Crystalsinger laughs at that, a deep hearty chuckle. "Oh no. Nothing like that, and I highly suggest you refrain from mentioning, or even thinking that in her presence. She's just... committed. She has a deep hatred for undead, but has certain... requirements for her activities, so she has to travel in parallel with the sun." She mentions, finishing up the meal.

I furrow my brow at that last part... What does that even mean?

She notes your confusion. "Ah, the world is a ball, and it spins. The sun is on one side, so the 'dark' is constantly moving around the world in a circle. She can't handle sunlight." That doesn't help that much.

True, but the world being round is probably easier to verify on a flying mountain. If it were flat and infinite, then elevating a mile or so into the air wouldn't give you so much more vision.

I nod, not really understanding more then her words, musing on something I can grasp, "To think the world is so big it takes a full twenty four hours to go from one end to the other."

Maybe but that doesn't mean he'll grasp the concept of timezones since he never actually goes far enough to experience it and has no other reference for it. It's just a concept to him.

"She doesn't always make it through a trip, she frequently has to stop and clear out any undead lairs that she finds, which can take some time. I'll have a note for her sent to the various cities. Once she reaches one, and receives it, I expect she'll fly here and I'll send someone for you. The way this spell is structured is... interesting."

I nod, not entirely sure of the logistics, but it sounds like she has it sorted.

With that, the two of you do some light chatting while you finish up the meal, and Crystal singer drops all of the dishes in a box on the counter, which sees them magically start getting cleaned, all of the left over foods sliding off into a drain that leads somewhere else.

I watch the magic, fascinated by it, as I try to break down what magic I'm seeing before looking at Lady Crystalsinger, "Is there anything else you need me for?"

One idea both as a nice gesture to make up with Drameer and so we don't have to constantly type Crystalsinger is for her to tell him to call her by her hopefully shorter first name.

She stops and thinks a bit. "Well, you could call me Ilixis instead of Lady Crystalsinger. That makes me feel old." She gives you that bright smile before telling you everything else is fine.

I look at her in surprise. For someone like her to not be called by her title but rather her given name is highly unusual and reserved for those closest to her. At least normally. I'm not sure why she is doing this but I nod, "Okay Ilixis. I do need to check on Fynn and see how her project is going, but that's not an immediate thing."

"Good, I'm glad we can be friends." She seems... lonely? You suspect seeing everyone you know except a handful of children grow old and die, assuming that her children haven't had that happen as well, leads for a very lonely life. The addition of undead magic might extend your own, so maybe she's looking to add you to a small collective of friends? "Still, we should probably check on her. I poached her mate for the night after all."

"I can come by some other time if you want." I offer, not entirely sure what else to do.

"Hm, maybe. I'll see what kind of schedule I've got going on." She smiles to you, before she manages to get up. Her body seems to have processed all the cum you filled her up with by this point, and she's back to the svelte if a little plump figure she had before. She takes you to the small boat, steering back to the small village you call home.

I thank her and think of the journey dealing with her has been during the trip home. As we land I say my goodbyes before heading to the workshop.

The shop is quiet, Fynn apparently still being asleep. No telling where Mara has gotten to, but Fynn should be above in the living quarters, right? When you get up there, you see a half dressed Fynn splayed across what appears to be a bundle of hay thrown in one corner, loudly snoozing. You blink at her, surprised, as... she's got a bit of belly showing. She was flat and rock hard just yesterday, but it seems that Ilixis was right, and your babies growing in her are going to be done much sooner than normal.

Why... why she sleeping on a hay bale! We have a bed! I then notice the belly... That's insane. Well, let's get her to the actual bed first, and we'll worry about that when she's up. I move to her and gently pick her up to take her to the bed.

You move to scoop her up, nearly throwing out your back as you realize this earth element channeling does a lot more than simply harden her flesh. Yes, let's not do that, and you should probably be thankful that she didn't destroy your bed overnight by laying on it.

I release the earth magic and try again.

She snorts, but her skin quickly softens and heads back toward normal. She's much easier to pick up this time, weighing less than half what you do.

I place her in the bed, and tuck her in, before sighing. Not entirely sure what to do at this point I decide to check in with mom.
