They aren't particularly aware, but they are up on a cliff, so there isn't a lot of room to move past them either.

Amaterasu looks at the withered looking trees as she passes them and she could better feel the corruption from them; she knew she needed to find a way to stop this taint soon before it spreads and infects everything. As she walks she soon comes to a small campfire surrounded by several demons. She quickly takes cover before she is spotted and observes them. They were drinking and celebrating by the look of it but they were distracted. Ammy considers sneaking past them but there's too little room to do so, meaning she needs to defeat them.

Considering her options she had a few.
