As a trainer, life was filled with adventure after adventure. With your Pokémon at your side and Unova as your oyster, you had trekked the region for years, battling and exploring, making rivals and friends. Your quest to wander the world and see all there was to see took you everywhere from the deepest caves to the highest mountains. Anything worth exploring, anything new to experience was fair game for you. So, when staying at the Nimbasa Pokémon center, you had heard nearby Lostlorn forest had been undergoing some suspicious changes as of late, you knew where next your party would be headed. To hear the other trainers tell it, strange men had been seen outside the path leading into the forest, shooing people away. When the men finally left, the few brave enough to venture deeper in came upon a huge fence cordoning it off.
That much could be confirmed; you now stood before the tall chain linked fencing that stretched as far as the eye could see in either direction off the dirt road. The gate, just as tall and imposing, is held shut with multiple heavy padlocks. Twice your height and lined with barbed wire, you can't help but wonder who would put such effort into sealing off a forest. Why would they do it? What was going on inside this barrier that was so important? You had to know... But first, you had to decide how you'd get in. Truthfully, it wouldn't stand much of a chance against your Pokémon, but destroying a section would definitely alert whoever put it up to your intrusion. Perhaps there was a gap somewhere? Or maybe you could risk climbing it...
