The fellow members of your clan have been catching sight of these strange invaders... they have asked you to investigate a village near the edges of your husband's lands for now, as two others sent to check it out have not returned or sent any word. They suggest you say that you have some old family business to tend to out there as a reason to leave.

Moving forward, through the trees you can see some smoke, and as you get closer to the edge of the village, more strange sounds. Heading on in, still keeping to the shadows, you infiltrate the village and round a corner... and freeze. In the middle of the village is a strange unnatural looking pod inbedded into the ground.
