Alex followed her with a frown. He spoke as he once again caught himself examining her backside. "Look, I like your enthusiasm, but I don't do the whole feed me stuff. Unless you plan on becoming my wife and making it your duty, you better accept that I'm gonna go get my own food like a proud man. I'm tougher than I look."

she chuckled " tough doesn't mean a lot when hunting, " she tells you " you do not know much of the food here, what you can eat, what you cannot, or what will eat you" she tells you

Alex moved to her side and spoke. "I learn quickly, and anyways I need this knowledge for my research. So no trying to be my mother and bringing me food."

she sighs " okay, but don't blame me when you die from some poison" she tells you

Alex gave her a scowl before speaking. "I have my ways of finding what is and isn't poisonous. I'm sure you'll be able to teach me enough to get by though."

she nods scowling " well if I must," she keeps walking for a while " the river is just a head" she tells you getting ready to lead on

Alex gave her a smile and spoke. "Hey it's better for your village anyways, means you can spend more time hunting for them and not me. Time to see this river."

she nods and leads you to it's banks, it was only about 6 meters across but it would be enough for you to get water to purify, " my tribe has plenty of hunters they will not go hungry if I hunt for you" she tells you

Alex stepped into water and spoke with a smile. "I already feel like I'm going to owe you with what you are doing for me now. I don't want to stack up too much in terms of debt since I can't easily pay you back."

she shakes her head " no debt, I'm your host" she reminds you " you owe me nothing, I'm simply for filling my duties" she adds

Alex gave her a grumpy look before sticking his hands in the water and slapping it towards her. "Your duties require you to take a risk that I don't like. It wasn't an empty threat when I said that if you see the wrong thing then I will take you away forever."

"then I won't.... though, it'd be interesting to see what else there is to see..." she tells you though the last part was mostly to herself

Alex sighed and stepped out of the water in front of her. "There is a lot of things I have to record, and honestly I don't think you'll like some of them. I just feel like I'm dragging you through this unwillingly."

she shakes her head " your the most intresting thing to happen to the village in my life time, we've not been visited by a spirit before" she tells you

Alex gave her a smile and chuckled. "Don't try to flatter me now. I don't think I'd made a good husband even if you'd make a great wife."

"I'm just telling you we've never had a spirit before, it doesn't mean I want to marry you" she tells you

Alex laughed and spoke. "You aren't good at jokes are you? I feel that my playful flirting will only annoy you at this point."
He stepped past her and spoke again. "Well miss escort will you show me to some tasty fruit before I take my leave to return to my ship."

Alex perked up at her flirt and turned to her. He gave her a warm smile and spoke. "I would propose but I wouldn't dare to think you'd be interested."
