Oh, guess it wasn't obvious but I had Vivian leave her rifle in her locker in the armory. She just has her handgun for now.
As Vivian walks through the halls of the ship she can't help but be in awe at the Avenger. "
This thing fucking flies? Sweet Lord...", she thinks as she follows a little holographic prompt toward her destination. The thing literally had to be the size of the old American aircraft carriers she had seen in magazines and movies growing up, and those could apparently have up to 5000 people on them! She wasn't sure how much space this flying ship had, but it could easily do a few thousand she had to guess. Well, a few thousand if it was in tip top shape that is. She was pretty sure she had heard Bradford and Shen and Tygan talk about upgrades and getting materials at some point for that same purpose, as well as activiating some dormant systems they knew were there but were nonoperational. Doing that however meant completely clearing the ship and cleaning it, but that was a job all its own clearly. As Vivian kept walking she past dozens of other rooms still tapped off, and even a set of stairs down to a lower deck that was not only tapped off but sealed
and barricaded! What was down there?
Well whatever the case Vivian got to her goal eventually, walking into the room and immediately feeling a little awkward as all the men looked at her, eyes drinking her in form appreciatively. She moves past that though, and walks next to the door and leans up against the wall. None of the men seem to question her presence, but stared a bit longer before getting back to work. They all were sweating with the work they were doing, but looked mentally strained as well, like they all had headaches, well... headaches in their dicks maybe. Vivian soon understood why, as the she only know takes notice of the odd atmosphere in the room. It didn't hurt mind, but that could be because of her supposedly Meld enhanced body for all she knew. Maybe it took a long time to build up?
And so Vivian waited, watching the buff men work. She didn't wait long though till one men overturned a piece of metal to find an alien corpse though. He shouts in pain and discomfort, immediately backing away before quickly being helped out of the room. The other men pause for only a moment to take note of the sectoid corpse though, then get right back to work. One of the men starts talking to her then, but at this point she doesn't really hear what he says, her eyes firmly locked on the sectoid's body, or rather then purplish greenish wisps of swirling
something over it. Was she the only one seeing that? Or were the other so used to it they didn't care? Granted though it was fairly faint. "Do you guys see that?", Vivian asks, walking toward the sectoid body. She didn't really know what she was going to do when she got there, but given what she learned about this armor so far it was clear the elerium crystals in her armor and psionic energy interacted in some way. She reached out slowly with her hand, trying to touch the crystal band on her wrist to strange little eddy to see what happened.
