Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Closer to a little over a hundred, but across exceptionally rough jungle terrain. But, alright, I'll delay that one then. Also, did we name Bowsette?

Unfortunately, the turtle dragon woman is in the middle of a deep inhale, and the blast of ice is bathed in her loose flames. It's not enough to actually damage the ice wall, but the two of them refocus on you. The strange turtle dragon glares at you, surprised, and repositioning herself to take on either of you. Ferien though takes a moment, almost seeming to get ready for a blast before she blinks and shifts out of a combat stance to wave at you. She bellows up, "Talren! You found me!"

No, I don't think we did name Bowsette.

"Well you made it easy with your light show," I sigh, as I land near the two, "Speaking of which, what's all this about? I'd figure you'd know better then to get in a fight in front of a human settlement."

The other woman glares at your sister, but you can see her start to calm down as you talk with your sister. "But the woman looked so strong!" Ferien manages to get out, and... that's pretty consistent for her. The other woman probably didn't get much of a vote in the matter once Ferien made that decision. While you're not for sure, it seems like many of the strange dragon women were not fully prepared for your older sisters antics. You also start to notice a few Hornets hovering in the distance, seeming to be watching the shenanigans but staying out of the way. Hopefully, Theresa isn't already on her way...

I smack my single track minded sister on the side of the head, "Look if you want a fight, I'll fight you, but not here. Look you already attracted the locals attention. You don't even know where you are!" I let out a sigh, and calm myself down, before cutting off any excuses or justifications she makes, and straight up telling her what's going to happen, "Alright, stay here while I talk to the other dragon, then I'm taking you to mom's place. You can explain what you were doing to her." With the line in the sand drawn I turn towards the other dragon, not really approaching, lest she still sporting for a fight after being jumped by my sister, "I'm sorry about that... My name is Talren. What is yours?"

Your sister thrashes her tail, but bows a bit a the promise of a good fight. 'Course, if Theresa's in a salty mood, you could probably sick the two of them on each other. On second thought, that would likely result in broken bones if not a tremendous amount of blood. Flipping your wings, you greet the strange turtle like dragon woman. As you approach, her strange scales slowly begin to migrate toward her back. She doesn't seem to have wings, instead having an exceptionally thick set of scales, so thick they can't be retracted under the flesh as most dragons, requiring her to shapeshift them into a large lump out of the way. The strange woman glares at your sister, before turning her attention back to you, "...Eca is my name."

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

I think I'll have Theresa getting dressed in the locker room if you want to go find her and head off any arrivals.

I'm not going to let her fight Theresa right now. Maybe after my fight with her and I gauge how much I've grow, if they decide they want to go at it, that's between them.

I pause to consider Eca. "A ground dragon right?" I ask, "Haven't seen one before. Then again, I haven't seen very many dragons before. Anyways, I'm sure this is all... very strange to you, but I can offer you a home here. While it's not exactly safe, the locals are friendly... but are at war with these... blob things that can control the minds of the... less magically potent races. They also seem to be highly opposed to dragons and dragonborn being alive. I'm not going to stop you if you want to leave, but I figured you should at least know what danger you are in, and offer... a mutual defense pact, should you decide to stay."

You do have a rather unique set of assets in Theresa and Elizabeth, both as a sparing partner who is radically different than your sisters, and a supplier for equipment, but you do want to test yourself against your older sister and her preference for natural draconic abilities.

Still, Eca nods to you cautiously. "Well, I think my father called us a 'shell' dragon, our defenses are more focused on resistance than other breeds of dragons, but I'm still fire elemental based." She says, and you can confirm from the blast earlier. Your mother might know more, but your own focus is closer to that of an attacker or speed dragon, maybe it has to do with the with other half? You'll definitely have some questions for her. "But... yes. After Lady Blackhorn broke us out, she led us straight to a portal... and I was hoping to find some allies rather than just escape." She seems amenable and friendly even. Probably best to either drop Ferien off with your mother, or something else, as your sister has trouble with impulse control. You should probably tell Theresa as well, as the City Guard will probably prefer things coming down the proper chain of command.

"Uh sure, but it's a larger group of dragons that lack wings but have stronger scales as I understand it. So I'm a Mountain Dragon, so have wings, then there are Sky Dragons which are capable extremely high altitude flight, but are also on the more frail side. With in each of those groups are different types of dragons with overlapping elements. At least that's how my mother, uh, Lady Blackhorn, explained it," I pause before considering what to do, "Okay, so I'm going to make sure my sister gets to mother, but I'll meet you at that big castle there. I'll let them know you are coming, alright?"

Eca seems to pace a bit as you ask her to head to the castle, but Ferien follows you, waiting for instructions for now.

"If you want I can pick you up here?" I offer, waiting for her response before moving to my sister and giving her a general idea where mom is before taking off to show her.

Considering the general idea is 'in the volcano', it shouldn't be that hard to find your mother and sister. Eca paces a bit, but nods at you as you approach. She does seem a bit awkward, waiting for instructions on how you want to carry her.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Isn't the... city built in to one side of the volcano? Besides, dragon lairs aren't suppose to be too obvious, even to dragons, especially a dragon lair that just had a dragon move in.

I consider how to carry her. I did hear that earth dragons to tend to be heavier then mountain dragons, but I can carry over a ton while flying so it should be fine. Princess carry is what I decide on, as I can avoid her shell, and the only alternative is for her to face me, and basically hug her against me... not the most stable flying position.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Yes, but the caldera and such aren't occupied by the populace, so simply going up and then down into it would suffice. There's also a waterfall on it because they use it for power generation and I wanted all of the geographical features without thinking ahead like a twit.

Picking her up, she is indeed a lot heavier than your sister is, but she's probably no more than equivalent to yourself even though she's more svelte. You can't avoid touching the 'shell' which is more like a folded pile of incredibly thick and heavy scales, that are bunched up on her back to keep them out of the way. You'd seen her deploy them with more of a sliding motion compared to your own skin retraction, but it's probably best not to think about how exactly her body is put together unless you want to demonstrate something else for her.

It takes a few moments, but you rise a few levels up, before edging around the mountain itself, finally spotting the palace, up near the halfway and above portion of the volcano. A few of the weapons swivel to point at you, a strange flying 'thing' that they can see, but rather than fire, they track for a few moments before you a feel a slight buzz on your communications device and they return their attention elsewhere.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Well, assuming the nest is connected to the caldera... I figured it'd be underneath it.

While my curiosity is peaked by her body, I put that out of my mind for now. Business time. When I kill those 'inquisitors' I'll have all the time in the world to sate my curiosity.

With the buzzing on my communications device, I try to see if I'm getting a call. Still not use to this thing, but I got it for a reason.

You've got inquisitors, and presumably whatever Void spawn are left over. Didn't the Oracle or somebody say they always travel in threes? You've only accounted for two so far, the one you and Theresa killed that was infesting the Imperial Princess, and the one your mother butchered. You should probably check on her as well, see if she survived. The memories that made Loren such a good political animal are gone, but you're pretty sure that having a princess like her is at least somewhat useful.

Your device doesn't buzz, it seems to have just been triggered and automagically responded with clearances. That's a good feature you suppose, but you've soon got one of the fancier Hornet's, wait, two of them, moving out to escort you toward the palace. Still, it's nice to see a bit of pomp put into greeting you, although Theresa is likely still busy with the numerous things she has to do, although you could probably track her down.

Politics is not how we're going to have to deal with such things. This is more of a hunting campaign to run these things to extinction. Since Loren is a separate individual now, she can handle any of the politicking to smooth things over while I get my hands dirty.

Well, that works. Still, I need to talk to Theresa or... well I suppose that there were other sisters that could handle it... Trying to piece together the memories of the memories ripped away... wasn't there one called... Diana, I want to say, that was basically the governor of the city? Considering they need to make preparations for the dragonborn coming in, I need to speak with one of them.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

As an aside, the loss of memories is supposed to primarily effect direct memories. Talren will still have memories of his own thoughts when he remembered something from Loren's life, but like he forgot the original Loren memory. Loren will have the same feature, just from when Talren was summoned till the split, so any thoughts Talren had of his own past will be something that Loren can recall.

Coming in for a gentle touch down, Eca nearly springs out of your arms, seeming to almost be a blushing, but she places a hand on the ground, giving it a pat, so you suppose it could just be nervousness at being so far from sturdy ground. Still, there's an honor guard waiting for you, so you could ask them to get ahold of somebody. The question is, who? Theresa is probably tired of all the shit going on in her life involving you, so pestering Diana instead seems like it might be more appropriate. While dragons are exceptionally powerful, they're probably not going to be a... military asset unless they chose to be. Probably best to not get the Queen involved just yet, your memory still has some holes in it from having Loren ripped out, but you do recall bits and pieces of division of labor, and Eca is more likely going to want to nest in the city before she does anything else, which seems like a 'person in charge of the city' thing, rather than a 'person in charge of the entire island chain' thing.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Hence my term of 'memories of memories.' He has thought of Laura's sisters when he had her memories. Probably only can vaguely recognize them though.

Well, regardless of what Theresa wants, this has to do with the Weavers, and the plans to deal with them. While the dragons aren't going to simply submit, all of them have been persecuted and hunted in the previous world, so many I imagine would be happy for a safe home, and to defend that home. Even if they don't, most will likely be quite content to work together to face a mutual enemy, especially since they are the primary threat to dragons alive. No dragon is stupid enough to think that they would have better chances alone then working with others. I let Eca calm down as I talk to the honor guard, "I'd like to speak about Diana, but do inform Queen Theresa of the meeting as well. While her presence isn't required, this does involved the fallout of the invasion fleet, and how to deal with future threats so she should be aware of it."

A few of the Honor Guard salute you, as their future Prince Consort assuming that's been announced while you were busy impregnating your sister. Well, one of them, and now you're going to marry a different sister. Still, your mind does seem to be drifting toward sex before a guard steps forward to guide you to meet with Princess Diana. Assuming you follow along, it doesn't take long to meet her and you're hit with a wave of memory as she looks up from her desk. Rather than the large fluffy dresses that Theresa seems to like for meeting people... no, you just caught Diana in a 'doing work' phase, she didn't have time to get the fancy dresses out. Still, you're struck by how beautiful she is, blinking at the idea of another gorgeous sibling form a past life. Loren had all the luck, as most of them actually listened to her, didn't they! Still, you've got to figure out how to introduce these two.

Great... Wasn't enough for Ece to be causing my dick to want to jump out and play... now my sister of my last life has to try and distract me! Shaking off the thoughts I get to business, "Diana. We haven't been formally introduced, but I am afraid I have to cut to the point. This here is Ece, one of the dragons my mother brought over with her. I do plan to at least offer them a home here, in exchange for defense of it from the Weavers... Of course details need to be hashed out."
