Reaching the branching path isn't too hard, though the floor is rough and you stumble a few times in the low light. Only a few other crystals of the same hue offer any illumination every so many steps.

The two branching paths each have a strange symbol on them you don't recognize... you need to decide whether to take the left, or right path.
