Digital Bimbos (Soru)

[Firehead]

He gives you a curious look. "Yeah, I make maps. Better than hanging around this dump. C'mon in." As he leads you in, you find the building's interior looks about as poorly maintained as its exterior. He takes you into a small sitting room offering you a seat. "So you're looking for a map then? I got my originals in the back, but I can make you a copy of one. What areas were you looking for? Do you need something with lots of details or just some basic landmarks to keep you moving in the correct direction?"

[Soru]

Walking into the building Gatomon looks around to see that the interior didn't look much better than the exterior. Either he didn't like the clean up much or there was little money for what he did. "Thanks." She says for the seat as she sits down and looks at him. "Well I'm heading towards RBG City. Obviously I'm not going to ask for maps all the way there, however a decently detailed map of to at least the next town, Ramshed, would be enough. Mainly I need something incase I get lost on the way there." She explains to him.

He seems to notice you looking about his home. "Sorry about the mess. I spend much of my time out surveying, so I don't often have time to clean up. Hmm, I can do Ramshed. If you're just looking to get there, I can reduce the fine detail to keep the map smaller. It won't show you everything about the terrain, but I can put in enough large landmarks that it shouldn't be difficult to have a general idea of where you are at any time. When were you looking to head out? It'll take me a couple of hours to get everything copied to your map. Then there's the question of my fee."

"I suppose just enough to get me there and enough for me to find my way incase I get lost." She told him when he asked how much detail she wanted on the map. I'm looking to head out soon, hopefully not today but maybe tomorrow. I was going to look into a job that goes out of town to Ramshed soon." She answered him. "How much would the map be? I have some money..." She said as she takes out her coin pouch and counts how much money she has left since she had to buy her clothes.

"For a job like this, you're looking at 3 or 4 bits if you can wait until morning for it. I can have it done in four hours, but there'll be an extra 2 or 3 for a rush job." Looking at your purse, you find you're in possession of 20 bits still, so you'd still have some funding left. In addition, if you get that job like you were planning, you could expect some additional pay to shore up your finances along the way. "So, I can go ahead and get started on it. If you need it tonight, just remember to give me four hours of notice."

Gatomon thinks for a bit as she wonders how soon she's going to need this map. "Hmm, well I was going to see about joining an escort job to Ramshed but I don't know when it's going to leave. Maybe you can have it done maybe by the morning so I can get it first thing in the morning?" She asked him. "If so how much would that cost me? And do I pay now or when I get the map?"

Once she had her answers she would thank him for his help and then head towards the next address, the one that she hopes didn't find a female to be part of the escort yet.

[Firehead]

"Yeah, morning will be easy enough, and that'll run you 4. I'll take half now and half when you get the map." He takes the two bits nodding as he does. "Pleasure doing business with ya. Just come back here in the morning."

With that business concluded, you head up onto the hill looking over the town. It's a mansion quite a bit bigger than any of the buildings in town. You can see various Mon standing around keeping sharp eyes on their surroundings. The place certainly looked like someone important lived there.

Walking towards the mansion Gatomon is reminded a bit of when she went to go see Datamon though she was sure the owner of this place will be more likable... she hopes. Though this place seemed to have more security as she sees various Digimon on guard and she hopes that they'll let her in as she approaches. She walks up to the entrance trying to seem confident but not threatening. "Hello. I'm here to ask about an escort job from the owner of this place." She tells the guards.

[Firehead]

The large Ogremon at the front gate looks you over. "Oh right, the boss was looking for a female escort." He waves over another male whispering something into his ear before they disappear. "Just wait here a minute." A Hawkmon in very formal attire comes by eventually looking you over. "Hello, you are the applicant? The master has been waiting for anyone suitable to come asking, so we'll begin quickly, follow me." As the two of you start walking, he clears his throat not breaking stride. "How much do you know about this assignment?"

[Soru]

Gatomon couldn't help but gulp a bit as a large Ogremon looks over her though she is surprised that unlike Datamon's guards who were rather perverted with her these guys seemed more professional. She waits as instructed till a Hawkmon arrives and has her follow him. "Well... I heard that the owner of this place has a daughter that needs to be escorted to her... wedding if I remember right. It's at Ramshed I think? And that he wanted at least one female to escort her." She answered him as best as she could.

[Firehead]

He nods along. "Yes, that about sums it up, so I'll leave it up to the Master to fill you in on the remaining details." He leads you down a couple of halls before stopping at a door. "The Master is already awaiting you here in the study." He waits for you to enter the room before turning to leave.

The room is rather large, and every wall is lined with books though they're a whole lot more organized than the map-maker's home had been. A large ShogunGekomon sat behind a desk smoking a pipe. "Ah, so you're the one who finally answered my call. I have many to protect my darling princess' life, but there is something almost as precious that must be protected until she arrives for the wedding." He knocks the ashes from the pipe before setting it down. "So tell me, are you up for protecting my darling daughter's purity by any means necessary during this chaotic time?"

[Soru]

Gatomon was a bit surprised to find how large and organized the room she was lead into before she noticed the large ShogunGekomon sitting behind the desk smoking a pipe. The way he talked and acted was different than most of the other Digimon she's meant so far, maybe due to this high end lifestyle. She tries to keep herself composed and standing straight as he talks to her and when she responds. "Of course, I will make sure your daughter makes it to her wedding without anyone touching her before then." She said with a nod of her head. "I'll do whatever I need to do to make sure she gets there safe and pure."

[Firehead]

He looks very relieved. "Good good, my men are usually very professional, but since this mess happened, they've been needing reminders of their duties. If I could take the trip with them, I'm sure I could keep them in line, but I have other duties I must see to before I go for the wedding myself, so think of yourself as the last line of defense. As for the details, the trip takes three days which you'll spend in the carriage with her. Recompense will be handed over when you get back. I suppose 450 bits should be enough."

Gatomon felt a bit relieved as well when the ShogunGekomon relaxed a bit meaning she said the right thing. She nods her head a bit as he continues through when he told her that the pay will be given when she gets back she said, "Oh, um... Actually about my pay..." She sits up straight. "The amount is enough but I plan to head from Ramshed towards RBG City after the job is done. Is it possible I can receive my payment in Ramshed? I rather not come back to this town just to head back out there agaian."

[Firehead]

He nods to your request. "Hmm, I don't think that will be a problem." He stands up. "Yes, that can be arranged. I'll can have everything arranged for the trip to leave in the morning. Now, since you'll be spending so much time with her, it'll make sense to introduce you to my daughter now rather than waiting until she's packed up and ready to go for you two to meet." Standing up, he leads you out of the room and down the hall knocking on a door. After a few seconds delay a feminine voice answers. "Yes?" The father clears his throat. "Honey, I've found you a personal escort for your trip. May we come in." She invites the two of you in, and when the door opens, you see Ranamon awaiting you.

[Soru]

"Thank you very much." She said to him with a smile, thankful that her request was so easily met. It seems like today might be going well now as he didn't even ask for anything extra from her for this. "I'll be here in the morning then." She tells him before following him to his daughter's room. She wondered just what kind of Digimon this male's daughter is as they make their way down the hall. Entering the room though Gatomon is surprised to see Ranamon and for a moment she tries to see if this is the same Ranamon she encountered at the bar she worked at yesterday.

[Firehead]

As you look her over, there's no sign of recognition on her face, so it's either a different Ranamon, or she's really good at hiding it. "Ah, so you'll be helping me reach my husband unmolested. I'll be counting on you to make sure I'm able to remain pure until I make it to my wedding." The father clears his throat. "Honey, it's best to put such things out of mind. No good can come of worrying yourself over such things." She nods her head. "Yes father," she turns back to you. "Sorry to bring up such a vulgar topic. I'll look forward to getting to know you during the trip."

[Soru]

Gatomon couldn't tell if this was the same Ranamon or not but it doesn't seem like it with the way she is talking. Though if the Ranamon is the same one then she is not as pure as her father think she is. "Yeah, I look forward to it as well." She said and gave a polite. "And the vulgar talk is fine; kind of getting used to it since the big change that's happened to us. Anyways, I'll be sure to make sure you get there safely." She said with a confident smile.

[Firehead]

She nods politely, "Thank you, I'm so looking forward to seeing my husband soon." Her father clears his throat. "Now, you should be getting ready for bed with such a big day ahead of you, and I need to make some final preparations. Ms. Gatomon, please follow me." He leads you back to the front door though you do have time to ask any last questions you might have before he likely bids you farewell until morning.

[Soru]

"Alright, sir. I'll see you tomorrow, Ms. Ranamon." She bows politely to Ranamon before following the ShogunGekomon out of the room and towards the front door. "So how early are you planning to send her out? I was going to run an errand before we leave and I don't want to keep you waiting. Oh, and I'll be coming here correct? Or will I be meeting Miss Ranamon somewhere else?" She asked him so she is sure she had time to get the map and show up on time and in the right place.
