Judith smiles at you, asking you to wait here for a few moments while she cleans off. She steps out, and you hear a hiss and some water spray after a moment, and in less than a minute she's back, but in a much more tightly fitting undersuit and her hair is damp. "Alright, I was hoping I could have a fun go at you. This room is set up more for sparring, so all of the magical safety stuff is built directly into it, but it can't handle more than two or three people at a time. I don't think we want to wait the half hour it takes to power up my real combat armor since it's being maintained right now." She ways.

You can't help looking her incredibly toned form up and down as the skin tight suit reveals quite a bit of what's going on under it.

Pausing at her asking me to stay for a moment, I wait for her to come back. Watching her carefully as she walks out, still damp from her cleaning. It is likely more appealing than intended, so I avoid gawking at her. Considering her offer I do point out, "I have been waiting for T... Queen Teresa to get back to me, so I would prefer getting word back from her about my meeting with her before I accept."

She gives you a slight pout, before shrugging. "Well, we could do a quick one if you wanted, but I'm good with whatever you decide." She says. Her shrug does interesting things to the defined body parts you can see accentuated by the suit she's wearing.

Watching her out of the corner of my eye, I reply carefully, offering, "I rather not rush it. I'll get back to you after I get more information. I'll meet you later if I have time later." After that I give her an apologetic nod before looking either for Teresa or a guard that could answer if she is available.

She seems a bit sad, but shrugs and moves over to the side door and begins to pull out very large weights and begins to lift them herself, working up a sweat after what she just finished washing off. As you head back toward your room, you spot Theresa heading toward that direction as well, a purposeful march keeping her from spotting you.

Deciding that subtly won't get me anywhere, as even if she doesn't notice me, if she goes anywhere with an interesting secret, there will be guards that will stop me, I call out, "Hey, found time for me yet?"

She gives a slight jump when you startle her, and you feel a reflexive surge of magical energy. While you've never fully understood human fascination with 'blood lines', you can easily understand how someone that could gather mana like that could become dominant. Quickly settling down and releasing her magic, she brushes her hair from her ear in a nervous gesture, "Yes, I do have some time now." She tells you. You can almost hear her heart flutter at the startled nature of her jump.

I raise my hands up and give a small smile at her reaction, as if to say that I'm not a threat, while my brain idly muses about bloodlines. From an individuals point of view it makes sense, you want to give your children everything you have, including your position... it's why humans outside the family accepts this that I find baffling. "Probably not best to speak in the middle of the hall though. The room you gave me is close if you didn't have another place in mind."

She glances around, but quickly agrees and gives you a nod leading the way into your room. Heading in, she pulls out a seat from the small seating area around a table and gathers a small carafe of chilled water, draining it from a spigot on the wall, cold water filling it and pouring two glasses for herself and you. "I've taken care of a few things, and we've looked more into what happened and have a good understanding of what happened. I can explain, but it's not very relevant, namely how you want to move forward. I could really use my sister's experience on some things, but I know I won't be getting it, and I'll live with it. So, have you thought about what you want to do? I can still offer you a room and board, but I don't know you as a person and if that's how you want to live your life."

She seems to be trying to make this right as best she can, but she's obviously still hurting from the loss of her sister.

Fortunately, I've remembered my general plan for this. I might be futzing around with it a little. Did you enjoy dungeon crawling at all? I'm thinking of poaching some mechanics from the various RPG/world style stories. Would certainly fit with your draconic urge to loot.

"That would be an interesting to hear... but later. As you alluded to, there are more pressing matters," I stop to give a smile, before taking a sip of water and continuing, "Depending on what you need, I may be able to help. I never really had much in the way of goals... I just wanted to stay with my family." I pause for a moment, eyes widening slightly as I realized that might be a sore subject. Letting out an embarrassed cough I continue, "Anyways, my primary concern is reuniting with my family. There really isn't much to go back to, at 'home.' The locals hate us, and want us dead, and other than us... There's nothing there for us..." I trail off, remember my dad's death, as my gaze drops in sorrow.

Sure, though I do want to say that I think it might be a good idea to finish character stuff, and give Talren time to settle in before he goes on loot expeditions.

She leans in, placing a hand on your shoulder in sympathy, recognizing at least some of what's going on. "We might be able to make a home for them here, but I don't know if we'll be able to actually summon them properly. We had an actual link to the soul with you." Still, the young woman seems vulnerable at this time, likely showing you things she won't show any of her subjects. "Just... no terrorizing the countryside?" She tries to bring the subject back around to humor even as the sadness stays in her eyes.

"I did hear that you had yourself a little bit of a show match with the head of our Strike Calvary, and even put her on the ropes for a bit."

"Hahahaha, looks like dragons still don't have the best reputation here, even if it isn't to the point of 'kill on sight,'" I take up her offer to move the subject to humor, let out a chuckle to disguise the remnant pain, before assuring her, "We've not done that. We've been hiding peacefully for a couple of decades now... Mom even gave up her horde than terrorize the countryside. And besides you do have an link to their souls," I smile as I press my thumb to my chest, "Mom left me one. And she's powerful enough where she can follow, given enough time, so if you make thing simple on this end, she can probably do the heavy lifting." I beam utter confidence in mom's abilities.

Strike Calvary? I muse for a bit before deciding the only one I've even met that could possibly fit that title was Judith. "Yeah well, I was wandering around and she spotted me... Apparently didn't like I was skulking around, but I managed to clear the understanding, but she decided that we should spar. It was an... enlightening experience."

"Well, I'm just going off of legends. I doubt too many would recognize you for one, even if you still had your tail and wings. Most of the ones from our legends are of the giant, house sized variety. You're a bit small for that." She gives you a wink, seeming to unwind a bit at your laugh. The woman is likely almost totally unfamiliar with being able to actually talk to someone. "Still, it would be nice, but I want to let the crystals and such finish recharging before we try anything." She tells you.

"I'm glad that my commander meets with your approval, she's probably one of the only ones around that can deal with a shapeshifter who has natural magical enhancements like you. Most of hers are built for combating mages and other groups rapidly, so I'm not surprised that she was able to show you that humans are not to be underestimated." She begins to perk up, a bit of pride at her troops showing.

"Yeah well, I'm only half-dragon so no house sized form for me," I state, laughing a bit more. I pause for a moment before asking, "And how long with that take? They are still waiting to hear what is going on."

"I'd say it's more that I met her approval. She seems quite impressed by me, says she wants to spar again," I reply with a wry smile.

She raises an eyebrow, "Top half or bottom half?" before falling into a fit of giggles. "The recharge should take... a few months depending. Our current mana crystal harvesters are somewhat busy as we've had certain rumors that require a possible military response. As much as I want to help, I have a duty to my kingdom, and I cannot exhaust my soldiers gathering mana crystals when they need to be ready for enemy activity." She seems genuinely sad, but you can understand how someone who just had a personal issue completely fall apart not wanting to spend more resources on another one, at least for a while.

"Oh, you should spar with her. She really only seems to like fighting, she needs to get laid..." She cups her mouth, surprised at herself.

"Yes," I respond with a shit-eating grin, before unconsciously frowning as I consider the situation. With difference in time flow a few months will be several years for my family... that seems way to long.

"Well the pla..." I start before stopping as I fully process her last sentence.

"You did not hear that. I did not say that." She begins to turn bright red, and covers her head and groans.

After recovering from the surprise, I let out a teasing smile as I continue, "Well, she did ask me for a sparring session so I was going to do that after this, but if you want I can schedule another kind of... event with her."

"No, nononononono. Do nothing of the sort." She continues to turn red, clutching the top of her head in embarrassment.

"I mean are you sure? It sounds like I'm going to be here for a while by myself, so it's not like I won't have free time," I press forth with a barely suppressed grin, "Hell, maybe that should be my job. She certainly couldn't be the only one who is desperate need of a lay."
