The life of an Adventurer. If you wanted to be free, there was no more fitting lifestyle. Of course, a stable income wasn't a guarantee, and the competition would sometimes be very fierce, but it was alife where adventure and heroics were aplenty. Of course, it was also tiring work, having to travel from town to town to find suitable work and variety. Having recently arrived in the town of Ratviel, Yoko would have had some time to explore the quaint little town before sundown. The town itself only had one road paved in cobblestone, while the rest of it had to deal with trampled paths of what once used to be the wilderness. Surrounding the town was a wooden wall made out of sturdy looking logs, and a moat to keep monsters from ravaging the town. Most of the buildings were residential, with exception of the Town Hall, the church, the guild, the Inn and the barns at the outskirts of town. All the buildings were made out of wood, while the more important ones seemed to at least have a foundation out of stone. It was clearly still a new town, but despite this, it was big, and prospering from trade.

With the evening upon her, Yoko would find herself at the inn, sitting at the bar, with a fellow adventurer offering her a drink after having introduced himself as Heifelm, a sorcerer.

Yoko lets out a content sound that was a mix of a sigh and meow as she drinks down her beer as she sat at the inn's bar enjoying a drink after a good day of work. She isn't going to be drinking alone though as a fellow adventurer, a sorcerer type she notices by his robes, offers her a drink and Yoko was not one to turn down a free drink. "Thanks pal." She said to him as she accepts the drink from him and holds it up for a cheers before she downs some of it. "So...Heifelm was it? What brings a magic user like you to such a town?" She asks before taking another swing of her drink.

Heifelm turned out to be quite talkative, explaining how he had found out a wealthy merchant was enroute to this town, and that once he arrived, he was hoping to snag up the inevitable escort quest that would appear in the guild once the merchant decided to leave town. However, until then, he planned to enjoy himself int he town as much as he could and maybe do some shorter, simpler quests to raise his reputation and get some spending money. He would return the question to Yoko, but afterwards, Yoko wouldn't remember much else, besides more drinks and Heifelm talking a lot until she blacked out.

Yoko would awake to a cold breeze and a sore body being pricked by the unmistakable sensation of hay. The smell that assaulted her as she breathed in was the terrible combination of hay, sex and catnip. As it happened, Yoko had awakened naked in a stack of hay, wearing a necklace of catnip, and her skin stained with dried cum, making it a simple task to figure out why her body was sore. The lingering taste in her mouth was of beer and something else she couldn't place, while her breath stunk of cum. Getting out of the hay pile, she'd realize that her clothes, or any of her things in general were nowhere to be found. Not only had she been taken advantage of, but she had also been robbed!

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

I hope this works. I'm giving you a real challenge from the start, if you appreciate it, we can keep going. However, if you want an easier start, I can grant you that.

Yoko proceeds to make conversation with Heifelm and enjoy her free drink. She listens to his talk about some kind of merchant he can maybe escort out of town later on and what to do before that. She would answer his questions though she wouldn't remember what they are as things start to get blurry and soon her memory of that time is gone as she blacks out.

When she finally awakens she finds herself laying in a pile of hay naked, smelling of sex, and for some reason wearing a necklace of catnip... She groans as she sits up and tries to wipe some of the dried cum from her body as she tries to remember what happened to her. She finds her memory to be blank though but after a bit she manages to figure out at least what happened to her, making her blush deeply in humiliation and shame before her expression is replaced with one of shock and horror as she realizes that she's been completely robbed! Throwing off the catnip she looks around as her hands cover herself. Yoko tries to see if she can find any of her things but nothing, not even her clothing or even her underwear. She tries to calm down as she looks around to see where she even is.

Looking out of the barn through the cracks around the door, Yoko would find herself to be in one of the smaller barns at the outskirts of town, just inside of the wall. It was positioned a bit away from the gate leading outside the wall, and into the fields, but the area around the barn was still decently busy as wagons and farm animals were being led around as the farmers were getting ready for another day of work.

As for the Catnip, Yoko would remember the effect it had on cats. While it normally didn't affect her, she had at one point in her past, found out that cathumans like her, could still fall to its allure when under the effects of alcohol. It seemed some else aware of this, had taken full advantage.

Of course, this wasn't really all that important, considering Yoko's current situation. She could count herself lucky that she had woken up before the owner of the barn had come to check on it. Of course, it was only a matter of time before someone would come here and find her. She would need to leave before then is she wanted to avoid further embarrassment. Perhaps, if she were to search the barn from top to bottom, she would be able to find something she could use to cover herself.

Peeking though the barn doors she sees that there are others outside working and she quickly backs away as she blushes deeply, an arm moving to cover her breasts as her tail moves down to cover her pussy. She did not want to go outside where others are while she is naked and in her current state. She needed something to clean and cover herself up.

Backing away from the barn doors she starts to look around the barn for anything she could use, whether some water to clean herself just a bit or, and what she is more hopeful for, clothes to wear even if they don't fit her well. Yoko tries to move fast while still being thorough as she had no idea when someone might come into the barn.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

1d100= 75. Success.

Yoko, while searching the barn would not be able to find any clothing. All she could find was a big barrel of water with a rag hanging on its edge, wet from the water. The rag was about big enough that it could be used to cover either her bottom, or her top, barely. The water in the barrel was mostly clean, with some stray hay and dirt floating on the surface. Besides the barrel, she would have found a pitchfork for the hay, as well as a hammer, a box of nails and a set of scythes and sickles stored within the barn. There also seemed to be another door out which led into an alley between the barn and the town wall, it was however locked with a heavy padlock from the outside.

Fortunately for Yoko, it seemed that no one was coming yet, leaving Yoko to decide on what to do next without any need to worry, for now.

While she couldn't find any clothes Yoko did at least find some clean water with a rag so using that she cleans herself off, even making sure her hair and tail are clean as well since her nudity was bad enough but she didn't want to look like a used slut either. Once done cleaning she dries the rag the best she could before seeing if she couldn't use it as a makeshift loincloth to cover her lowers for now. Looking around some more she finds the door that leads to the back but is locked with a pad lock. Grabbing a hammer she found earlier she tries to see if she couldn't break the padlock off before anyone comes by. Hopefully with all the work outside no one will hear her trying to break off the lock.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Crafting roll 1d100= 49 Success.
Destruction roll 1d100= Fail.

While Yoko was able to clean herself from all the cum, it still left her somewhat damp after wiping herself down with the piece of cloth. As she tried using it as a makeshift loincloth, it took some effort stretching it, but she eventually managed to pin two of the corners together around her waist, using one of the nails to put them together. This way, enough of the fabric remained to actually cover her nether regions... at least, from eye level. Anyone below her waist, like a dwarf would still have full view of her shame.

Unfortunately, Yoko had a lot less luck with breaking the lock using the hammer, considering the padlock was hung on the outside, rather than the inside, making it impossible to hit it directly, meaning all Yoko managed to do was to dent the door a bit with the hammer. Either she needed to find another way, or leave through the unlocked door in plain view of others.

Glad to have something covering her lower parts she at least could save herself a bit of embarrassment though she still needs to be careful. She mainly just wished she had a pin to keep the rag together and not a nail but she wasn't going to complain. However her next plan didn't go as well as the lock couldn't really be hit by the hammer and eventually she gives up with that current idea. Looking at the other tools at her disposal she tries the pitchfork, pushing the handle through the chains and then tries to break them off by using pulling down the other end and using the leverage to maybe break the chain or pry off whatever part they were tied to. If this fails she looks around for maybe another way out.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Destruction roll 1d100= 82 Success.

Changing her tactic, and trying to break the padlock using the pitchfork was a success, as the latch held in place by the lock, was actually broken off from the wood it was attached to from the force of the pitchfork hitting against it through the spring in between the door and the wall, the slimmer point of the pitch fork, able to reach where the hammer couldn't.

Now, as a result, Yoko had a clear escape path from the barn, while not in plain view of a bunch of people. Looking outside the door, she would feel the cold morning air against her damp body, causing her to shiver, and her nipples to harden, even if she only poked her head out, as the opening in the door was enough to let the outside air inside. As for the outside, the alley between the wall and the barn was mostly filled with a big container of some kind with an old, two wheeled wagon parked next to it. It didn't smell particularly nice, and Yoko could guess that the container contained compost. Fortunately for her, no one else seemed to have the pleasure of having to smell the compost.

If Yoko chose to go out into the alley, she would only have 4 options as to where she could go next, without turning back and go back inside into the marginally warmer space inside the barn. Her options included the end of the alley on her left, which led to the are filled with people doing their jobs where the other entrance into the barn was located. The opposite end of the alley which she hadn't explored yet. Her other two options, were to try and climb the wall, although the risk was high that someone might see her, or to climb the barn, where the risk of someone seeing her was lower, only that climbing up to the roof of the Barn would be harder, than if she were to climb the wall.

Yoko almost stumbles a bit when the latch gives way and with it the padlock and chain drop to the ground. She smiles and does a bit of a cheer as she now has her way out and walks over to the door. The cat girl takes a moment to peek outside the door to make sure no one is around and slowly she sneaks out through it. She shudders a bit as she feels the cool air against her body, still a bit damp from the cleaning, and her nipples harden almost instantly. Looking into the alley she seemed to be alone for now and looks for which way to go.

Thinking over her options she goes to the end of the alley where she didn't know led to yet. Her goal at the moment is to either find some clothes or get back to the inn where she last remembered being and hopefully find the bastard that stole her belongings.

What was revealed at the end of the alleyway, was the familiar sight of the towns residential district, meaning it was an area containing nothing but houses people lived in, and also a well or two from which they could collect water. This early in the morning, the farming district was bustling with activity, yet the residential district still looked like a ghost town. Although, Yko would be aware that there were still guards patrolling around the residential district this early in the morning. That should be a fact in every town after all.

Now, Yoko's earlier options remained the same, with the addition of attempting to sneak through the residential district, avoiding guards and hoping not to be seen, while potentially stealing someone's laundry to clothe herself. From there, she could try figuring out a way to get back to the Inn, which was coincidentally in the same direction, as it was located at the other end of the residential district, where it bordered on the commercial district.

Seeing that she's next to the residential district and knowing that the inn is on the other side of this district Yoko knew which of her options to take. With so many homes she really only needs to avoid guards this early in the morning. If she's lucky she might be able to find some clothes to borrow till she got her things back. Making sure the coast is clear she starts to sneak her way to and through the residential district, trying to stick to the shadows if possible. As she is sneaking through she tries to peek into yards if she could to see if anyone had left some clothes out for her to quickly take.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Encounter roll 1d100= 85. No encounter.
Stealth roll 1d100= 2. [Results Not perceived].
Perception roll 1d100= 47. Failed.
2nd Encounter roll= 36. No encounter.
Luck roll= 92. Incredible success.

Yoko would have the luck on her side as she went through the Residential district, as she didn't run into any guards. It also became clear to her that the guards were not the best at their job, as they moved with little discipline, and their armor gave away their position as they got close, making them all the more easy to avoid.

Unfortunately, this led Yoko to make a crucial mistake as she went through the residential area. While she might have avoided the guards, she didn't get through the area unseen. Unaware to Yoko, there were plenty of people that had ended up seeing her walking in between the houses. After all, each and every house had windows, and staying out sight of all of them was impossible. While it might have been early, there were still people awake, and plenty of those who were, ended up seeing Yoko sneaking around, nearly naked, looking into people's yards.

For Yoko however, things seemed to be going great. Finally finding a yard with laundry hung up, long since dry in the wind, she could finally get dressed. In fact, not only did she find woman clothing, but it actually fit her perfectly on top of it. The only possible complaint being the boring colors and that they weren't really meant for a cat person like her, but beggars can't be choosers after all. Having underwear on again felt great, and she could finally feel warm again, instead of being cold in the morning air, with a constant breeze to her womanhood. Now, with clothes on, she no longer had to worry as much about the guards, as long as they didn't ask for her identity, considering she didn't have her guild card at the moment, the only form of ID she otherwise owned. Getting a new one wouldn't just be a hassle, but also expensive, and without one, it would not be easy getting into a town if she ever left this one without it.

Luckily for Yoko it seems that the guards are not taking their job seriously right now making it easier for her to avoid them or to hide from them till they were gone. However she doesn't realize that guards aren't the only ones she'll need to avoid as she sneaks through the district as people living in their houses might see her through the window. She doesn't think much of it right now, trying to focus on avoiding guards and not being caught by anyone as she makes her way to the inn.

Soon though she finds that luck is even more on her side as she finds some clothes which she doesn't even complain about at all considering she has nothing but a make shift loincloth to work with. Soon she had some underwear on and some clothes. Granted the underwear was lacy and sexy but she didn't mind as the plain shirt and skirt hid them for now. With clothes on she didn't feel the need to hide as much as she only needed to avoid attention so she now tries to calmly but swiftly get back to inn and hopefully find the bastard that stole her things and get them back because she's really going to need that guild card back.

Now wearing clothes, Yoko would find herself being able to just walk on the street, like a normal person.

Arriving back at the Inn, she'd finds it looking much the same as she remembered it. Although, this early in the morning it is practically empty, a person or two eating breakfast while the owner stood behind the counter, already working on preparing things for the evening, while someone in the kitchen was working on breakfast for those awakening. The pleasant smell of food, reminding Yoko that she hadn't eaten anything this morning, or even in the evening as far as she could remember, her stomach suddenly feeling exceedingly empty, her awakening this morning suggesting there was nothing but the empty calories of alcohol and cum filling her stomach during the night, now long since gone and replaced by hunger.

"Welcome, here for breakfast?" The woman at the counter asks upon noticing her come in, giving her a quick look up and down, and frowning as she noted that Yoko didn't seem to be carrying any gear, backpack or coin purse she could use to pay for a meal. "Or is there something else I can help you with?" She adds.

With clothes on she is able to quickly walk through the town and head to the inn. Yoko tries not to walk too fast to draw attention by guards but she was in a hurry to find her stolen items. When she entered the inn's tavern she looks around quickly for the mage she drank with last night, though she couldn't help but feel rather hungry as she smells the scent of food coming from the kitchen. Pushing her hunger down for now she walks up to the woman behind the bar and is quick to ask her, "Do you remember the man I was talking to here last night? I need to find him because that bastard drugged me and then robbed me for all I had!" She said, not really able to fully contain her voice as this is a serious issue for her.

"Oh, I see. I am sorry to hear that. But the last time I saw that man was while leaving together with you. I am sorry dear, but there's nothing I can tell you. You should ask the guards and the guild to help you. If needed, I can vouch for you." The owner tells her, before looking towards the kitchen. "Hey Lambo, prepare me a bowl of today's stew!" She calls into the kitchen, before turning back to smile at Yoko. "On the house. You look like you're starving, and I doubt you have any money on you. Think of it as an apology for not realizing he was up to no good. I mistook the two of you as friends since you were both adventurers." She explains, remaining with her before a man, probably Lambo, came out with a bowl of hot stew, and a mug of water to go with it, putting it down in front of Yoko when the owner indicated her.

Yoko's feline ears drop a bit when the innkeeper couldn't help her in locating the man but at the very least she is given some advice. Before she could leave the woman calls towards the kitchen and her ears perk back up with her expression as she is given a free meal. Her stomach growls a bit as the stew is placed down in front of her. "Thank you very much." She said quickly with a smile before she quickly starts to devour the stew with the mug of water. Once done she gives the innkeeper her thanks again before heading to the guild, remembering that the mage guy was talking about some kind of merchant job.
