Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Name:Naomi Tanaka
Age: 25
Appearance: Image
Bio/history: Naomi was a young girl when the infection broke out, a child of Japanese Immigrants, Naomi was given most of the skills and lessons neccessary to live in a way that she was beneficial to society. She was a good fighter, even going as far as to forgo guns and use bladed weapons where most would falter. Though growing up in this new age also caused.. some changes to the young woman's world view, her mother and father were MIA from the start of the mass panic that ensued the news that the dead were rising since then she's been in the company of mostly good folks, but some of the rules around the colony are.. strange to say the least hence why she became one of the best Scouts in the colony trying to avoid spending too much time in the colony, but even then.. she has to have some down time thats when she finds herself in the public use toilet a little too often eagerly doing her service to the colony.

The sunrise signaled another busy day in Haven as the residents roused from their slumber once more and went about their daily business. After that day all those years ago, you had fled your home and moved inland away from the coast, the crowded cities were only places for the dead to gather and feed now. Surviving on your own had proven difficult but some kind strangers had taken you into their care until you had all found Haven together. It wasn't easy to find, Haven was built deep in the forest to keep hidden from zombies and humans with ill intentions alike, and building a colony so far away from cities to salvage from wasn't easy but the founders of Haven were committed to making a home where people could be safe. Growing up here instilled that same sense of duty to contribute to the good of the colony in you, as well as had you grow accustomed to some of their stranger ways of doing things.

After preparing for the day ahead you made your way out into the center of the colony as you did most every day, greeting the familiar faces until you came to stand in front of the job board where needed tasks were listed. Today there were a few that caught your eye.

Forage for supplies: There was a town not more than about half a day away from the forest Haven resided in. It had been pretty picked over throughout the years, but there was still supplies to be had at the risk of encountering zombies, as well as traps set by the colonies hunters that needed checking.

Scout Purgatory: Purgatory was another nearby colony that was pretty firmly opposed to your own. Men were firmly in control there and women were kept as slaves. They often attempted to raid Haven in order to steal supplies and capture women from your colony. Scouting them out was dangerous, but important as keeping a close watch on their movements was imperative to your survival.

More public use toilets wanted: This one was here pretty much every day. The women of Haven took turns but some were less fond of it than others and would always appreciate a break. Good public use toilets were great for colony morale as well.

Nothing else really jumps out at you, but the leader of Haven was aware of you and your skills and might also have some work for you.

Naomi stood within the colony walls at the job board always constantly looking for something to do, or else someone would come along and make that decision for her, then well it’d be a week or two before she would set foot outside of the colony walls.. and even even more time drenched in another person’s cum..

Naomi shook her head, she wasn’t here to take the toilet flyer she was going to do something productive. Foraging for supplies sounds good for now. Something simple, to clear her head and home her skills before she moved onto something else.

You take the listing down from the board so that others will know what this job is spoken for and head the colony's armory to grab your gear and get ready. Most of the weapons and body armor were communal, anyone could take what they needed for the task they had signed up for. Those who ventured out often, such as yourself, had a locker to store their favored gear. It was here you found the usual squad you teamed up with on missions that took you outside the colonies walls.

Jane flashes you her usual grin as you approach. "Hey there Naomi! Nice to see you clothed for a change." She teases as she greets you, hefting the submachine gun she uses and pocketing plenty of ammo for it. Jane was a very carefree individual and sometimes a little too trigger happy, but she could handle herself. She smoked like a chimney, drank like a fish, and despite her comment to you, she spent about as much time on public use duty as you did.

Nadia simply nods to you before going back to checking her rifle, as was usual for her. She didn't talk much, but she had distinctly Russian accent on the occasions she did speak. You got the impression that Nadia didn't care much for you or Jane, but what she lacked in communication and friendliness, she more than makes up for in her expert marksmanship.

And last was Eiji, you can see him blush a little and avert his eyes at Jane's comment. "Ah.... Uh, good morning Naomi." He says, strapping the knives he favors to the inside of his vest and securing his pistol holster to his waist. Though he didn't talk about it much, Eiji was of Japanese descent just like you. He was a pretty easy going guy who's good nature has been the glue that kept your squad together on multiple occasions. Although your time on public use duty often ends up as a bit of a blur, you're fairly certain he shows up a lot on the days you're working. That was his right as a man, but it was a little odd for the someone around Haven to be so coy about it.

"So... What's the plan?" Eiji asks, finally looking up at you, and everyone else looks up from what they're doing as well. Despite it all, you were the most experienced in scouting and they tended to follow your lead. It was autumn and there was plenty of game as wild animals were migrating or stocking up for the winter to come. The traps set would almost assuredly be full, it was only a question of whether you would pick them up on the way into town and carry them the whole time, or do it on the way back and risk something or someone beating you to your own food.

Naomi was more than happy to see her usual squad all together and while yhere was no traditional command structure being one of the founding members of the colony did temd to have its perks. “Well its not my fault its easier to earn ration tokens when Command forces to have downtime.” She says to Jane with a smile. Heading to her locker to grab her trademark body suit and custom lawnmower blades. “Let me check with Command to make sure they arent looking for anything in partcular from Twin Brooks, if not then lets check the traps then head into town but jf they are then we’re going double time it to town then grab what traps we can after.” She says to Eiji before heading to one of the only concrete buildings in the colony, an old lumber mill acts as the central hub for the colony and its second floor had.. well the public use booths and Command.

Eiji nods at your proposal and continues to prep his gear. "Sounds good. We'll meet you at the gate when you're ready." With your gear gathered, you head off to Command. The first floor acted as a sort of resource management center, where rations and equipment were distributed appropriately and incoming resources were checked in and directed to the proper storage areas. It's always busy here as the colony was growing steadily and there was a lot to manage. No one seems to pay you any mind as you head up the stairs to the second floor. As you ascend, the telltale moaning and flesh slapping from the public use booths, muffled only slightly by the walls. It was right at the top of the stairs and there was already a few men waiting for their turn. The offices are further down the hall where administrators did their work. It was probably hard to concentrate with their offices next to the booths, but it did mean that administrators got first dibs.

Any of the administrators could tell you what you wanted to know, but Byron was your go to for things like this. There was no true leader in Haven, but Byron was a founder just like you and probably the most respected when it came to planning and seeing to the colony's needs. He had been part of the group you had first come to Haven with actually. He still treated you kindly after all these years, but his behavior towards you had changed as you had grown up. You knock on the door to his office and hear him call for you to enter. Stepping inside, you see Byron sitting at his desk, going through some paperwork. Beneath his desk you can see a skirt clad rear end sticking out that could only belong to the woman that acted as a secretary of sorts. You can hear wet sucking noises and heavy breathing that makes it fairly obvious what was going on. "Oh, hey Naomi. What do you need?" He inquires, only glancing up from his work for a moment. The woman under his desk continues her work as if this were nothing out of the ordinary, which it wasn't to be fair.

Thankfully none of the men waiting for their turn at the toilets notice the scout as she makes her way to Byron's office, the man was probably a bit younger than her father when this all started but she as with most of the colony respected him greatly. Stepping into his office and noticing almost immediately his secretary was performing her... other duties didnt really affect Naomi if anything she even felt a bit jealous of what was going on. "Heya Chief, im gonna be heading out on this milk run, was Command hoping to find something in Twin Brooks specifically? We dont really hit towns or cities anymore." Naomi says as she tries to calm herself, that deep desire to throw herself on Byron slowly racing up her spine as her racing suit starts to make her sweat.

You could swear you see a small smirk on Byron's face as he glances up. Did he notice your reaction? You did feel a bit red in the face. Either way, he doesn't say anything about it, fishing for a certain document that would answer your question. "Twin Brooks? Let's see.... Well, there's not much left there at the moment unfortunately. It's the closest town to us and it's pretty tapped out by now since it's our go to. But there is still a medical research facility we haven't gotten their research data from." The area around Haven had a number of plants and herbs with medicinal purposes and the facility Byron was talking about was dedicated to their study and government funded. The facility itself had been cleaned out long ago, but without power getting the data wasn't possible. Eiji was handy enough that he could probably get the power going, but that was going to attract a lot of unwanted attention.

As you ponder the possibilities, your thoughts are interrupted by Byron suddenly groaning followed by a contented sigh of relief. A few moments later, his secretary crawls out from under the desk, her cheeks puffed out as she tries to keep Byron's load in her mouth until she can swallow it. She looks to her boss and gulps it all down, opening her mouth and sticking out her tongue to show her empty mouth to which Byron nods. She gives you a slutty smile and wink as she walks past you, licking a few stray ropes of sticky semen from her lips as she takes her seat at a small desk in the corner. Again, Byron makes no acknowledgment of this as he looks to you. "I understand if you don't want to take the risk. It's just fine if you want to just gather what you can and scout out any potential resources you can't take back with you. But those research notes could allow us to develop more potent med kits to take into the field. It would be a big help if you could get them."

Naomi shoots the secretary a jealous look as she strolls past. "That doesnt sound too hard, we'll try our best to get that info." Naomi does a quick salute before walking off swinging her hips for Byron as she steps out of the office and back into the lumber mill. As long as she doesnt get stopped by any men Naomi makes her way for the gate to meet the rest of the team.

Once at her team she informs them of the optional objective, getting the data seemed more important right now so they'll hit the town as fast as possible then loop back to check the traps, as long as poachers from Purgatory dont steal them they should be fine, they havent tried a raid in quite some time. With the team ready to go Naomi sets off ready to strike the medical facility

Byron gives a grateful nod as you agree to attempt to get the research data. He opens a drawer on his desk and slides a small USB drive to you. "That would be very helpful. Just copy the data onto this. Good luck and come back safely to us." He tells you, and you could swear you hear a low whistle as you walk out the door.

Nadia and Jane both seem unconcerned as you tell them about your team's objective, but Eiji looks a little worried, although he always seemed to be like that. He doesn't raise any objections though and the team moves out as planned. Twin Brooks is close enough that using a vehicle wasn't allowed to conserve fuel, so it was just a about a 2 hour walk away. Haven kept the trails clear so your trip to town was uneventful. As you come across one of the brooks that runs through the town and follow it, Nadia splits off from the group to move up to a small hill that overlooks the town and scout it out through the scope of her rifle. After a few minutes she moves back down to give her report. "Few walkers, at least in the streets. No noticeable movement in buildings. Research facility is at the far end of main road. Power generator for facility is within walls of compound. Main road will be quicker by far. Back alleys are probably safer but I could not see." Nadia tells you all briefly. It wasn't surprising that there were few zombies to be seen in the city with how often the nearby colonies came to scavenge, but there was a hive nearby so it might be safer to scout the alleys and buildings for unwanted surprises rather than head straight in.

Thankfully the walk was rather easy, its not to no longer have to deal with walkers and crawlers randomly popping up in the middle of the woods, but still you could never be too careful. When they've reached the town and Nadia has given her report Naomi makes the call that they should stick to back alleys. Rival gangs are the problem in a town thats depopulated, though as long as the hive isnt disturbed there shouldnt be too many walkers. "remember if you see another person dont shoot on sight only in retaliation, Jane, stay here with Nadia and keep an eye out for people or zeds moving in and out of town. Radio in if you guys spot anything. Eiji and I will get the data then we can do just a quick smash and grab then we can get home before nightfall, sound good?"

Encounter roll: 20

Nadia simply nods and returns to her position overlooking the town from the hill at your command. Jane groans but begrudgingly follows, she never did like guard duty but she knew someone had to watch Nadia's back and you needed Eiji for the technical parts of this mission. Eiji follows closely behind you as you make your way through the small town of Twin Brooks. As Nadia had stated, a few walkers were meandering aimlessly up and down the main road, but it was simple enough to slip through the alleys unnoticed. Every building you passed by, Eiji would peer through the window or crack the door slightly to quickly check for danger or anything of use before speeding up to catch up with you again.

The two of you make it to the facility with no problems and find the gate slightly ajar. Someone had been through here and were perhaps still here right now, leading you to proceed with caution, making your way silently to the side of the building where the generator was. You peer around the corner of the building and see a pair of humans down at the other side. One was a man, who seemed to be keeping watch while the woman he was with seemed to be working on the generator. Neither had noticed you just yet. They didn't seem to be from Purgatory, they tended to move in larger numbers and since all their women were slaves, women tended to be less clothed and chained up unlike the one you see. It wasn't totally out of the question, but it seemed more likely they were from another colony with better relations to Haven.

As the pair crept up to the medical facility Naomi was consistently radioing in with Jane to make sure they knew what they were doing and what the saw. The situation felt a bit tense if a bit too easy though. Thankfully like the trip through the woods the trek to the facility was also uncomplicated. This all comes to a head though when they spot other colonists. They didnt look like Purgs but she could never be too safe. "Eiji ready your gun i'll approach stay out of site, shoot them if they make a move for me, i'll give you a signal if its okay to come out into the open." Once they were in position Naomi steps into view with her blades sheathed.

"H-hello are you guys from Fort Joy?"(Fort Joy is a former prison that was re-purposed into a fairly strong colony) "I need to get that generator going, do you think we can help each other? Im from Haven."

"Be careful..." Eiji mumbles, getting into position to cover you. Jane hadn't mentioned the other colonists at all, so Nadia must not have eyes on you. As you round the corner, the man instantly trains his rifle on you and the woman looks up from her work. They both seem to relax slightly when you ask about Fort Joy. "That's right." He replies, lowering his weapon when he hears you are from Haven, your colony having good relations with Fort Joy. "My name is Dale, and this is Lisa. You're after the research here too? I don't see why we couldn't share it. This generator is bound to draw attention once we get it on, so we'll take all the help we can get."

"That sounds good to me, glad you didnt just shoot me haha." Naomi gives a genuine chuckle as she nods at Dale and then to Lisa. "Eiji Lisa could use your help." Doing a hand gesture she calls Eiji out so that they can get to work. "Jane, we've found 2 Fort Joy citizens we're gonna help them get the research but the generator is gonna make a ton of noise why dont you two move to us got it jane?" Naomi scans the horizon to see if she can see the two ladies, wondering if they could even see them from here.

"Getting violent on sight like that would make us no better than the folks from Purgatory. Besides, you had the drop on me, so I should be thanking you." Dale replies with a smile as he nods to Eiji. Eiji wastes no time in getting to work on the generator while you radio Jane, who responds affirmatively. You can practically hear the joy in her voice at the prospect of getting into the action. You can't quite see the hill you left them on from here, but Jane keeps in contact every step of the way.

Jane and Nadia join the four of you in short order and introductions are made all around. Nadia scans the surroundings and you can hear her grumble under her breath about the lack of a good vantage point. "Building is only good spot." She complains. "We should secure before turning on generator to avoid surprises." Jane seems on board with this idea, although putting Nadia on one of the top floors seemed better for hunkering down than it would be for a quick getting in and out.

Naomi breathes a sigh of relief when the two girls finally make it to the facility. "Nadia is right and we dont know how long it'll take to get the files or if they even exist any more. We'll sweep the building then throw on the generator when we've all gotten into a good position. Dale and i will look for the terminal where the info should be, Jane Nadia get up to the roof, Lisa Eiji if you two dont mind just stay by the generator we'll signal when to turn it on, after you throw it on to Dale and I and we can figure a plan of attack out of the facility." Naomi does a quick look around to see if she can see any back doors or windows the team can climb out of it lead out of town in case of emergency.

Taking a look at the facility, it looks to be about 3 stories and there is a fire escape around the back that leads to the roof, but it's looking pretty rusty from such a long period of negligence. Nadia gives a simple nod to your plan as always, but you can tell she looks a little appreciative that you were going with her plan. The four of you leave Eiji and Lisa to their work and enter the facility. The first floor seems dedicated to a reception area and basic check up rooms, there is an elevator that obviously won't work until the power is back on and even then was unlikely to be safe to use. You take the stairs up to the second floor while Jane and Nadia head up to the third floor on their way to the roof. The second floor seems dedicated to research labs which was the most likely place to find the data you were after. Before you can move on to the third floor, your radio crackles to life and you hear Jane's voice. "Got company up on the roof. Just one walker from what I can see. Engaging in CQC." She tells you, and you could swear she sounds happy about it. If there was just one, it shouldn't be a problem for the two but they wouldn't be able to fire their weapons without attracting attention before you were ready.

'That fire escape is going to be a last resort for sure..' Naomi thought to herself as she moved up to the second floor. "Roger that, please dont take unnecessary risks.." Then turning to dale she looks around. "Why dont you go help the girls i can keep looking for the right terminal, then when my sniper is in i'll signal for my guy to start the generator."

Once everyone was set in place Naomi goes to signal Eiji to start the operation hoping to just find the right terminal and the right files then to get the hell out of dodge.

Dale hurries off to the roof at your request leaving you to explore the second floor on your own. There are a number of labs to explore, most of which seem to have been looted already and what was left of the medicines and plants were in no shape to be of any worth. The room that seems most promising has a lone monitor and was full of filing cabinets like a data storage room. Rooting through files could take days in a facility like this, so hopefully the computer was still operational. It looked dusty, but undamaged. As you look over the room, your radio sounds once again. "That's one down so far!" You hear Jane's excited voice, though she does sound pretty winded. "Our eagle eye has her nest set up and ready to go when you are Naomi."

Dale returns to you, apparently Jane had taken the walker on alone and come out on top before he even needed to intervene. Everything was in place so you signal Eiji and Lisa to start the generator. Even from inside, you can hear the loud rumbling and whirring of the generator coming to life after such a long time being off and the lights and electronics in the building soon follow suit. Thankfully, the computer you found comes on just fine as well, albeit a little slow to boot up.

Mental check: 5 fail

Unfortunately, being a government facility and all means the research was encrypted and you are nowhere near skilled enough to crack it. You look to Dale who simply shakes his head. "Lisa's my techie, this might be above her too though." You know for a fact that Jane is worse with these sorts of things than you are and Nadia shouldn't leave her position even if this were her forte. That just leaves Eiji and Lisa. Before you can call for them, you hear from Nadia first. "Walkers in town approaching, maybe a dozen. Movement in the trees on town outskirts, impossible to tell what or how many."

"Gah shit.. well lets get both our people up here, you and I can head downstairs to keep the walkers at bay." With the the plan in motion Naomi leads Dale downstairs as she radios Eiji to hurry up stairs and bring Lisa with her, the computer is going to be a tough nut to crack so the both of them will need to work together to get through the encryption. "Jane you keep an eye on Nadia make sure no one sneaks up on either of you i dont want a repeat of our hit on Barrowsville. Got it?" Naomi says with a air of sarcasm though she did remember the scene of Jane getting mating pressed into the rooftop while nadia was being spitroasted by 2 other walkers. Once downstairs the scout readies her swords pressed up against door way to slice at anything coming through. "Dale you take the other stair case ive got this one. If there's too many retreat up back to the techies."
