifting off to sleep, and your eyes slowly close...

After a moment, you can hear it too, a distant ringing and beeping noise, coming from your main office/lab area. It didn't sound quite like the alert you'd get if your cock had been developed, though that was probably not too far off from now.

That can wait just a little bit though, as you see that there's something in your office that you hadn't placed before, something that looks a touch like a monitor or slate, with the symbol of a draconic eye staring at you from it and the ringing coming from it. You recognized that symbol, it was the one that the elder council used, which probably meant that this was a communications device.

The council of elders had quite a few dragons in it, mostly because since they'd left most of the world, the dragons' main causes of death, adventurers with magical, pointy things and each other in feuds and struggles were drastically cut short. This coupled with the very long life span of your average dragon meant that a lot of dragons got to be old, and so they achieved the rank of elder and took part in guiding draconic society within the Hidden City, supposedly anyway. However, even within this council it was fairly easy to tell which ones actually had some power and authority beyond the fact that their balls, tits, or both had started sagging about three hundred years ago, and you were looking at one of them.

Striga Shadowtail, a graying Shadowtail dragon with slicked back hair, wearing your clan's traditional garb of a black robe with dark green accents, showcasing the colors associated with Venom dragons. He was being pretty nonchalant and informal it seemed, going by the pipe in his hand and the smoke coming out of his mouth. You could almost smell the sweet pipeweed that he seemed to have on him at all times, a personal vice.

"Hi Koram. I see you've found out about your body. Nice work, don't you think?" the old fuck opens up with a sly, arrogant smirk. "I was a bit scared that you might've gotten pretty badly messed up on the transit, but thankfully you're not missin' any limbs and such...well, you're missin' one or two parts I imagine."
