At last... graduation day.
It had been a long time coming that was for sure. It had been six grueling years since you had enlisted, training from a mere cadet of the Empire to becoming a full fledged officer, but finally you had finished. You were trained in combat and physics and flight, having excelled in magical practices as you have, being top of your classes in that regard, and found yourself poised to have almost any kind of posting you wanted within the Empire! Hopefully somewhere safe and comfortable though, as the with the way the world was heading(correction: this world), it seemed like the drums of war were beating hard all around you.
"Lieutenant Yeager!", You hear a voice suddenly boom out. On pure reflex with you respond with a crisp and proper response, before neatly marching yourself out of the ranks of soldiers all clad in finely tailored dress uniforms. You ignore the crowd as the watch you come to front, silent; not like you had relatives there anyway considering your up bringing anyway. In either case, you head up the Colonel leading the parade, right at the center and front. You stop before him, stamping your foot in a proper halt before saluting and stepping forward.
"Lieutenant Yeager, congratulations on your success in the training program.", The Colonel says, Colonel Gregor, the Commandant of the officer academy. "You've certainly excelled more then many could have possibly anticipated too. And at such a young age! Your aptitude all around is magnificent, and you should be proud. You'll be doing amazing things in the future I'm sure, for the good of the Empire.", he says, offering his hand for you to shake. Now that he addressed you, it was safe for you to talk back and shake his hand in return, despite being on parade as you were.
"However Lieutenant, I have not called you up here simply to praise you. You are the top candidate in your class by almost every possible metric, save raw physical ability. Which of course isn't to say your a slouch in that regard but... well, we are what we are.", Colonel Gregor says, referencing your relative diminutive size. "As such, It is my discretion to give you more then just a congratulatory certificate.", He says. Your confused for a moment, not sure what he's getting it, till he brings out couple red bands with pins. Your heart skips a beat as you recognize the shoulder bars that signify rank. "Congratulations Captain.", The Colonel says with a smile, before affixing the bars next to the ones already on your shoulders. Now giving you two on each shoulder.
