"Well lucky you, I was was thrown down a pit because my mom was done with me... Still, I don't think you'll be greeted by any warmed welcome then I would wearing what looks to be a functional artifact," She gives a devilish grin, her eyes not breaking from you for even a second as she clearly has as much trust for you as you do for her.

"You don't happen to know anything about this artifact do you? I kind of just woke up, and it sometimes responds to words, but not always. I'm not sure what's going on." I decide to play dumb. It's easy because I'm only slightly more of what's going on than I'm pretending to be.

"Nope. Just know that most artifacts are useless wrecks of what they once were, but that one still has magic clinging to it... That means it's at least in the same category of treasure that nations fight over," She shrugs, "Though if it is intelligent as you say... then it might just be the most valuable item in the world."

"Like I said, I can't tell if it's being intelligent, or if it's broken and only hears me some of the time." I continue to try and play coy. "Maybe you can show me the way out if you know it?"

[Sallin_Kari]

"Do you think I'm down here for fun? Or do you think I'm just stupid?" She sharply questions you, before shrugging, "Regardless, you'd be dead within a day if you boldly walked into the surface wearing that... Especially with that attitude."

"Fine. Look. I don't know what I'm doing. And I'm scared. And I just lost an arm. And... and and." I nearly break down right there. That's probably not a good thing to show the only person who's presented themselves as a possible ally.

"Clearly not," She sighs, before gesturing towards you vaguely as she tries to decide what to do. "Okay, I may be able to help you, but you need to help me in return. First off, what exactly can your suit do? Can it tell you? It seemed to replace your arm at least."

Does knowing your name do anything? I don't know much of magic, but I remember something about names. I hold up the strange new metallic appendage. I also extend a pair of blades from the arms. "I think it can heal me to, although I haven't been injured since I put it on, so I don't know for sure."

Unless you tell an inter-dimensional creature who wishes to summon me to their service, then simple knowledge of a name is of little use. Besides, I don't think it is quite relevant for items.
"Well you did get fucked by a cave troll so you should be at least more durable," she shrugs, "But it at least seems to have some combat abilities... First thing we need to do is get you to a usable state if we're going to leave."

"Okay. What do you recommend?" I ask. Best to keep you a secret for now I think.

If you can. She seems persistent. "Well, first off, let's spar a bit so I got an idea of what you got... and how much work I got ahead of me," She shrugs letting out a very obvious sigh.

I put up my hands in a pose that I think I've seen people use before. I also spread my legs, you need leverage in a fight, right?

Her head drops in disappointment, "What do you think you'll accomplish with that pose?" All of a sudden she closes the gap to you. You try to react but she slips behind you, wrapping her powerful tail around your neck. With sudden pull, you are slammed onto the ground, as the tail constricts around your neck. Luckily your new armor seems to be saving you from being strangled or otherwise hurt during this. "Oh?" You hear her mutter with a piqued curiosity. The force on your throat seems to double with each passing second before even the suit can't stop it and you feel your breath cut short. Panic sets in as soon as you realize this, before the pressure is suddenly gone. "Well, if nothing else, that armor of yours will allow you to take a beating."

I frantically try to elbow her as she neatly wraps me up. With her positioned the way she is, there's nothing else I can really do unless I sprout spikes from my back or something.

Catching your elbow, she laughs at your attempts to fight before casually flicking her tail, body slamming you into a wall, before you drop to the ground. Luckily it didn't hurt, but you're clearly on a very different playing field. "I think I have enough of an idea. Your armor is providing you with great protection but you have no idea what you're doing or how to use it," She says wistfully, "So we'll have to start from the ground up."

Ira comments, Initial analyzes indicates that this creature is a dragon/demon hybrid. Poses incredible danger. Caution is suggested.

"Well. I'm not a fighter. I mine. But I can learn if need be." I tell her, trying to get up and move. "Do we do it here and now, or do we try to escape first. I'd rather not eat cave troll if I can help it."

"That's why we're doing this," She explains, watching you get back on your feet, "We'll have to stay underground because there will be a constant chance that we'll be attacked as soon as we go above ground, so I'd like to ensure you're ready. That's not to say that we have to stay here. I have a place I'm currently staying and some food. Not the best food, but also not cave troll steaks."

"I think I'm good for a bit. We can keep practicing, show me the ground." I tell her, hoping she'll have a good idea on how to train me.

"I could, but..." She looks over at the cave troll's cave, "Unless you want to get impregnated by cave trolls again, I'd say we should still move to my little slice of the underdark for some privacy."

"Yes. Let us move away. I don't like cave trolls." I mention to her, looking to follow her along. What can you tell me about your abilities without showing me?
