Seeing nothing of note so far in this chamber she goes on to the next room, which was rather small at first glance till she looked up and noticed the ledge and an open space up there. Seeing the bulb directly below you, you get ready to fall on the beast and attack only for the bulb to open. (10)Feeling a trap, you're able to catch the corner of one section of the opening bulb leaving you dangling over the viscous liquid within which begins forming tendrils that reach for your ankles. You're don't feel too enthused about getting dunked in whatever that is especially if this beast had such control over that fluid.

Using her Divine Instrument she managed to cut the vine holding her and she starts to fall towards the monster. Just as she was about to ready her weapon again to slam down on the beast she saw the bulb on its back open up and a viscous liquid inside of it. Knowing it's some sort of trap she changes her plan to catching a section of the bulb with her hands leaving her above the liquid. Amaterasu didn't have time to rest though as she saw tentacles forming and reaching for her ankles. Thinking quickly she tries to pull herself up though the moment she felt anything touch her ankles she would use her Brush Technique to slash at the tendrils.

As the tendril approaches, you spot two more also reaching for you, but these ones have far more vile destinations as they suddenly shoot for your crotch and ass. (19)Thankfully, you spotted them in time to realize the one going for your ankle is just a distraction. Cutting all three with one stroke of the brush, you realize the beast hardly reacts as the tentacles lose their shape and fall back into the goo from which they'd been born. The strange orb in the middle pulses as more tentacles begin to form. You realize cutting them is meaningless. You consider cutting the orb, but it's right in the middle of the ooze, you could also try damaging the bulb until the ooze starts spilling out.

Amaterasu sees the tentacles going right for between her legs and was quick to cut them down with a single stroke of her brush technique, though the beast doesn't seem to be bothered by it as the tentacles lose shape and reform into the goo below. She sees the orb in the center pulse and knows that this is where she should probably be aiming for that but right now she needs to get away from it. She tries to swing herself off of the beast while having her brush techniques ready incase the tentacles got close. Once she got some distance she'll try to strike the orb with some brush slashes.

It seems to take time to reform the tentacles, so you have an easy time swinging off before a new one can be formed to try and grab you. Bringing your brush to bare, you attempt to slash at the core, (6)but the leaves, despite being clear, stand up to your assault. Roaring out, the beast lowers its head and begins charging towards you. (16)You're able to avoid it, but this battle is starting to drag out as a bit of a stalemate is forming between you. Even when the creature passes you, it doesn't let up swinging its tail towards you though you have time to react before you need to get out of the way.

Ammy curses under her breath as the leaves move to guard the core in the center and they are rather sturdy despite being transparent. She'll need to figure out a way to get the beast to drop it's guard or something for her to strike at it's bulb. Seeing the beast charge at her she is quick to move to the side to avoid it, the beast a bit large so not faster than her as long as she is focused. As she dodges Ammy knows she needs to do something as this is currently a stalemate that might drag out. As it passes her the tail swings out and she leaps back to avoid it. Deciding to go on the offensive she charges at it after the tail missed her and tries to slam her Divine Retribution into it.

The beast doesn't seem particularly cunning as you predict its actions. Stepping back, the tail waves mere inches before you, (7)but as you charge forward, the creature slams its tail into the ground throwing a cloud of dust and throwing you off from your attack. (7)You bring your arm up to your face to keep the dust from your eyes, and in that moment, you feel a large foot strike you in the stomach. You're sent a few feet by the creature's brute strength coming to a stop only when you hit the wall. The wind was knocked from your lungs as the creature began turning its bulk to try and charge you once again.

Amaterasu curses as she is forced back from the force of the tail hitting the ground, that tail stronger than she thought. The dust that was kicked up forced her to raise an arm to cover her eyes which was a mistake as she didn't see the large foot coming to strike her in the gut. She gasps out as she is hit and sent back before yelping in pain as she hit the wall. She falls onto her hands and knees panting after the wind was knocked from her though she soon heard the creature charging her again and she could feel the floor vibrating under her hands. Quickly she pushes herself up and tries something a bit more cunning, using her Brush Techniques to simply dot the creature's face with ink to blind it before she moves out of its way so she could counter attack.

As you come to a stop, you could almost swear you see the beast smirk a moment before licking its lips, a gesture its hard not to find at least a little unnerving considering the kinds of things demons seem to keep wanting from you.

Splattering the beast's face with ink, it roars in indignation turning its face away and swinging its tail horizontally this time. (19)Quickly, you jump over the tail just barely avoiding the large mass swinging under you. As you come to a landing, the beast now has its back turned to you leaving it open to whatever kind of attack you should choose to use on it.

Ammy couldn't help but feel a bit unnerved as she saw it lick its lips considering how demons seem to be with what they like to do with her but she didn't expect this creature to make such an expression as well. When the beast was blinded she was able to easily avoid it's blind attacks and she quickly gets ready for her next move. Her mind rushes to think of an idea as she looks at the creature's anatomy till she focused on the bulb. Getting an idea she uses her brush techniques, this time the one that causes plant life to bloom. if she could make that bulb on its back bloom open she should be able to attack that thing on the inside.
