Four of the tentacles extend outward, wrapping around each other to create something like a long spike, teeth jutting out from all four sides. Your son informs you that he will rip and tear as soon as you get him in contact with them if you desire. The two wolf cubs begin to growl and squirm in your arms, making standing still difficult. You could try and take off as the group of wolves begin to howl. Or you could try to climb one of the trees to escape, although you'd have to depend on luck to make it to a tree first.

yeah, that was kind of my intention to delineate the objective. having an army of children following me in this game might not really work? i'm not so sure here. you can choose.

The way I was going to work it was the tentacle monster would oviposit, which would absorb the sperm, and then eat the eggs to gain the traits of whatever just fucked your character. Or you could pre-oviposit I suppose.

Your son seems to be adjusting, keeping the center of weight near your wrist by moving his other tentacles and body mass further back away from the 'blade' out front. (12) The first one you find, catches a wad of tentacles and teeth to the face, and a quick bit of movement sees the entire face and head of the wolf torn with cuts, an ear getting lost in the process. The wolf howls in obvious agony, but the wounds are obviously more painful than debilitating. Your weapon, while sharp and strong, doesn't have the rigidity to actually skewer something it seems.

I don't think I'm able to properly end the enemy in one strike, but at least it hurts enough. I up the tempo of my aggressiveness, slashing at the wolves to inflict as much pain as I can and get them to run away. If I can spread the message that this area is unsafe for wolves, then I'll have exceeded the requirements of my contract!

Whatever you're doing, it seems to work and the wolf begins to back away, tail between his legs in fear. But as it falls back, you find that you've recovered enough energy that you can fly again, with your new puppies.

Retreat seems to have been the smarter option, as a few seconds after you take off, you hear a distant set of crashes as multiple wolves crash into the clearing to find their dead Alpha and the badly wounded pair of others. You could head directly back to the quest giver and turn in your quest for some loot. Or you could go looking for other things to do in the meantime.
